IT is an Air France Flight and appears to be weather related.

The flight crashed at 3:38pm EST. in Toronto. Please be advised that the time indicated in our posts is not Eastern Standard Time.

Hi Mohit:

I've been watching this live on tv as well. The latest report is that it was landing in a vicious thunderstorm and that it came down short of the runway and veered off into a gully. A fire started (possibly an explosion on impact) and is still going strong... a few minutes ago there was another flare-up or explosion. The word from the experts is that there are probably casulaties although there is no official report of anything.

Thankfully it doesn't "appear" that this is terrorist related, but it's still way too early to tell.

Please join us in praying that everyone got off.

As I'm writing, I'm hearing an update from someone who was on board... Here's a summary of what she said... the plane was coming down, short of the runway when it suddenly took a fast drop right down and bounced hard several times on the ground. She thinks the tires burst and the plane veered off into the gully and immediately there was fire in the fuselage. Several people had injuries like broken arms/legs and the passengers started sliding out through the emergencies exits. She doesn't know if everyone was able to get off safely or not.

Love, Sheba

Our prayers are with all for the best possible outcome in safety and well being for everyone. Laila

Prayers for everyone to get off the plane safely.

Venky

Update: According to the Greater Toronto Airport Authority, there are NO casulaties, although about 30 people have been taken to hospital. Amazing.

Good prayin' everyone!!

Love, Sheba

Oops, sorry! I meant no FATALITIES.

This is certainly a miracle.....good prayin' indeed! Love, Joanie What about the lost 13 year old in Yankee Stadium, did they ever find him??

Three phrases should be among the most common in our daily usage. They are: Thank you, I am grateful and I appreciate.
