725 am. Freakin’ shower head broken. Everything in this apartment is falling apart. When the hell are my going to find time to fix this?

745 am: Damn rain. I’ll get soaked if I take the bus. And if I call the cab I have to pay the booking fee. Stupid taxi system. 10 bucks just to get 2 miles. What a waste!

810 am: This company sucks! I have to do everything here, no one is reliable. This just isn’t sustainable. The client better appreciate the work I have done for them. It wasn’t even my job.

10 am: Call from client. “Bharat- those are excellent slides. They really tell the story I need. Thanks so much. Can you make one more for me showing….. I think those will resonate well with the other international presidents”

10:02 am. This guy is insatiable! Does he not realize I was up at 1 in the morning putting this together for him?

11:32 am My prospect is 30 minutes late for the sales call. Wasting my time.I doubt they have the money anyways to spend with us.

12:20 pm: Meeting’s over. But so is the damn game. I missed almost the whole thing. What’s the point of watching the last 10 minutes, it’s practically over.

1:02 pm: stupid lucky victory. Never would have happened if TO was playing. Game would have been so much more fun to watch TO – and I would be doing so much better in my fantasy league. And I should have started the Dallas defense. I’m an idiot. I should have just stayed in the office.

5:48 pm: Finally get out of the office. What a waste of another day. Got nothing done. And that last job application – still haven’t heard anything back. Now I have to go send more emails.

8:30 pm: Basketball game. Another local Singaporean team. Hate playing against these guys. They play so dirty. And the refs let them get away with everything because we are so much better than them.

8:53 pm: Finally, my first basket! These refs are horrible. Why do I even play in this league?

10:32 pm: What? John can’t make things happen on his own right? All he can do is introduce me. Things are never as easy as they seem.

12:35 am: I guess I can blog about this day when nothing at all went right. What’s the point, no one will comment. Though I might get another snide remark from Gotham. He’s never gotten over the fact I am taller than him and a much better athlete. He can’t kick my butt in basketball and baseball like he used to when he was 12 and I was 8. Jerk.

12:50 am: Another waste of a day. And more of the same tomorrow. Then that date tomorrow night. I doubt anything will happen. What’s the point?
