on saving the world from Puerto Rico!
The Alliance conference here in Puerto Rico promises to be very exciting -- or so I presume...
While I thought I would be interacting with world visionaries, meeting inspiring activists and grassroots leaders, my first day at the conference has been "mommy" exhausting.
I thought that before we go to the conference I would take the girls to the beach. Alas, if life were only so easy! It took about three hours to figure out bathing suits, sand castle gear, feeding times, bathroom preparation, etc. We packed the stroller -- two swimming tubes on each side -- and headed out. Of course, as soon as Tara (almost 4) saw the stroller, she insisted on sitting in it, leaving me to carry Leela in one arm, and push the stroller with all the above with the other. All the more complilcated when going across cultivated grassy lawns, through the sand, and up and down stairs (the elevators here take forever).
Spent a few minutes on the beach before the wind blew the tubes across and knocked down the stroller - so imagine me running after them, one toddler in one arm, the other hanging onto my legs. We reach the pool (took about 1/2 hour to walk 25 yards), step in and Tara yells, "Mommy, I have to go the bathroom." Everyone stares. (Bad bathroom preparation.) So we get out, collect our gear, and run to the bathroom, fortunately making it there on time.
So, finally to the conference. (FYI, Intentbloggers Nandita Das, Satish Kumar, Ashok Khosla, Anand Shah are also here). An opening session of dialogues, inspiring kids, etc.
As soon as Leela saw my dad on stage, she started shouting "Nana! Nana!" Kicking and screaming she wanted to go on the stage. So, the rest of the evening was spent outside the hall, showing Leela Christmas lights, playing a sitting game on the sofa, and singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" Tara, however, sat through the whole session (with my mom) and claims it was very inspiring!
So I am tired, but to be honest, had a perfect day with my girls. Saving the world will have to wait until tomorrow!

Enjoy. Look forward to hearing more about the conference. Hope it generates food for thought and a basis for action.
Mallika; wonderful reflection, thanks for letting us join in.
WE women, are just so amazingly equipped for anything; even saving the world, another day(smiles.)
big hugs Mallika, from all of us; whom stand behind each one of you; speaking for a better understanding and approach to world peace.
Bravo! I bow to you all; or, being a girl, am I supposed to curtsey, I DO want to be protocol-correct(grin.)

Hi Mallika,
Sounds like a typical mom day to me! Brings me right back!
Something that strikes me right now though, even more than my memories of my children at those ages, is when I was in Puerto Rico for the first ANH conference. At the last minute we decided to go as a family. And although I met fascinating people and enjoyed participating in the conference, the part of my experience that struck me the most was watching my children playing in the waves. We went all the way to Puerto Rico to talk about peace so I could remember that it all begins right at home with my own family. It's really important to get that straight. At least it was for me.
We have the world right in front of us and the biggest tragedy is when we cannot see.
Love and Blessings to you and your family,
Kristin
ps. Tomorrow you and Tara and Leela can give the talk on patience, flexibility and love. :)
Mellika,
Make sure you remind everyone that Amaranth ends poverty, hunger, and disease, and the spread of HIV. It is labor intensive to harvest no machines, so it allows the unskilled to create major economic value.
I need 900 tons can India provide it? I will be purchasing (thanks to supply chain technology) directly from the producers (farmers and workers) , there will be no middle men to usurp their profits, I will distribute it directly to the processing and packaging companies. In fact I will enable them to buy direct.
Rock dust puts a check on global warming, and creates bumper crops also helping end hunger and disease, by nutrient deficient produce we are
The silica in rock dust traps co2 in the soil. Over a period of time and accelerated by farming the minerals are leached out causing global warming a short Ice age volcanic activity to replace them. We might be able to avoid that.
Get this across and you will all be on your way to saving the planet.
If people are really serious about saving the world then I have a clear cut path to follow.
Maybe I will win the Nobel Peace prize.
I have an energy device however I cannot patent it in the US because they can lock it down for National Security reasons and I can only sell it to the government. I need funding to launch it globally instantaneously. I thought about renting stadiums all over the world to demonstrate it so that it cannot be suppressed.
This cannot be done on a whim it takes management and preparation because of the economic and system effects resulting from a sudden switch from oil that will occur over the next ten years after this (yes 10 years is sudden).
Knowing this in advance and the effects on commerce and business, I know the items that will suddenly become of great value. Two things that is now cheap.
Knowing in advance what I know I can arrange a legal transfer of the worlds incumbent wealth back to those from whom it was stolen.
The first two items are for sure.
The last one is for sure if there is a divine force in the universe.
We could have started this a few years ago but nobody called me. : )
If anyone one doubts there is a divine force.
AESOP'S FABLES
THE ROSE AND THE AMARANTH
A Rose and an Amaranth blossomed side by side in a garden, and the Amaranth said to her neighbour, "How I envy you your beauty and your sweet scent! No wonder you are such a universal favourite." But the Rose replied with a shade of sadness in her voice, "Ah, my dear friend, I bloom but for a time: my petals soon wither and fall, and then I die. But your flowers never fade, even if they are cut; for they are everlasting."
The Aztecs believed Amaranth had magical properties that would give them amazing strength. Because of this, it became one of the main foods of the Aztec royalty.
http://infiniteplaythemovie.com/amaranth.aspx
In India amaranth is known as "rajeera" (the King’s grain)
It is time.
You just have to knock on the door.
Synonyms such as "mystical grains of the Aztecs," "super grain of the Aztecs," and the "golden grain of the Gods" were used to describe the nutritious amaranth grain.
Does the world’s management need any more clues?
I am getting ready to assume that those in the position to do so are not really serious about saving the world, ending HIV, poverty, or hunger.
I am starting to think they are all pretending.
In which case we go to plan B.
The world will not like plan B.
Part of plan B is I will simply email to 7,000 universities on the planet the instructions to build the device, with no planning.
The currencies of this planet can be made to lose all their perceived value, because it is dependant on perception. The world currencies are being used for a sophisticated indentured servitude, and quite frankly this will no longer be tolerated. So all those that are rich will no longer be because you were not responsible with gifts granted you.
The intelligence has been provided to end at least 80 or 90% of the disease on the planet, yet it is not applied. Does that mean we need to supply the Nations lawyers with arguments to bring massive class action lawsuits against the medical industrial complex and therefore the awareness of the methods?
I don’t know but it is a thought.
Whether we have a well managed transition or start from scratch doesn’t matter to me because I am not from here but I most certainly was born here just like everyone else so I have a good handle on the workings of this earth.
Love & Blessings
Richard
Sometimes I jest and sometimes I am Sirius, you will have to discern.
Everlasting Peace.
Amaranth,everlasting said the rose.
It was designed with Intention.
I can help with the global advertising campaign for Peace.
There are awareness campaigns that if mounted will quickly bring those in positions of power to the negotiating table and they will submit to reason.
Tis the season.
Why do keep Heaven at bay, we should usher it in with every thought and every action.

Mallika sorry the E key some how got switched with the A key while I was typing.
Oh, Mallika, thanks for the smiles and the warmth from your heart :):):) You're such a mommy... Good luck tomorrow!
Richard, that's great work you're doing, keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback Aurora, it is the words of support that do the most to bring Peace and Heaven to the earth and in it you are being the cause of the effect we call Peace.
When we support our Self in every point of view from every point view we build the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
Dear Mallika,
Conference aside, just for today :)
Children grow fast. It is wonderful to hear that you delight in being a Mom, and your children need you, to be Present at this early age. Isn't it fun, and yes, at times, oh so exhausting.
Blessings on this venture for the New Alliance. I look forward to hearing more from you and the others attending!
~~ Kate
Richard, I love what you say - about Heaven, we mustn't 'keep it at bay'. Only non-awareness makes this happen.
Kristin, I too find, as many times as I have travelled, and places I have seen - its the ones I have been with, and the moments we shared, that I remember and treasure most.
Aurora,
You are lovely.
North,
You are in the category of Amazing Mom, extraordinaire. Your son is blessed.
Thanks for the heart and sharing you show us everyday.
mallika,
all ur posts have so much warmth and love ...
keep us updated abt the conference
Mallika Mom,
Reminds me of Calvin's mom...
As part of the old world theatre festival here (IHC - Delhi) there was a play (shakkar ke panch Dane) by Manav Kaul (writer/director) wherein the character (played by Kumud Mishra) describes his mom:
" I felt our lives were like a small boat with holes in it, mom was the one who kept throwing the water out with her "mugga" (mug)and kept a keen watch over the boat; some day I'll take away the mug from her frail hands and throw it out..."
have a great time..
regards

Richard, I love your humour, from Sirius or not you're certainly in touch with the Self. I was in a hurry this morning, but I do want to thank you and everyone else for working so passionately for peace, in the way that your heart tells you to. We all need support to be able to express more fully this strong intent that flows through us. We can call it Love, Inspiration, Intent, Evolution, Light... whatever we call it and however it expresses itself through us, its power fills every empty vessel. So, good luck everyone and thank you!
(((Kate))), you too :)
Dear Mallika,
The following is a little about one of my favorite books...it was done as a performance here at the Kennedy Center....Even adults can have bad days too.....Enjoy the rest of the trip. Laughter is the best medicine.... Love, Joanie
Author Judith Viorst, in alliance with the nation’s center for the performing arts, tackled a new challenge in taking her beloved characters from Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day from the page to stages across the country.
From the moment he wakes up with gum in his hair, things just do not go Alexander's way. At breakfast, Alexander's brothers Nick and Anthony reach into their cereal boxes and pull out amazing prizes, while all Alexander ends up with is . . . cereal. The situation does not get any better at school, in fact it gets worse. No wonder Alexander wants to move to Australia! In Australia, everything is upside down, so maybe a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day can become a wonderful, terrific, really good day. After school, Alexander encounters even more bad news when he visits the dentist and goes shopping for sneakers with his mother and brothers. And Alexander's father isn't at all happy with him when the boys visit his office and Alexander gets a little carried away with the new copying machine! This terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day is enough to make anyone want to go to Australia!
"I’m thrilled to have another opportunity to share Alexander with so many children. I hope that both young and old will learn and laugh together," said Viorst. "And, most of all, I hope they will have a wonderful, marvelous, fabulous, very good day."
Hi Mallika, there is no contact information yet so I'm writing this here. There are people on the blog who would like to send Reiki to those who need it. Is there a way we could have a Reiki section somewhere, with the adresses of those willing to send healing, so that anyone can make a request when they need it?
Hi Mallika, brought back memories of times when my daughters were small. Brautiful. Have fun in Puerto Rico.God bless you,Tara and Leela.
Most think, they are blessed with being given the gift itself, called Life.
To a Mom/Dad; the gift, is giving breath of life; to another being, expanding God/Universe/Creator eternal; always forward and evolving, generation to generation, through each of us. soOo cooL.
K, thanks for the nod, and backatcha; WE are the Blessed one's through our special children K; they have taught us much about everything, more than we anticipated, more as we go along.
My son, has given ME< tonight; a Mommy' Moment!!
tonight, my seventeen year old son; brings a girl home, to meet Mom! eeeeeeeek! IS today here, already? I been teasing him for days; on how I'm going to "act" with her; and we are roaring laughing, at my suggestions, taken from hilarious movies on the subject. lol
and so, tonight; I am tummy-filled with nervous butterflies; giggling with anticipation b/c I know my son is extremely nervous...ahaahah,,,I am sooOo mean! We tease each other relentlessly! lol
OK< must go get a beauty nap now; have ONLY 3-4 hours, to go.
tonight, I will see the magic of youth again; through the eyes of these two! lol
Love to All, and all to Love,
North
Butterflies on this blog are good luck North! Hope the "introduction" went well. Its fun to see our kid grow up. Hopefully they take what we have taught them and turn them into magical moments for themselves in healthy relationships!
Love, Joanie
Dear Ms. Chopra,
I have stumbled across your inspiring book and truly appreciate this contribution to all who have been a child or a parent -- I think humanity should feel a wonderful ripple effect from this statement of love.
Keep up the great work,
Hannah
