2006 Bloggies Awards

Vijay Sappani - January 06, 2006

Nominations for the sixth annual bloggies awards will start on January 10th, 2006.

The 2006 bloggies awards are here. Take a moment to read the rules, learn about the procedures for selection of winners and try to nominate and vote strategically for Intent. The bloggies is one of most respected weblog awards.

Do you think we should start our own Intent awards on the catergories we have and open it up to our participants too. We can create awards into two sections, one on blogs and another on participants, like best comments, most comments by a participant etc.

Any thoughts?

Wonderful idea, Vijay for IntentBlog!

I didn't know blog-awards existed(blush.)

Hmm, could spark a pandemic of inspiring future posts by everyone!

North

I'm down with the plan!
With Passion!
Ps. definitly my vote!
Ps. what exactly is the pan...? ;)

I would rather prefer an award for actions from this blog and not just for blog.

We have been blogging for the past 50+ years. Its time that we do something.

Yogi Selliah.

good point Yogi,
(not that edu-taining the kids isn't fun ;)
I sure do volunteer for any mission with al the here, fine folks, experience onboard in all the
social themes on the blogs, aswell some legal, and family (esoterics) business,

Love, Passion!

Yogi,
Can you explain more on this-
"actions from this blog and not just for blog."
I think you are trying to refer to change in life that blogs brings. I'm going to be a doing a few blogs on issues I'm working in India and will use Intent as a medium to generate ideas twoards impelementation. These ideas will be made into a document and sent to the respective department in the government.

I think you are suggesting more than that. Throw your thoughts and lets learn from it.
Cheers!
VJ

Dear Vijay,
Good idea. So when are you giving me the award? (wink) And will my picture get published on the cover of Time too? LOL.

Cheers!
Navin

;)
Now, now, Navin.., hold your horses, dude..that
Spamm-yo'fanny off-award has my name written all over it! ;) besides giving lectures, 'emancipated' stand-up comedy, this
little gentleman did, what no reasonable smurf, would ever get into his blue mind; ic. try to get me some sweet cherry's?, dil's, el's, to name a few and witchever applepie crossed a blog..

Now that's award winning strategic thinking!
if you ask me, but offcourse, that too is highly
subjective and relative...;)

With Love, Passion and a smile ;)

Marek, buds,
If you ever get nominated, you can be sure of at least three votes. That of Cherry's, Diablo's and mine! I promise I'll vote for you. ;)

Cheers!
Navin

Not like the -hit on a girl- through intent,
was the most succesfull's of all brilliant ideas, but, the intent was there, on intent.;)

and the girls mentioned, sure will remember,
my polish name..;)

Make 'em crazy, the women!
that's what we do, must be a polish thing..

With Love, Passion!

Tnx, bud, appriciate that, but just for the record, like I spammed before, I don't do pseudoniems, I'm the one and only, original and authentic, blue as a polish playboy smurf can be, M to tha D and the P, and no Diablo's, Cherry's nor whatever (except a Tinkerbell helping out, Yoda dispensing some wisdom, and a peter pan in some first blogs) are characters of my fabrication, you may take me to court 'bout that, blue may be, but integrity's a must,
nevertheless, I do must say, checking some (indian) site's over the blogs, can we get some Idian sweet pie contest, por favor? I'm always in for some..;)

With Love, Passion,

Dear Marek,
I knew the characters who are figments of your imagination.(wink)Was just pulling your leg. Thank you for confessing, you must be feeling much better and lighter. :)
If you are interested in Indian beauties, here is the URL of a Beauty Pageant (Miss India). Go here: http://feminamissindia.indiatimes.com/

Good luck and cheers!
Navin

huh..? what 'confesion'..? navin,
i'm bloody serious dude!, Diablo, Cherry, and whoever, ARE NOT ME, NOR ARE OF MINE FABRICATION!!
glad that we have that straighted out, now,
the important things in life, the..
nice, idian pie, dude, looks a bit like catherina zeta jones-ish, are they all into spiritual things, (like the kama.., of the sutra and all.. or does one need to instruct first, and cook later..? :)

With love, passion

LOL Marek,
I have no idea! Though I find Catherine Zeta Jones very attractive too. Good taste. ;)

Cheers!
Navin

Vijay Sappani,

Great idea. What would be the categories? Here are some of my suggestions:

The most delicious Cherry Picking award
The most desirable Cheese Cake award
The delicious Peach-Beach award
The Spamming Whammy award

I think Marek can further add to this list. He is brilliant with (W)hole-Soul Searching ideas!

I wish you success
Tanzan Senzaki

love, Passion

Marek bro, thanks.
I kinda stay away from "religion". LOL. Time for me to hit the sack. But Shekhar, the insomniac is here. Trying engaging him in some "religion" talk (wink). He has a great eye for spotting beautiful women. He was the first one to spot Preity Zinta! Now, don't ask me who she is. Google her pics. I am outta here,

Cheers and good night,
Navin

Ah, my Cherry..baby..'you've been too good for me -Award,-it's that you have a boyfriend, otherwise I'd sue your, booty-licious, for not giving me a picture to dream a little dream..
of you..
and..
Love & Passion,

"cater you at home, dear? -Award (you gotta tease the ladies, Tanzan, you never what it's good for ;)" ~marek dariusz podsiadlo

You crack me up, man.

***

teasing the ladies here
what good are they worth for
O man, O man, you do not know them
how black-hearted they are

Except for some rare cherry pie
or a piece of fresh cheese-cake
they are mostly curry eating type
wholly, fully, totally fake

conniving, deceptive, threatening
making others' their mouth pieces
they are in secret planning
to bring you always down, down

they are not the consenting kind
evil spirits are on their mind
hiding behind their spiritual masks
rotten spirits in them you'll find

Like Kali Devi - that black goddess
they carry knives in their hands
spewing venom everywhere
they make their own bands

God bless Kali Devi
God bless mother Durga Devi
God bless Shiva's wife Parvati
God bless learned Saraswati

I will not touch any women here
With a thousand foot long pole
But I will let them chatter on any matter
I will let them always leave alone.

Regards, respect
Tanzan Senzaki

PS: Here does not mean IntentBlog here. Women here does not mean women at IntentBlog or any where. It is just a noun in plural of woman. Some imaginary women of some imaginary place provoking some imaginary ideas in the imaginary (virtual) world of the Internet kind!

Kali, Durga, Parvati, Saraswati are very prominent and loved goddesses in Hindu religion - pardon me,
in Hindu way of life. As I recently learned, there is no Hindu religion. Just a Hindu way of life!

Dear Tanzan,
Glad to be working on your humor bone, we're here
to serve, and to crank a smile,
but, now, the babysitter in me does question your age, T, because, let me dispense you some words of wisdom about women, life's long experience(s), I should charge you for it, it is priceless, pay attention..here it comes...are you ready..? really?..> women are clueless!
got that? again, women are clueless!
no kidding,
that is a fact, of life, that and, my fanny may
be blue, but in spituality, there is nothing more important than love, and this gentlemen,
doesn't do less than gold, let me rephrase that:
platinum!, gold is just good, I mean excellent or
outstanding piece of female, and no Krishna's milkmaid's..;)

There, another Blog, another lecture,

women..why can't a guy just sue..whould sure smoothen things enormously...

Dreamin of..
Love, Passion!! (and polish dreams..;)

Dear Marek, I accept my award from you with a full, humble and content heart, knowing I am only your reflection, oh wonderful warm one.

North

Shar Rukh Khan should get it!
He posted ONLY one post on intentblog and poooof...280 replies.
Ahahaha...if it was him!

Cinda

I can announce the winner of most comments category right now.

It is marek :-)

"I can announce the winner of most comments category right now.
It is marek :-)" ~Krish

And I would second it by saying he is the most brilliant of all the commentators here in his own way.

TS

So he wins both the categories :-)

"So he wins both the categories :-)" ~Krish

The problem is most of the commentators will vote for themselves. No body in the world could be more intelligent than them! Ego is bery bery bad for every one, except for themselves!

TS

LOL,
Between a laugh and a tear..
Love, Passion! and the noble prize for The Path To Love! (i don't know anybody else here ;)

Vijay -- long time no see -- are you still in Toronto?

Open Letter To George W. Bush.

Dear President Bush,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I learned a great deal from you and understand why you would propose and support a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage.
As you said, "in the eyes of God marriage is based between a man a woman." I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Laws and how to follow them.

1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanness (Lev. 15:19-24). The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is, my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it?

6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there "degrees" of abomination? Oh, sorry. IS there degrees.

7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle-room here?

8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blasphemes lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them (Lev. 24:10-16)? Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws (Lev. 20:14)?

I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help.

Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Hey Raj!
