A safe departure from Patriot Hills

Hello Everyone!
I have great news. Gautam has safely departed from Patriot Hills in Antarctica and should be back in business tomorrow. Yay!
When we spoke, I didn't get much out of him because he was completely exhausted and running towards a nice warm shower and comfortable bed to get some shut eye. But he did manage to say that as while he was departing from Patriot Hills, his final glance back at the icey blue home away from home was bitter sweet.

Becca: Thank you so much for all of your updates.
It is amazing to consider what a different reality that Gautam has been in--compared to ours, and the "unreality" I felt while listening to the State of the Union address tonite.
What a "shell shock" it will be for Gautam to return to the clamor and senseless pursuits our "modern world" considers so important.

In any regard, great to hear Gautam is moving ever-forward on this fantastic journey!!
