Quick: Get your bombs in!

There are now only a few short hours left to get your licks in if you play for either Hezbollah or the IDF as the UN approved cease-fire kicks in soon! Time is of the essence to fire off a rocket, perhaps get lucky and hit a school in Northern Israel if your an Islamic militant. Alternatively, there's still a chance for the IDF to launch so-called precision guided missiles and destroy an entire Lebanese neighborhood on the off chance that you'll nail a miltant.
If you don't get your licks in, not to worry too much. For chances are that this flimsy cease fire will only last a few days - maybe even a few hours if the two extremist sides have their way. It doesn't take much for either side really to break the peace so hoard your rockets and missiles, get some rest, and come back to the sandbox in a few days, boys. There's a very good chance you'll be able to get your rocks off.
Whoa - I just heard the headline on CNN. We're down to 90 minutes. I've kind of got butterflies! It's almost like the World Cup! There's still a chance to inflict casualties. Let's say for every ten dudes killed, one is actually an active militant. There's a lot of room to improve that ration - GO FOR IT!!!
Fortunately if this silly and boring cease fire does endure, we have other calamities to cover and provide entertainment. Iraq is no danger of a cease fire. Pakistani terrorists have definitely created enough paranoia to take us through the week and if you want go a little less mainstream, tune into the the war in Sri Lanka, where the LTTE and government forces are locked in their violent skirmish - kind of the cable version of war.
Is it me or is it just weird the way we have institutionalized war? Time-limits? Seriously? Screw it - just to talk about it would waste valuable time! 83 minutes left!!!!!

I stayed away from news channels and websites through the weekend for some peace of mind. Nope, did not work!
The reality lurks in the background like an obvious villain in the 50s films.

Gotham, I hope you are wrong and sanity, common sense and Peace prevail. I am trying to stay away from all news as I can not stomach all this violence and the talk of wars. Take care. Did you see" the naked dude"??( Gomateshwara in Lena's lingo.)God bless.

After a long wait finally the day come when ganguly-the royal Bengal tiger was selected on the 9 th of august in probable 30 players selected for mini world cup to be held in September.
The selection of “dada” came with a surprise &joy for the supporters of sourav.
SURPRISE because he was not performing well in the recent time
And now he is taken the probables players but at that time when he was performing well in INTERNATINAL CRICKET at that time he was ignored by the selectors this may be due to his rivalrie with
COACH GREG CHAPPEL .
BUT now when he is not performing well in CRICKET then also he is taken in Indian cricket. What is the reason behind it………
What I think is that the ongoing politics in BCCI . from the time when ganguly write an E-mail against MR Jag Mohan Dalmiya regarding the Bengal cricket elections after that it was considered that now ganguly will come back in Indian cricket team because he is not in the so called “DALMIYA CAMP”
And now his slection in probable 30 indicates the politics of bcci which do not consider the performance of the player but just their rivalrie and friendship with other persons.
If this continues with Indian cricket team then that time is not far when our cricket will have no sports spirit and they will just have politics politics and politics in their attitude.
