Kabbalah Centre puts the Kibosh on Kabala Billboard
The Kabbalah Centre in Beverly Hills ordered Clear Channel to remove
our billboard on Robertson Blvd for "Ask The Kabala," a beginner's guide to Kabala. The billboard was up for just one day before the Centre had it removed, claiming that the building was owned by one of it's affiliates.
It's troublesome that the Centre wants an exclusive path to the wisdom of this ancient, spiritual practice. It seems to be we should be encouraging as many people as possible to tap into the wisdom of Kabala.
In a Karmic twist of fate, the new location of the billboard on busy Olympic Blvd ensures that millions of additional people will be exposed to Kabala alternatives, not less, as some at the Centre had hoped.

Hello Zappy and Everyone,
From what I have read and I did watch a special on TV on the Kabbalah Center and it seems since this Center is doing quite well, financially and it's popularity has soared since many Hollywood personalities have put it on the "spiritual map," I would think it is just protecting it's "spiritual turf," after all, business is business, whether it is GOD business or show
business. I do not know if they were wanting to be the exclusive path to kabbalah teachings, I think they were just telling you to get out their neighborhood and off their turf. I know this is hard coming from the mouths of the "spiritual" but ya gatta do what ya gatta do to guard your turf!
sorry, I think it is more amusing than disturbing.

I take it as a "sign" that god is angry, that human beings continue to profiteer and exploit for profit, using "His Name" rather than preach and live "doing" god's work, on the streets with the lowest of the low. Is it not the lowest.. god wants lifted? God does not want to lift a heavy-laden with wealth.. rich man. WE all know this to be true about "god."

god did not say make money, and build temples to collect money.. in His name. No wonder god turns away from us.... we have all corrupted ourselves.
