4:05am…Whom I have chosen to Love is the most naked confession of my soul.
My choices are a demonstrative measure of my very own self-worth. Love is at the heart of human life…one of the things truly shared by all since the dawn of time. People that have ever known proper Life have certainly known Love. Its music has filled the ears and passion of entire civilizations that have never known of the other’s existence. Its novel has captured the imaginations of Past's most creative smile-makers.
4:35am...I’m thinking about the strangers who write to me. One went on…and-on-and-on…wondering why I “get along with him so well”. I ask myself what on earth do I have in common with them …for the answer to become obvious: Love. It is our axiomatic common ground because it is our common ideology…our common language. It is what we, both me and my stranger-friends, want so much in Life. It is what we both live and search for with a level enthusiasm that, speaking for myself, I sometimes fear.
5:00am…I have a confession…
…I Love what I talk about.
Is that bad? Depends on what I’m talking about I suppose…but I usually talk about what I value. Whenever I am near what I Love, I usually feel at home with my true nature and my true self...if my values are good one I usually feel attractive.
5:15am…Why is Love talked about as if each of us Love and value the same thing—as if Love is the "Man with the Yellow Hat" or something…?
5:54am…What do I Love? What do I Love? WHAT DO I LOVE? …what am I talking about? What am I honestly trying to say here? What do I mean…when I ask “What do I Love?”
6:00am…I am starting to think that Love is not a “What” at all. If it were, I probably never would have found it. Love seems more to be an orientation…an orientation in the direction of the very dialogue I have both with myself and those whom I choose to be close to.
6:10am…
Sex = Children
Sex + Love = Children that thrive!

Dear Saira,
Confession is good for the soul.
Not at the expense of another, but for real chance at communication, discovery and growth.
My 'take' on Love is, it's in the fabric of my being - so fresh, delightful, captivating, and - wonderful,
it must be experienced
daily,
moment
by moment,
ever more delightful,
when love's embrace
sighs and
caresses
enfold me completely.
Love and Blessings,
~ Kate
Hello Stranger,
Thanks for making your diary open to strangers. ;)
Glad to know that you've found love. That means you've found God.
Cheers!
Navin
PS: I haven't watched KANK yet, but maybe I'll watch it to check you out.
Saira: A very fun blog, the way you laid it out!
I've come "to love" that reversal of looking at life in the manner that does not as much ask: What is Love, or What is God; but rather, "What is not Love, and/or, What is not God," no matter how much to the contrary that appearances dictate otherwise!?
It's nice to have you join in the Intentblog's continuing evolution--Dave
The meaning of love is different for everyone there are different dynamics of love: love between a mother and child, a man and a woman, between partners; between friends..however, in essence love is the same in all these relationships. For me, being in love is all knowing, all consuming passion..that's how I know I am in love.....love is feeling that part of you is missing without the other, its when you miss someone so much it hurts..its when the love someone gives you unconditionally makes you believe you can do anything, anyhow, be whatever you want.....yes, perhaps its obvious that I am in love...and what a europhic state it is to be in...nothing else in life is important.....only the knowledge that you are loved and that you love someone...:-)
Dear Saira
Beautiful Post.
We choose to love as we make a choice
We can love if we have someone to love
You are an open book. Your website is cool. So is your open diary. Just one personal question; did anyone hurt your emotions without him/her feeling guilty of their actions? If they did, do you have any lingering feeling of that hurt somewhere in you, which makes you insecure?
SONNET 154
The little Love-god lying once asleep
Laid by his side his heart-inflaming brand,
Whilst many nymphs that vow'd chaste life to keep
Came tripping by; but in her maiden hand
The fairest votary took up that fire
Which many legions of true hearts had warm'd;
And so the general of hot desire
Was sleeping by a virgin hand disarm'd.
This brand she quenched in a cool well by,
Which from Love's fire took heat perpetual,
Growing a bath and healthful remedy
For men diseased; but I, my mistress' thrall,
Came there for cure, and this by that I prove,
Love's fire heats water, water cools not love.
Saira,
I know how you feel when it comes to questions.
Sometimes the freight train of thoughts has an
over-loaded cargo that it carefully needs to unload.
We stand there to take each question, one at a time.
The only effective way to receive the whole shipment
is to send every question on it's way to it's
pre-determined destination.
First we inspect the question for flaws or
mis-handling then right away we pass it on because
there are more to bring in and our time is limited.
Sometimes all the packages are completely different shapes.
Sometimes they are light, sometimes...very heavy!
Sometimes we take the wrappings home,
leaving what's inside behind us
and walking away with answers.
Ship's away! Keith~
Love that website of yours, very beautifull,

Great post! WE wonder at the aspects of love in our lives, when truthfully; we are in the lives of love.
Saira,
In college I wore a perfume called Ciara. I LOVED it! I share your LOVE of the senses and send LOVING scentiments to ALL!
Fantastic post/website/music/content/you.
Love is not a What....it is a Way, hey?
Gracias.
Hi Saira,
I always answered that question.
Love is seeing one's Self in others.
There is love of character, love of experience, and love of Self.
We love not the thing, but it's essence, which is that which is beyond words.
It's easy to see one's self in you, leaving one wanting to know your essence.....
Dear Saira,
You are so creative. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on love here. Your site, art works and photos are beautiful. I liked your album even more that the glossy magazine covers.
It's interesting to see how your paintings go from abstract, to figurative and to conceptual in one breath.
Dear C,
I liked your Sonnet 154.
Love,
Donatella
From fairest creatures we desire increase,
That thereby beauty's rose might never die,
But as the riper should by time decease,
His tender heir might bear his memory:
But thou contracted to thine own bright eyes,
Feed'st thy light's flame with self-substantial fuel,
Making a famine where abundance lies,
Thy self thy foe, to thy sweet self too cruel:
Thou that art now the world's fresh ornament,
And only herald to the gaudy spring,
Within thine own bud buriest thy content,
And, tender churl, mak'st waste in niggarding:
Pity the world, or else this glutton be,
To eat the world's due, by the grave and thee.
So you are trying to arrive at a defenition for the most used and abused word of the dictionary.
Love is a unique blend of a varied gamut of feelings and emotions.
The perception of this blend has a time bound progression
That's awesome!!! Ya!
I loved what you said on your website about having no expectations and when two people who meet without expectation...it is wonderful.
Enjoyed your blog...were you having trouble sleeping...it is amazing sometimes what we think of when we can not sleep.
I share the following poem I just wrote after seeing the upcoming moon last night..I was so tired and my mind was racing, so had to write....enjoy all...
Full Circle
The moon is a funny thing.
It represents life in many ways.
Sometimes one does not see the full picture, amongst the clouds that get in the way.
The perfect circle is there, but hard to see.
If you don’t see it the first time, there is still another chance.
We begin this life in a full circle bonded by our mother’s womb.
We leave this world after the circle of life plays it course on to new beginnings, the other sides of ends.
Like the cycle of the moon, life’s ever changing light.
Beginnings are the other sides of ends, constant, throughout life and thereon.
The moon and it’s beauty, lighting up the sky making one pay attention, stopping, slowing down and engaging.
The moon represents the oneness in our world, where everyone has the ability to see wherever one might be, standing still in time.
The clouds might be blocking the view but our minds see it clearly.
The corners of the earth, and a moon, reflecting on our souls with light, love, beauty and the full circle
Of life.
Ah love! Without knowing its being is like living in utter darkness and without tomorrow. However, I did not know this darkness that I speak about during the time when I was under its roof. With the wondrous awakening and opening of oneself to what is fearful, to what is unknown, is when one opens to this form of infinite possibilities. Some call it bliss, some call it whatever name. It is love, I would soon realize. And I am glad to be reading this author's thoughts. Best wishes my friend and welcome to the embrace of life itself. For knowing and learning about love is not enough...it is to live it everyday...try as we must...how scary it could be...but one thing I could say, no matter how scary it seems, if one look at the one you love will answer every moment of doubt and fear, remember to take heed...most especially if this site before you makes you listen to your soul sing! :-)
Saira,
im thinking whether i was one of those people whose e-mail you read at 04.35am :)

mystical express...my choices are a demonstrative measure of my self worth...wow!!
yeah..love is the intrinsic web of connectedness that binds us all, not activity or person specific..
Saira Mohan, welcome to IB. Here are some lines from Dr Deepak Chopra's writings about the subject LOVE that begin with the letter A.
All love is based on the search for spirit.
Although it happens spontaneously, falling in love is not accidental.
At every moment your life has been about love.
All the most valuable things, including love must come to us spontaneously.
Asking for love is one of the most difficult things for any one to risk, and by risking it first in your heart, you open a door that will never close again.
As you ascend your love will turn to ecstasy.
A perfect courtship unfolds like a flower.
All of us must discover that love is a force as real as gravity and being upheld in love every day, every hour, every minute is intended as our natural state.
Awareness can be shared. What God gives you out of love, you can give to some one you love.
As you begin to heed spirit, you can only increase in love.
Ascending is a process, like falling in love or being in relationship.
All the most valuable things in life love compassion, beauty, forgiveness, inspiration must come to us spontaneously.
Any desire to grow is following the flow of love.
Action that does not bind comes directly from love
Thank you Saira.
WHAT IS LOVE ??
Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen. It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification.
NICE TO SEE YOU STILL HAVE IT !!
