Sounds like a carnivores dream and a birds nightmare. The use of mustard glaze would require a mountain of faith. Pineapple helps break down proteins into their base amino acids, assisting in digestion. It contains bromelain which is an enzyme (nanomachinery for molecular disassembly).
Richard,
You are hilarious..every the scientist..mustard glaze and pineapple..sounds a bit susupect-lol!! Stil, who am I to judge..ha,ha
Thanks Vikas!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
with loving kindness,
North
Happy Turkey Day to you, Vikas. Last week I had roasted chicken stuffed and glazed with tangerines. It was hmmmmm.......good....so the pineapple glaze and lemon stuff sounds appealing and dreamy to me. If you don't want to give your bird a nightmare....perhaps you should think of tastefully tandooring the turkey...either way they get gobbled up....
Your turkey recipe has got me excited for Thanksgiving.
I am planning to cook turkey for the first time.....for a big family.... interesting recipe !
Could you please give me tips on cooking times and temperatures if I use a 20lb turkey. his sounds so deliscous!
I have been cooking turkey for 33 years and am always looking for fresh new takes on the recipes
Thanks Abhi for showing us all this recipe in the office
What a plethora of tips and information
Just the stuff you wish someone would advise you on when cooking turkey, it can be quite complicated
I hope my recipe turns out just as beautifully done as yours
Happy Thankgiving
Hey Kamini, I love "Brussels" Sprouts covered in Turkey Gravy how about you?
Hey Vikas great instructional cooking video, I like your cooking watch.
I would love to see the preparation of...
Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia
Spaghetti with Squid Ink
I bet that would be a hit on You Tube.
Happy Giving Thanks Day to everyone.
Excellent tip on roasting turkey in sheet pan
HAve always faced the problem of an overly dry turkey
Sheet pan is highly convenient
I always get nervous at thanksgiving time
One recipe I love is that of Cranberry apple sauce and this year I intend to make it even though my husband and children don't care for it much
My wife and I just had our first baby and this is his first thanksgiving
So we are having the family over
I am the brave one who has to cook the turkey dinner as my wife has her hands full
I have a question
How big a turkey do you need for 18-20 peole and also could I make it a day in advance just to avoid confusion what with the baby and all
Thanks

Hi Vikas,
Thank you for the thanksgiving wishes, and for a nice video.
I won't be having any turkey tomorrow. I will try for a spicy vegetable dish, potatoes, and ... definitely, some pie!
Love,
~ Kate

What I would like to learn are the low fat recipes for the thanksgiving dinner
- Charles
Actually Charles, Turkey is great in protein and in Vitamin B and Cranberries are the best source of Vitamin c
Just make a low fat gravy and stuffing of vegetables and you are ready to go
Thanks for this recipe
Hi All,
This is my first thanks giving in america as I recently got married and moved here
I am invited to a dinner tomorrow night
I am really looking forward to it
I am looking fo some not so complicated recipe for a thanks giving dish which I can take with me

Dear Ruchi
You can make something non-traditional, something you love from your own family's traditions -- people love new things mixed in with the old. Your hosts may already have most of the traditional bases covered. (To be very safe, a tin or basket of dried fruits and nuts, helps with digestion, is colorful and welcome, for before and after dinner. If you plan to bring nuts, check with the host or hostess, to make sure no one has nut allergies, which can be completely deadly, thank God they're also very rare.)
love, Haeth
Than You so much Haeth, it can be a little difficult
In India, for our festival Diwali, we usually exchange gifts of dried fruits and nuts, this sounds like afamiliar situation and makes me so much more comfortable
I am so glad I visited this space and asked for suggestions
A veryHappy thanks Giving to you Haeth
Dear Ruchi

Hi Ruchi and Heath
Its amazing how the thanksgiving spirit just envelopes our hearts and souls
Thanks to Vikas for bringing Thanksgiving to Intentblog
I heard and my heart pounded,
my lips quivered at the sound;
decay crept into my bones,
and my legs trembled.
Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity
to come on the nation invading us.
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
WE SHOULD THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING THAT WE HAD, HAVE NOW AND WILL HAVE.
ALSO, ULTIMATELY, WE SHOULD THANK JESUS FOR THE CROSS THAT GIVE US ETERNAL LIFE
WE SHOUD THANK THANK THANK AND PRAISE OUR GOD AS HABAKKUK DID UPTHERE!!
