...something that you suspect is probably true regarding life, but that you cannot prove is true. I'll start:
"In order to become successful in your chosen vocation, you first need to become scared."

so what is the connection with the big glamorous flattering photograph u have pasted of yourself with what you are trying to say?
Lovely pic of you with child!! you look quite content, in motherhood Saira!
I am unsure how to answer your post; but, just wanted to mention, your pic is awesome!!
When is your baby due?
with loving kindness,
North
love the pic...
in this yearning where I am...
a trembling...
breathing inside of me...
oh this image ...
of a white house ...
so very big
I wondered which room do I take???
does it matter???
oh look at me ...
flowing and free ...
a child of eternity...
unafraid ...
pure ...
reborn ...
in each breath...
that I am...
Saira, such a fantastic picture... :) It made me read: "I want everyone to share...their innermost secret"
Beautiful!
Here is another one: 'children are a reflection of their parents.' ...a cliche that is turning out to be so true that it's scary.
:)
I'd say it is an insight that is empowering. When we realize we are programmed, we can do something about it.
when in doubt, trust your first thought (or instinct) on that matter, long after your mind has convinced you otherwise.
With every day that now passes in my life, i am more and more sure its true.
Here's another Saira:
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
This is in the same sense of your children are a reflection of their parents...
with loving kindness,
North
When aware you can find doublespeak even in issues you care deeply about, not just the ones you can not tolerate.
Beautiful,
speechless..
Love, Passion,
"In order to become successful in your chosen vocation, you first need to become scared."
I don't think this statement is true. "Become scared" of what? Let me read your mind and complete your incomplete statement........maybe you wanted to say "In order to become successful in your chosen vocation, you first need to become scared OF FAILURE."
Pls confirm if this is what you meant to say. Only then a debate can start on this thread. At present, your question is too incoherent to elicit any answers.
Cheers!

de‧bate
Pronunciation[di-beyt] verb, -bat‧ed, -bat‧ing.
–noun
1. a discussion, as of a public question in an assembly, involving opposing viewpoints: a debate in the Senate on farm price supports.
2. a formal contest in which the affirmative and negative sides of a proposition are advocated by opposing speakers.
3. deliberation; consideration.
Perhaps comprehending Saira's post requires a certain level of intelligence, and the ability for abstract thinking.
Bang-on Richard!
For me, now that I re-read it; it means perhaps; that, to BE or DO our dream, our desire--and to nurture it's manifest; we must first face the fear of perhaps failure to comply with what it takes.. to take the plunge, and dive in an open realm of possibility?
Most people never or seldom achieve thier fullest potential; due to their non-training in childhood to adulthood; on how to "dive" into unknown territory of any regard... that is at first, intimidating.
WAs I close Saira..Richard?
I DID have to think on this...as I am not too great at abstract thought... drats too; as it looks rather fun and almost brain-teaser-like!
with loving kindness,
North
Artful sophisticated expression can be over analyzed at a loss true meaning.
Sometimes the spirits intention and resultant perceptions are not known to the writer.
God loves mystery that is why he became us.
Well North,
One must jump off the cliff, without wings, having faith that wings will grow later to feel the exhilaration. Trusting that if all fails there is always water below.
That is why non-attachement leads to success not found by those clinging in fear.
Saira simply asked...
"share something that you suspect is probably true regarding life, but that you cannot prove is true.
so one one might respond
"If we let go, everything will be okay"
a bird must let go of the branch to fly
The brain has an internal system clock that regulates for example the circadian rhythm. If we trusted it we would not need watches or alarm clocks.
So a lack of trust results in a loss of functionality.
Great ones Richard!!
I suppose, I do not mal-trust the rythym, so much as I try to control it; which I cannot; and of natural consequence... my life is disasterous... LOL
North you are not the only one, with spirtual awakening comes chaos, confusion, change, and disruption and then Peace.
I find most cliches to be completely true to life...such as "Birds of a feather..." Don't ubiquitious truisms turn you on too?
for the mysterious reason that holds true, for now, I am surrounded by many women who are with child...the teacher I work along side is due any day now, the teacher I worked along side last year is due in May (with twins), two other women on our staff are also pregnant...my husband's boss's wife is due tomorrow.
Saira, congratulations on your new sacred journey, if this is a current picture.
I find, reflecting inward for a place of contentedness and bringing forth the gift or talent one was born with, as seed, and nurturing it in the best way possible for growth...success, is "doing the best" One is capable of, with no comparison to others.
Cinda:)
Hi North!
Hi Cinda!! LTNS : )
wonderful solace in knowing I am not alone in this Richard... so many on-path with me.. so many far ahead, so many behind....
I feel like an universal sandwich!
Dear Saira,
Your post #13 didn't answer the question in my post #12. Instead, your ardent fan, Richard, comments on your behalf in an over-protective manner and gives more proof of his "level of intelligence, and the ability for abstract thinking". We all know what that level is. LOL.
And you are absolutely right about "birds of a feather flocking together". Just look at the two people who have posted the most number of posts on this thread (is that called spamming?) :)
Good luck with your pregnancy. Since I don't belong here, I'm outta here.
Cheers!

What is not to love ? ~A truism
they turn up in waves don't they, the truisms, memetic propagation.
Somebody should write "The Book of Trusims", best seller.... it would be. It is such a good idea I bet somebody already did.
Check it out, it doesn't exist! I checked with the great Oracle "Google" and it appears no one has written this book.
Perhaps it could be written collectively?
"The Book of Trusims"
but you know what, in a few days guess what site will show up if you tell someone to Google book of trusims in quotes ?
Hi Saira
Am still waiting for an answer on what your photograph has to do with this post?
You obviously have some ardent admirers such as Richard who are so taken in with your beauty in the photograph that they lose perspective but i am still confused....
what is exactly that your trying to say?
Yeah, I agree with SWAG-what does it mean? Are you pregnant? :-)
I don't think inorder to be successful you should be scared. Quite the contrary, you need to be driven and focussed and not even a little bit scared-you take risks.
Somebody sent me two Shers below- aren't they lovely and trusims me thinks....we need truisms in life, because that's what gets us through sometimes..cliches come from real life experiences that we can turn to for comfort...
'This is just the beginning, do not lose heart
Hang in there and see what transpires'
'I have begun walking on the distant road to love
Let us see what further adversities await me'
My compliments You are gorgeous, Angelique Maddona! Wishing you happy confinement I send you my love and blessings

Am still waiting for an answer
Check it out, it doesn't exist! I checked with

Which means there are no such thing as extraterrestrials.
