Religious people and especially Christians are already crying foul and scholars deride claims about the discovery of the lost tomb of Jesus. They don’t even want to see the evidence, they have faith it must be bogus!

The documentary comes from executive producer James Cameron and director Simcha Jacobovici and shows a few interesting facts about two ancient stone boxes that may have once contained the remains of Jesus and Mary Magdalena.

One of these religious “know it alls” just about had a nervous break down on Larry King on Monday night arguing “no credible evidence”!

Of course Christianity is full of credible evidence of virgin birth, walking on water and the existence of an omnipotent, supernatural God. Many Christians also know that the world is 10000 years old and evolution is a hoax.

For a scientific mind this is the pinnacle of hypocrisy!

Ron (BPR), where are you, we miss the big picture?

Political awareness post:

I thought this guy had a pretty good grip on where America is headed over the next few years. Check it out, it's not too long:

Chalmers Johnson: “Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Republic"
www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=07/02/27/1454229

Opening quote:

"Nemesis was the ancient Greek goddess of revenge, the punisher of hubris and arrogance in human beings. You may recall she is the one that led Narcissus to the pond and showed him his reflection, and he dove in and drowned. I chose the title, because it seems to me that she's present in our country right now, just waiting to make her -- to carry out her divine mission."

Have fun with it.

Dear Skeptisch, I felt the same way about the Christian reaction to this story. Although the find will always remain inconclusive, the claims the Church makes about Jesus the son of Joseph are soooo much more credible.

One of the great tragedies of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code is that it diluted and deminished some very important and real discoveries, such as the revelations of the Nag Hammadi find in 1945.

All heretic according to the church, of course.

I suppose Academy award Winner Al "Green" Gore and Nobel hopeful will get a pass on his hoggish home energy consumption, I guess he is a do as I say not as I do kind of guy:

"According to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, over the past two years the Gore family mansion in Nashville used about $1,000 worth of natural gas each month and about $1,200 worth of electricity each month Ñ 20 times the national average."

I would like to hear how this is not hypicritical,

Steve, whose electric bill is $18 a month.

sorry for the miss spell of hypocritical,

Steve

So now Skep you watch Larry King Live for your scientific discovery as presented by movie folk?

You can do better than that my friend,

Cheers and next week on Larry King Live, the singing Psychic!

Steve

Hello Everyone,

It is all the news, Al Gore uses 20x electricity, more than andyone else..you just can't get anything by Fox News!

I haven't been following it that closely but MSNBC reported, last night, in response to the Fox News Extra, about Al Gore's energy consumption, that it wasn't that out of line with other, similar homes in that area, in terms of energy consumption. Although, that is no excuse for Al to hog electricity. Shame on you Al!

What is more interesting is how much disdain the Fox Propaganda News Organization and the GOP, who they are propagandizing for, have toward Al Gore and his Global Warming Fame..I guess you could say these two entities are GREEN, yes, GREEN with jealousy!

It is like watching and listening to a jealous sibling or lover, they just can't help themselves.

Seriously, though, Americans have been listening to this kind of propaganda since 2000 and they really need to change the needle on their recordings. Americans are over the hype, they have experienced the GOP's policies', domestic and foreign, and voted them to have zero content with a devastating performance record(Iraq, Katrina, Iran, Health Care, Education, Debt) you name it they didn't do it.

Although, they do get an A+ in propaganda and smear campaining.

I think most Americans can weigh the importance of the message of Global Warming against Al Gore's extravagant energy consumption, and I do not think it takes away, at all, the fact that we know we effect our global envirnoment by how we live on and treat our earthly home. Most of us realize we do what little we can while not doing enough because one, we are kind of lazy, and spoiled, and, we really would rather have someone else do it for us, so we consume more than we should, waste more than we should, just like Al Gore.

Do we need to do more and do it better? Yes.

have a great day everyone, ruth

For those who don’t know, Larry King is an interviewer and occasionally he has some real kooks on his show.

The other day he even had a guy named Dennis Parger on.

amber...u and others who 'think' like u ...like a certain portly bigot...hate al gore to the gut...and it shows in ur unbridled cynicism...this guy can do nothing right in ur eyes...as far as the oscars...i didn't watch it...but at least they didn't steal it from him this time like they did in florida...damn...if albert was prez...i don't think we'd be in all the mess we are in right now...bush is a screwball who cant tell the dif between his anus and a hole in the ground...the spineless fence-sittin' dems must take a stand...if the can... against this nutbar before he does more damage to our country and the world...D...

I voted for Gore in 2000 little D. did you? The man couldn't even win his own state, how pathetic, and you have abosolutely no idea what he would have done after 9/11.

If he is going to be the spokesman for the world's Global whatever, why can't he figure a way to consume less energy? What does everyone say around here "Be the change" so I don't think I'm asking for too much D.

You mean Dennis Prager right or maybe it was Dennis Parger, whoever he is.

Sorry Steve, that's the guy!

Dear yogi-one, the problem could be that Narcissus was a human. He was not a programmed robot.

So, maybe her mission is not going to work this time.

Can robots look at themselves and truly see something with human eyes? Huh...that is a question to ponder.

The robotization could have reached such level that not even a greek goddess can do something about it. Condiser this, it could be a lost case. :)

You made me smile, in and out, when I read your post ...have a great day.

YEEEEEEHAAWWWWW!! I see two standards here! I love it!

When the Rev. Ted Haggard, (or whatever his name was) was doing his gay thing, this group went apeshit...Mallika had all ten claws scratching! You know, he preached you go to hell if you're gay, but here he was banging gay guys! I'd call him a hypocrite too!

But here's the Loser, AlGore! He preaches, we're all gonna burn or drown if we don't slow consumption....but he'll use more in a year than I'll use in a lifetime! But it's OK...His hearts in the right place...it's up to us 'little' people to do it the right way...he's way too important to slow down his lifestyle!

Ambasteve...to answer your question as to whether or not Baby D voted for AlGore in 2000, no, he didn't. He may not have even been born yet, he's still in nursery school! The brazilian babes he's always blowing about? They're at the nursery school with him, he lives in an immigrant neighborhood....they're all just graduating diapers!

Ruth says: "I think most Americans can weigh the importance of the message of Global Warming against Al Gore's extravagant energy consumption, and I do not think it takes away, at all, the fact that we know we effect our global envirnoment by how we live ..." Maybe so Ruth, but if I run a radical campaign against smoking, then go outside and light up...is anyone gonna take the message seriously??

Hope everyone is having a great day! I'm ready for a little global warming here in KY! After a warm start to the winter, February was one of the coldest on record! I think my glacier started to refreeze...i'm so relieved!

the portly bigot....
norm

>>Invariably, remember what this means. Imperialism is a form of tyranny. It never rules through consent of the governed. It doesn't ask for the consent of the governed. We talk about the spread of democracy, but we're talking about the spread of democracy at the point of an assault rifle. That's a contradiction in terms. It doesn't work. Any self-respecting person being democratized in this manner starts thinking of retaliation. Nemesis becomes appropriate.
CHALMERS JOHNSON

Yogi-one, you are right own. What he says is brilliant because reality is put into words, and yet, it just is, it is based on simple facts.

Any adult person should know this by now just by rewinding their own life.

But it is so much more comforting to keep pretending that we do what we do to 'serve' others - "we are holistic, spiritual, loving kind, and have wonderful intentions."

Like Laura Bush said to Larry King the other day, the people of Iran needs our help.

How holistic, loving and kind! It should bring tears to our eyes.

Je suis désolé = i am sorry (french)
Lo siento = i am sorry (spanish)
Ik ben droevig = i am sad (Dutch)
Sono spiacente = i am sorry (italian)
Perdóname = forgive me (spanish)

I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say 'forgive me'
I've seen it all before
And I can't take it anymore...

amber...the portly racist is right...i was only 15 in november 2000...not quite old enough to vote...and flabs i do not live in an immigrant neighborhood...and if i did it wouldn't bother me.. maybe it would u and ur angus cows...which is why u live on a farm...btw...as a salesman... do u sell to immigrants?...also aren't we all immigrants to this country? and talking about brazilian babes..i am gonna fly to rio around the time u will be exposing ur sexy physique in st croix...and it's gonna be a party on the beach...with latin babes in birthday suits...would u like to stop by? i'll buy u a margarita or two...D.

whoahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

Hi All,

Norm writes,"When the Rev. Ted Haggard, (or whatever his name was) was doing his gay thing, this group went apeshit...Mallika had all ten claws scratching!

Norm, I think you need to go back and look that one up and read it again, I do not recall any claws scratching on Mallika's part. Now, the comments might have been rough but by golly gee whiz the man presents himself as one who is qualified to be a stand in for JESUS and the Bible, you know the Bible that states gays are sinners and bisexuals are double sinners. Al Gore's hypocrisy is a tad bit different.

you write,"Maybe so Ruth, but if I run a radical campaign against smoking, then go outside and light up...is anyone gonna take the message seriously??

No.

Now, I scratch my head over Al and Tipper's extravagant use of energy, one has to ask..whaaaaaaat? Stupid, is not out of the question, as an answer. But, polls, today, say his is up 4%. go figure.

Seriously, Al Gore is one voice when it comes to Global Warming but there are millions of other voices, more important, less famous than his.

have a wonder-full evening everyone, ruth

Alright! Good stuff here from our Intentblog family.

That link to that Chalmers Johnson interview is great Yogi!

Yeah . . ., antichristian MICC (and entertainment) so, MICCE, is indeed a most ungodly situation, I remember when they were talking about closing some bases, and the locals here in Spokane went nuts about the jobs and 'necessity' of having Fairchild Air Force Base here. As people all across the nation said much the same thing, 'oh, but these ways of war just provide so many job . . .'

We are in trouble people!

Down with this Antichrist American government!

O yeah!

Wow. It takes a lot of Gold to go Green. $2,200 per month. I hope the concentration camps for the little people with leaky cars have movie night.

Jean-Francois, dear, you do have a choice though!

You may shut your eyes and shut your ears... if only your poetic heart allowed you to.

Remember, it is not my fault that you don't have a robotic heart. So, I will NOT say...

perdao = i am sorry (portuguese) ;)

Re the Jesus Tomb. I have to say I was extremely skeptical about it all UNTIL they mentioned getting independent statisticians to calculate the odds of that cluster of names to be on the tomb as like 2 million to 1. the most conservative statistician gave it 600 to 1

this is massive. if you actually understand what statistics mean you'll conclude that this more or less proves beyond reasonable doubt that this is infact the tomb of jesus. literally the only other REASONABLE conclusion you can come to is that it's a hoax

what i loved most about this is how utterly ignorant the churchies are. 600 to 1 might as well mean 2 to 1 or 20 to 1 or a billion to 1. they only focus on the 1. "oh those names, they were the most common names back then" you dumb sh1t that doesn't matter! - 600 to ONE is what matters. there's more chance of Angola becoming world champions at ice hockey of this NOT being the tomb of jesus (provided it's not a hoax)

somebody needs to write a book on the psychology of people who ignore what's right in front of them cos it contradicts their world view

Stevesnz, refreshingly reasonable comment!

ref 24..wow..u mean to say that christians have been worshiping an idol...a dead guy ...for 2,000 yrs...now? wow...that must be depressin' for the honest believers...yo flabs...no wonder that ted haggard fag was leading a double standard...wow...maybe those skeptics are the smartest people around! wow! get laid, get hammered, have a good time in life now seems like a good motto...cause there is no hell to burn in after all..damn!

Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.

yo T..sorry to say it...but u do sound like a 'taostmistress' in the above remark...what have u been drinking today T?...is it cheap pints in a cabaret? damn...

Yo...............is my only comment.

Hi Tao,
I have the teapot on, want a cup?
Cheers,

Is the resurrection relevant?

Hey now,

Before we all jump on the gore-Gore bandwagon, let's check a few relevant facts:

for more complete info gp to:
"Talking Points on the Gore Pseudo-Scandal"
www.huffingtonpost.com/david-roberts/talking-points-on-the-gor_b_42335.html

The news story came from an entity called "The Tennessee Center for Policy Research". Never heard of it before? Well, don't feel alone, no one else has either since they didn't exist until very recently and consider these facts about them:

The Tennessee Tax Dept. does not consider the "Tennessee Center for Policy Research," which roughly no one had heard of before this, a legitimate group. It's run by a long-time right-wing attack hack, and its only registered address is a P.O. box.

As for Al Gore's energy usage, consider these facts:

- In his home, his per-square-foot usage is squarely average. The higher cost is because his home is bigger due to:

The Gores are not an average family. He's an ex-VP with special security arrangements, and has live-in security staff. He and his wife both work on their many business and charitable undertakings out of their house, so they have space for offices and office staff. All that would be tough to cram in an average size house.

Also relevant are these tidbits:
a. Gore buys the maximum allowable green electricity from the program offered by his utility.

b. Most of the electricity in TN comes from hydro and nuclear, and so doesn't generate all that much CO2 anyway.

As my dad used to warn me: "Figures don't lie, but liars can sure figure."

In this age of political mudslinging, sensational "scoops" have to be double-checked.

open thread about Christians/AlGore/Oscar...!!...

we had big news this week, Union Budget 2007-08
why no comments/discussion..!? are we so americanized so not-to-wrong about whatz happening at home??

Union Budget Highlights:
http://fuel2economy.blogspot.com/

Goodmorning Everyone,

yogi-one, thanks for the information. I suspect that many more of these organizations are going to pop up from now until November 2008.

you write,"As my dad used to warn me: "Figures don't lie, but liars can sure figure."

Love that!

have a great day everyone, ruth

Hi Everyone,

just wanted to add,

this organization, "The Tennessee Center for Policy Research" and others like it are created at the drop of a hat by the moneyhandlers for the GOP. I would suggest that the folks who hold dear to this particular manifestation of the GOP and I am talking specifically about the, Rove-Bush-Cheney-Bush-Rumsfled, need to really take a good hard look at who you are supporting and defending because it seems that their only great success is Smear Campaigning and their ability to put forth propaganda, whether it is for winning an election or to starting an unnecessary war, the lies roll of the tip of their tongues and into the lives of each and every American home.

A President does not protect and defend by the constant undermining of his Nation's laws and his peoples rights under it's Constitution.

The torture issue is one that Americans have been fortunate enough to be blissfully unaware of because of our laws and Constitution but people in other Nations have not been so lucky and what the American people do not realize it that our Government through it's covert intelligence agencies have often be willing and aggressive supporters of governments who use it as their means of getting control and holding power.

What has come to light because of Iraq in terms of the use of torture and the use of secret flights and the "disappearence" of suspects by our intelligence agents who are flown to other Nations for interrogations is something you supporters and every American need to be concerned about because if these men are allowed to nurture that mind-set then it can only be a few steps away from it happening in our own Nation.

You think these organizations are harmless("The Tennessee Center for Policy Research) but they are the mark of a very unhealty desire to win, to control, to influence the direction of the power hungry.

How far are they willing to go to make manifest their visions of this Nation? How far are they willing to go to win an election? How far are they willing to go to protect their idea of what American interests should be?

The smear, the undermining, the disregard of another's perspective is "just" an innocent strategy of political campaigning it is devastating serious attempt to have control.

How far are they willing to go?

have a great day everyone, ruth

correction,

should be,

The smear, the undermining, the disregard of another's perspective is not "just" an innocent strategy of political campaigning it is a devastatingly serious attempt to have control.

ref 33...u are a narrow-minded thinker dude?...the world has changed...stop thinking endemically...that's a mouthful...whoa!

is bushman the first insane prez in US history?

Diablo, my friend, if you are referring to my quote of Jesus from the Gospel of St Thomas, then I am only sorry that you didn't understand it.

I was just tagging on to poster #24 who says
"somebody needs to write a book on the psychology of people who ignore what's right in front of them cos it contradicts their world view"

The Jesus quote is quite profound to me. Put another way. If you cannot see that which is plainly before you, what chance of ever seeing the things that are hidden from you?

I knew there were no WMD's before anyone went into Iraq. The information was there for anyone. But it was concealed from you. Instead most people gave over their judgement to the so called authority of their leaders who lie to them for sport.

If however you are referring to the Nag Hamadi post much earlier, then again I am sorry that you don't understand the importance of that one.

But there is no obligation to agree with me. I rarely have views that are prevailing opinion.

Futur vs The past

Terminator saving Jesus...

Can you imagine objecting to Gore’s energy bill but not objecting to all the “energy” dropped, and still dropping, on Iraq!

Dear Taomaster,

You show integrity, strenght and open heart. This is what matters, not the prevailing opinion which unfortunately tends to be weak and opportunistic. I love your posts.

Dear yogi-one,

>>"Figures don't lie, but liars can sure figure."

If your dad warned you that way, it just tells me that he was a great guy.

censor test

Honestly I don't understand why some comments are held for review by the censors.

A bit frustrating.

I think Rudi Bogni provides some wisdom, especially the last paragraph.

Liquidity in the context I think we are speaking mostly comes from speculators, people trying to get rich without making an economic contribution.

As I have said before we need to shut down the c-a-s-i-n-o. The market place was never intended to be a c-a-s-i-n-o especially one where some of the tables can be fixed or manipulated or by having or creating foreknowledge some would have advantage over others.

The idea is one gets the return on their investment from dividends paid out over time. Not by playing speculation games, trying to get something for nothing.

This is why I think we should not tax dividends and increase taxes on gains from the sales of shares. Of course we would need to explore all the effects of this and how to implement it.

This I think would get rid of the short term unwise approach of attempting to get something for nothing.

Natural economics is very simple, we take out of the economic system equal to what we put into it. Everyone should have a vehicle by which they can contribute to the system. Those that are not provided a vehicle through which they can make an economic contribution should be provided for. It should be realized that thanks to technology that the amount of hours put in may be minimal allowing for much greater leisure time.

There is too much leakage in the system and those contributing to it can not extract equal to what they have put in, leaving the producers fighting over what is left. This creates an environment of insecurity, selfishness, fear, stress and struggle.

The economic system has leaks and we need to plug them up, the public sector is one of the biggest sources of currency devaluation and distorted allocation of wealth. This is where people are attempting to extract wealth from the system through means other than making a contribution of economic value.

Obviously I have been working on some novel solutions to the problems that don’t require legislation. New types of tangible asset backed currency and special energy units.

Also as for the United States creating so much debt, I plan to destroy the Illusion that governments have assets and liabilities. It is the citizens that own the assets and liabilities, government is just a structure. All citizens should receive a balance sheet showing their portion of the debt and assets. I think in the U.S all citizens owe about $40,000 each for debt acquired on their behalf by representatives in Government.

The other illusion is that governments make decisions or act. Government is a structure designed to allow the people to govern themselves. It should represent the intentions and will of the people. Currently Government Structure does not provide for this to the extent that it could, thanks to technology we can enhance the current structure so that it can.

Within government it is actually people, individuals with names that make these decisions, draw up the legislation and vote not “The Government” which is in it’s self an illusionary personage, if one looks at it as a single entity that makes decisions or acts.

Not some nameless non thinking intangible entity that can never be taken to task which is why so many use the label “Government”. This is why it is futile to blame the government. There is nothing there to take responsibility. We need to look to the names hiding behind the cloak of government using it for their own purposes to the detriment of the population, at least until the time that the Government structure succeeds in delivering the true will and intention of the people.

We need to make sure they are not acting on behalf of special interests or even worse illusionary perceptions, and the population needs a way to have their will and intention measured and authenticated so that the individuals in government (our servants) from the President (head of state) on down can have their performance measured against. To determine of they are indeed.

Obviously there are many things planned. However in prior analysis the new government systems will not work unless there is an independent media free from corporate, religious, and other special interests.

So this is the first element that will need to be dealt with. The creation of a new Independent “Free out of passion, Open Source Media” and an Independent Subscriber Based Media which amounts to a consumer operated and funded intelligence agency.

THE BIGGEST FLAW IN OUR SYSTEM

Is the ability to get something for nothing, to extract from the economic system without making a contribution of a product or service. This is the primary cause of economic imbalance.

The second problem is a lack of accountability and transparency in the public sector which leads to the devaluation of all currency in the private sector. The government must produce value, products and services equal to the energy it extracts from the economic system where appropriate.

It is my understanding that the government of the United States cannot account for over a trillion dollars which rounds out to about $10,000 per household. This money for all intent and purpose can be considered stolen, and needs to be accounted for and it needs to be returned back from wherever it went to.

Note: to blog adminstrators you should post a list of banned words so people know not to use them. This might eliminate a lot pf double postings. Took me a few minutes to figure out c-a-s-i-n-o is one of them.

Airline probe after extreme weather damages planes
AIRLINE officials launched an investigation yesterday after extreme temperatures threw schedules in the US Midwest into chaos by cracking the windshields of at least 13 planes at Denver Airport.

Two of the planes were in the air when their windshields failed, although the pilots were able to land safely.

Officials believe the cracks have been caused by a combination of low temperatures and winds of up to 100mph. More than 50 flights were cancelled and many more diverted.

SkyWest Airlines reported cracked windshields on eight planes that were taking off or landing on Friday.

An airline spokesman said several different makes and models of airplanes from several airlines were affected. "Everybody is fairly baffled by it," he said.

The storm system has caused at least 24 deaths.

Who is arguing and why?

Anima and Animus: Personification of the feminine nature of a man's unconscious and the masculine nature of a woman's.

This psychological bisexuality is a reflection of the biological fact that it is the larger number of male (or female) genes which is the decisive factor in the determination of sex. The smaller number of contrasexual genes seems to produce a corresponding contrasexual character, which usually remains unconscious.

No man can converse with an animus for five minutes without becoming the victim of his own anima. Anyone who still had enough sense of humour to listen objectively to the ensuing dialogue would be staggered by the vast number of commonplaces, misapplied truisms, cliches(cleasheys)from newspapers and novels, shop-soiled platitudes of every description interspersed with vulgar abuse and brain-splitting lack of logic.

It is a dialogue which, irrespective of its participants, is repeated millions and millions of times in all languages of the world and always remains essentially the same.

The animus and the anima should function as a bridge, or a door, leading to the images of the collective unconscious, as the persona should be a sort of bridge into the world.

Selling Life After Death

selling life after death?
stuipd? no, not really

a sex guru sells sex
a soul guru, souls

but a guru of Kama Sutra
sells both
sex and souls

or is it
love and souls?
or love in souls?
or souls in love?

the thing is
you've to have
the soul first,
to see souls in sex
or sex in souls

whatever way you see -
you see the way of sex
you see the way of love
you see the way of souls,

the quantum guru
of souls sells
life after death

whatever sells is
gold, pure gold.
he knows how
to strike gold -
playing on people's ignorance.

I defuse it, the universe collects it

My dreams realized

Leave me so I can enjoy you in the light I desire

And as our pieces float around

and they will frown

They could have hitched a ride from us
I'd been no bother
I'd been no fuss

We were just passing by

We've seen this many times before
some foolish kids out to explore

We could have shown them woundrous things
Pluto's moons or Saturns rings

But I guess we'll just continue on
cause worlds like this we find so wrong

What does this error message mean:

from_hex needs an argument......CloudCreator

Geeze I do not want to argue especially with a CloudCreator.

Bonnie

LOL!!! Everyone is going Bonkers with this Cloud creator msg!! Double tripe posts all over! geez! I hope this one stays single! LOL!

Hasela-I've been searching for the Suprauniverse. I got lost a few times. lol I thought I'd see you there...no such luck. Have you been busy looking for the perfect sweet:) or just busy :( see you later my happy friend....love Haseli

hi haseli:-) yes the ways there in the supra are quite confusing. A while back, I went to see Rajesh there and couldn't find him. It's all a maze there, and when I asked him, he said he was there. So same may have happened to you. Perfect sweet? Is that metaphoric or literal? LOL! No woman is really a perfect sweet, but in the literal sense yes eating lot of jalebis, gulab jamuns and kalakhand. Catch u later. bye now!

Nice to meet you! Come back visit me anytime you want! Even in my dreams!

EEEE HEEE HEEE HEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

All you wacked out moveon.org lib types.... George Soros just bought something like 2 million shares of Halliburton stock!!

I love these principled libs! AlGore, evironmentalist extraordinaire...pollutes more than I ever will. Soros, the antithesis of Cheney...buys stock in his former, EVIL, (according to the wack jobs) company! I guess profit and personal comfort trumps all!

Go Conservatism!! Go capitalism! Beware the Ides of March...it's a good month to buy a new SUV, a new shotgun, and a flatulating dairy cow!

I feel good today! We're watching the Democrats dig a huge hole for themselves...they may win in 08, but that will be the last hurrah!

Ruth Darlin...you've been writing about smear campaigns....you ain't seen nuttin, to what you're about to see. If Hillary truly feels threatened by the 'clean one', (obama) her machine will squash him like a bug! you've not yet seen slime!

y'all have a good day!

Baby D...I've been busy for a couple days, I haven't been able to engage you in our daily ritual of juvenile name calling! Hope things are going well in the day care....

Hasela-no I was talking literally about sweets :) and now I know that to see you we must stay in this dimension lol
Kalakhand is yummy. Haseli

>>It is my understanding that the government of the United States cannot account for over a trillion dollars which rounds out to about $10,000 per household. This money for all intent and purpose can be considered stolen, and needs to be accounted for and it needs to be returned back from wherever it went to.

Could you possibly be 'censoring' the US government for something they did wrong, Richard?

Now my question is, why should your censorship be truer than any other? And why would you need to invalidate the censorship of others?

But again, it could me 'my' illusion, no?

Have a good day.

Hi Norm:

If you want to know about "real pollution" you should go to

Have a nice day--yu heah" (grins)

Bonnie

Oh both are same to most men haseli! :-) Sweet&Sweet. Lot of sweets are just about perfect sweets. Oh you know how crazy these Indians are about sweets and food. It is Rich Diverse and yum yum.

About dimensions. On dot! It's all about dimensions or PLANES OF EXISTENCE!! The normal plane of existence in which most live doesn't show or direct us to the deeper mysteries of life&existence. This is where most scientists keep breaking thier heads, like meeting the four walls in a box. To really know, one has to find a technique to move out of the box, i.e changing the plane of existence. Then, you see something deeper which we cannot in the plane in which we live. If Rajesh sees this, he won't spare me with these planes, I know. He's busy talking about Chimpanzees and music I think.

God bless!

Bonnie!! Hey you, how are you?

Thanks for giving me that link! That was an eye opener! That testosterone drop..explains lots of things to me... it explains the limp wristed, linguine spined 'new american male' to me! Exemplified by the John Edwards wing of the Democrat party! No wonder Rosie O'Donnell suddenly looks to tough.... And Hillary...well, we always knew she had bigger balls than Bill! They go nicely with her 'cankles'! (I know, I know, I'll pay for that one, it wasn't even nice!!)

Y'all have great day! It's windy here in Ky today...I think I just saw a penguin get blown off my glacier!

norm

I feel so much better!

Hasela- oh ic so you think that all men are the same? Are you like all other men? :)
The planes of existence...mmmm some must be beautiful. I'd like to find one where music is divine :) to share it with someone special.
Say hi to rajesh...The 2 of you have such fun lol

For Norm!

Of Stars and the Kingdom Come

Lonely are the brave is the monkey wrencher gang,
overcome by war in the stars and the hope of mineral gain.
Saying, ‘but why worry about Earthly social ills,
when we can but go to the stars to kill.’

Star Trek is fun viewing,
but warp speed is beyond human doing.
Cannot eradicating human hunger be more suitable of a quest,
than throwing moon rocks at China’s chest.

Luddites to the left of me, troglodytes to the right;
but here I am, stuck on this earth with you . . .
Money to uselessly race into space (for humanity’s glory nonetheless),
but said money used to uplift the ‘deserving’ poor is such a waste.

Ahhh, we must not have yet killed our Palestinian for the day!

So for the glory of man, and of course the prospect of profit,
to the moon we must go and install a permanent golf club.
Let us not forget the ‘whites only’ sign,
so from space we can watch the USAF destroy the Iranian race.

After that, we’ll put that Putin in place;
how dareth that half mongoloid to question Jewish desire,
and their Anglo slaves superior firepower.
Yeah . . ., we’ll show him who is king of the Siberian forest.

Aye, so spend our taxpayer dollars for weapons in space,
after all there is no hope for this fallen human race.
When moral ‘progression’ is measured by your fidelity
to ‘free’-trade, the rule of (the rich mans’) law, and the Almighty dollar.

But Moshiach shall not be a warrior nor a banker!

Tikkun olam shall not be realized out in space,
but here on earth when we perfect the human race;
such is our collective fate.
Alas, why do we continue to tarry about: the hour is late.

Israel est restored and yet half her people are still in Babylonia captive,
America indeed is the land of sorcery and enchantment.
Forsooth, ‘In her was found the blood of prophets and of God's people,
of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.’

Verily, the day of the widowed queen is nigh on hand,
and yes indeed in the stars, and The Book, it is written.
Thy harlotry America (& your IMF & World Bank) shall soon be smitten,
as the merchants stand back aghast.

Lord Jesus, and the meek and poor of this world, shall have the last laugh!

Amen

(In response to Krauthammer over at Townhall)

Haseli: I'm a man who has to shave his beard, as I secrete normal amounts of Testosterone. All my feelings of attraction are of the opp sex, so I won't deny as Rajesh would say Men are men. Yup, can't really help it. But, evolved enough to know what emotional commitment means what spiritual merging means. All that stuff. Coz experienced first hand all that. So, I know every bit of that and this too. LOL!

People find this world and the universe to be a mystery to explore. Do you know what I find mystery and a place for greater exploration, Woman. In all her dimensions and at all levels. One lifetime is less to explore. It becomes like an Ocean as you swim deeper and deeper. It's a whole different world in that miniature replica of the Universe.

For me, there is no other subject as interesting and as fascinating as Femininity. Again, I insist at All levels. not just physical or emotional.

Do you live in US? I mean for your temporary stay, I know you're originally from venus. I heard on the news Storms are pounding there.

With Lots of Love
Hasela
(As Rajesh would say)

Hasela-this is one of the nicest posts I've seen. It makes me happy to be a woman :)
It's good that you appreciate women at every level, not just physical and emotional. There is mystery in a complete person, insn't it? Men are fascinating. I only met nice ones.
I am in California...Nice weather all the time (most of the year)and lots of Indian sweets too, literally lol. Have you been there?
Going to have some soan papdi. Do you like it? love Haseli

shamu...emergeth from the sea and is salivatin' for next month's biggggg splash in st, croix...american idol extraordinaire...hey girls ...start planning ur caribbean spring fling now...and meet our resident fem sex symbol at the beach...all 600 lbs of him.... with his rum and coke in hand, his beach sombrero, his beach hut, and his ky bleached dermis...he would temporarily think that GW (Global Warming) is not a liberal hoax...whoa.in case u cant find him....he will be the mammoth specimen peekin' at u sideways wearing dark glasses...thinking u will not notince ...yes, Big Brother will be watching u....whoahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

Mm Glad haseli, you liked it and appreciated it. Yeah true, mostly I appreciate them. They are fantastic and they are no:1 reason why I still think the world is a good place to live. Think about a world haseli.. with all this bs fighting all around. Language of guns is how they communicate and resolve. I mean, you've to be mad to do that. But, the truth is very clear here in the world we live. Doesn't take a scientist's intelligence to see in what misery we are in here. It really is the Abundant love&compassion of the women which ticks my heart and still makes me give it a second thought, oh hang on, there still is lot of beauty in this wretched world. Men are interesting? oh probably for you. They are filled with Ego, that's the first and last thing they know. You hardly get to see humbleness or softness or the Incredible forgiveness which a woman's heart can So effortlessly produce. Needless to say this to you: not a hard and fast rule, there's the opposite of all this too. But, that's not where I really like to focus. When there is beauty and ugliness together, my eyes naturally are focussed on the beauty.

mm, it's been nice talking to you. The flow was there today! Thank god for that!

With Lots of Love(Inspired by Rajesh)
Hasela:-)

Yes Hasela-nice flow today :)
I like how you focus on beauty. Beauty in natue, people, arts, it's all God-God is in all. I am sure some women must work on the ego like men, but women forgive easily, isn' it? My favorite kind of man is a real man :) strong enough to know softness at the right time. I love the protective feeling that men can show when they are strong. Then they use strength to show love and not to hurt others. Strong men love intimacy, they can handle it :) do you agree? It's so nice to see a man with such ideas as yours. love Haseli

Yeah Haseli, I agree with you. all is God- God is all? (hope Rajesh doesn't tamper this)LOL!

I real life, it isn't as easy as it is on paper. We can talk for hrs on love or write tonnes of books on love, but what really matters is what manifests in real day to day life. Personally, this is where I found women to be much deeper and embracing than men. They are so much in the feelings and heart, it comes effortlessly to them. I've to struggle for it most of the time. Most of the time just logic rules. Any nonsense illogical stuff becomes difficult for me, I draw shutters. I've seen my mother or others who don't get into such things, rt or wrong, brilliant or stupid, it's the same for them. The love, the embrace they have is the same, just unconditional. To me, that is Love.

Enough for today. Bye now!

With Lots of Love,
Hasela

We were strangers
Starting out on a journey
Never dreaming
What we'd have to go through
Now here we are
And I'm suddenly standing
At the beginning with you

No one told me
I was going to find you
Unexpected
What you did to my heart
When I lost hope
You were there to remind me
This is the start

Life is a road
And I want to keep going
Love is a river
I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road
Now and forever
Wonderful journey

Hasela you say "I real life, it isn't as easy as it is on paper. We can talk for hrs on love or write tonnes of books on love, but what really matters is what manifests in real day to day life." So true! But do you think women are all loving all the time? On Earth? The truly loving ones, who can love despite difficulties and obstacles, are rare. On Venus yes...Women are loving all the time :) You sound like a loving guy. Logic has its important place in life...no doubt...and to be happy though we must rely on the intelligence of the heart. Goodmorning Everyone,

a little something from "A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness by Itzhak Bentov

The problem is that we are too used to thinking in terms of things being absolutely positive or negative, forgetting that what is over there is positive to itself, and what is here is negative to it. Positive and negative are as relative as here and there, and even the Ablsolute is relative in this sense. The Manifest Creation is where you stand; the Absolute is where you don't stand. To illustrate, suppose you die and according to your level of consciousness find yourself in Nirvana. Then Nirvana becomes your reality, your Manifest Creation, and the physical reality, which you have left behind, becomes your potential. The individualized consciousness is a part of the reality in which it finds itself.

There is nothing absolute and final. If everything were ironclad, all the rules absolute and everything structured so no paradox or irony existed, you couldn't move. One could say that man sneaks through the crack where paradox exists.

have a great day everyone, ruth

Happy Holi to All

This time with a song and dance from the film Mohabbatein -- the song Soni Soni, sung and danced as part of Holi play:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKn5HnebIyY (or click my name)

It has connections to three of IB's own: Shah Rukh Khan, Anupam Kher, and Shekhar Kapur.

SRK and Anupam Kher are both featured in the sogn-and-dance sequence, and Shekhar Kapur discovered another of the actors, Jugal Hansraj, who acted for Shekhar in Shekhar's film Masoom.

For the guys, if you love Aishwayra Rai, she's there, too, as is Shilpa Shetty, so much in the news recently.

Thanks,

ominous signs...

"Diplomats said Wednesday that the United States may turn to the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency to exert more pressure on Iran out of frustration with Russian and Chinese opposition to firm Security Council action.

On Tuesday, President Bush said he would continue to focus on diplomacy but that “all options are on the table” to prevent Iran from developing atomic weapons." quotation.

we must all speak up now or forever hold our 'piece'! stop the rabib dog now before he stops us!

No kidding, diablo. China, the stock market going down... something is definitely going on. The war has not been announced yet; most likely the international forces are doing what they can ...

I would think that our hope is abroad, not here.

Diablo and DMR

Go to StopIranWar.com and sign the petition

Bonnie

Something bothering you, Bonnie?

***
Cannot the world’s most powerful nation deign speak to the resentful and scheming regional power that is Iran? Can we not speak of the interests of others, work to establish a sustained dialogue, and seek to benefit the people of Iran and the region? Could not such a dialogue, properly conducted, begin a process that could, over time, help realign hardened attitudes and polarizing views within the region? And isn’t it easier to undertake such a dialogue now, before more die, and more martyrs are created to feed extremist passions?

IconPlease join the Iraq War veterans at VoteVets.org and me and sign the petition to President Bush today.

***

"Oh yeah, we realize it's all their fault but we don't want to die and that is the reason we don't want the war!"

Keep on blaming, pathetic people!

DMR...i am inspired by ur wisdom...expressed in the clarity of thought...D.

DMR

Yes Something is bothering me. Another war--possibly nuclear war.

I can only asssume you do not realize that resentful and scheming power are Bush's words. Otherwise I cannot possibly see how you can turn the rest of that statement into "Oh yeah we realize it's all their fault but we don't want to die and that is the reason we don't want the war"
Keep on blaming, pathetic people.

And the rest of the statement"Military force against Iran is not the solution now, and if we adopt the right strategy, perhaps it need never be. Urge him(Bush) to work with our allies and use every diplomatic political and economic option at out disposal to deal with Iran. War is not the answer.

DMR and Diablo, apparently I misinterpreted your statements to mean you wanted to as Diablo put it
"Speak up now or forever hold our piece! stop the rabib dog now....."

That's what these folks are trying to do for heavens sake.

Bonnie

Bonnie, my dear, I don't want to sound that I am accusing you, personally. So, please don't take it that way.

What I am saying is that we can not say that we don't want the war just because we are scared now! So the situation is getting worse, not better, and we are not achieving what we had planned on our hidden agenda. So now what, "let's back off!"

Does that sound like the right/decent reason?

If our countries (I mean, US, England, primarily) get attacked at some point in whatever possible way, is everyone here going to walk their beautiful spiritual talk and JUST BE?

Are we all going to be be SILENT & STILL?

And how does the beautiful holistic spiritual teaching sound when it is no longer about watching on TV the bombs being dropped far away from us but our own skin that could eventually feel the "heat"?

Both comic and pathetic, that is what it sounds.

Are you guys talkin' about the war again?

When faced with an overwhelming challenge that seems to have no clear cut solution and is stuck, then to be silent and still may very well be the fix.
There is no logical solution, no military solutuion, no diplomatic solution. We've so tried over the thousands of years we've been fighting to end the fighting.
Are any of you bloggers ready to find a new solution? An illogical solution? A non military, non political solution?

If something came along that nobody thought of before, never tried before, would anyone be brave enough to consider it?

Would anyone be willing to let go of thier ego long enough to be open to new ideas?

What will it really take to end war?
What will it really take to bring peace?
What will it take for you to embrace the fear and pain of an exstremist?
What will it take to love your enemy, I mean really love your enemy? Does anyone know what that really means?

When we embrace our fears we open our hearts.
When we defend our beliefs we feed war.

As long as people are willing to die for thier beliefs then there will be war.
When people learn to embrace thier fears then there will be peace.
When people are willing to defend thier enemies beliefs then thier will be peace.
When people are not threatened by fear there will be peace.

Are the terrorists convinced they are right?
Are any of you bloggers convinced that you are right?
Are any of the contributors convinced they are right?
As long as people are convinced they are right then there will be war.

For a fight to stop someone has to say uncle. Is anyone out there ready to give up thier deepest convictions to bring about peace?

peace can only come from peace

derek

DMR
I was simply trying to give you a web site of people who are trying to stop another war so that a sustained dialogue within the region can be opened. That is all! As I said you do not have to agree. As a matter of fact, they welcome comments.

Bonnie

Derek:

What I am saying is that for a fight to stop, it should never begin.

Peace

Bonnie

My sweet Heather!

Thank you, Thank you for your video!

There is no doubt, this video reaches very high levels of realization. Shekhar Kapur is behind all this... sure you right. What an inspiring man! I cannot react other way than by admiration. I love him very much.

Your video brings me a lot of joy. I do not know what else to say.

Maybe this:

Love seems to be able to reach heights where our conceptions have many pains to follow. Orchestrated with sublime intelligence in a moment where the past serves has the "boom" for a new enchantment.

Oufff! I have to swallow all this now!

Mucho amor para ti, Calor.

Dear Jean-Francois

Some people think Mohabbatein is too much of a weepie, but I love that Soni Soni Holi song picturization for its expression of the desire for closeness, despite external and internal conflicts, of the three couples in the film, and its use of SRK's character as a Krishna-like facilitator of their emotional truths (and Ash as SRK's soulmate even after death).

Holi Hai to you, dear sir.

love, Heath

breaking news...after his term is up in less than 2 years from now...bushman and his 10 loyal fan(not)ics will be taken in for a thorough psyche evaluation at a military hospital in maryland... a reporters asks...why wait? why not do it now?...whoa!

>>Are the terrorists convinced they are right?
>>Are any of you bloggers convinced that you are right?
>>Are any of the contributors convinced they are right?
>>As long as people are convinced they are right then there will be war.

Dear Derek,

What strikes me is that you mention the "terrorists" without bringing up YOUR government.

The need to 'put the blame on others' who are NOT the real cause for the next war is obvious! It is always someone else, elsewhere - either "the terrorists", or the sectarian violence impeding the supposed progress WE WANT to impose and benefit from it, and so forth!

In the meantime, the real terrorists are us but we don't want to see things that way, do we?

People here, just like their government, don't want to take the blame for what they cause and because of that, they desguise and protect themselves, the real aggressors by the way, by suggesting that all they want is to help and serve! Oh, come on!

The only reason why one would not want to be 'convinced' of anything based on evidence is that he/she is guilty of something.

going zany...

says flabs who prefers no be called normette...

"When I'm having a hot flash, I jump in the pool! I've been having a weird fascination with my wife's shoes... I now feel complete!

Damn, it's hot in this office...wait a minute, oh no...here it comes again....well...time for a swim (in the sea)!

norm (ette)" whoahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa!

ps... is there a doc in the house? those 10 bushies are loosing their balls...damn!

I saw his comments on the other thread...the menopause topic.

Do you find them to be one too many?

Don't be surprised.

Here's the fun part:

I was amazed to see that many of those posts are well presented with excellent use of English language. That made me wonder. His posts here at IB show clearly, his poor English, his lack of presentation skills, his incapability for critical thinking and his inability to make reasonable arguments.

SO I travelled........

Here's one for a sample:

Rajesh sharmas blog on fashion:

http://latesh-fashion.blogspot.com/

Here's the EXACT post from elsewhere:

www.be.young.dsl.pipex.com/fashion/fashin-shape.htm

COPY PASTE WITHOUT ANY ACKNOWLEDGMENT WHATSOEVER

It's the same with many of the others which I have tried...

SO much for originality! spirituality and hypocrisy!

Yes, I suppose that the purpose of this site is primarily to promote the work of its contributors, which is fine as long as they don't confuse their personal interests with phylantropy and free giving.

Mixing up concepts of physics with eastern spirituality can deceive many who don't mind being deceived or maybe even welcome anything that can make them feel good with themselves.

Other than that, I can not see how the one who is more aware can buy it. People have to be either too ignorant or too blind or too conniving to keep pretending that all this science-spirit talk is about one's non-profit efforts for the good of all.

I agree with you, there is too much hypocrisy here. Avtar made a serious critique. And where is he now?

#97 DMR: Where is Avtar Singh? Why can't I find him on the list of Contributors? I would like to read one of his posts again but I can't remember where it is.

Dr. Avtar is not a regular contributor - his posts appear as Weekly Intent:

Gulliver, thanks for exposing the fake, once again.

where is Rajesh now? Is he on the run, won't he come back and say something in defence? I thought he was frank and cute, even though his presentation or english was not very good.

He may be reading his blog "Come out of Depression" (yes! originally authored by someone else)or watching his favorite movie First Blood, a spiritual action thriller!

From Post #114

Well, I will tell you. This isn't knowledge creation. This is plagiarism. This is dishonesty. This is a work of a very confused man who doesn't understand Reason.

Hi Rehan,

After a long time. I thought you went away with your Zoonie to the mountains singing songs and enjoying nature. Are you making fun of Rajesh? Was he really an Illusion?

I hope he comes back, if not now, at least later. He was so so funny and yet so real and knowledgeable, like the post at WI. He wrote that one so well.

Why is this Plagiarism on the rise?? People picking up stuff from somewhere else and presenting as if it is their own, and then totally denying it for a lifetime. Is this some kind of exchange program or what? Too much of info, too many websites in today's world. It is highly punishable in the US law, a serious offence.

IV
yes! after a long time.

No, I am not making fun of nobody. Problem is there are certain kind of people who say what they know but don't really listen to what others say. There is no room for improvement in such types, ever.

(Just read the comments in WI)
Post #21 doesn't make sense. Post #17 is classic high school philosophical opinion. It sounds great but look deeper it doesn't stand a chance of furthering the argument. By stating the obvious you actually weaken your argument. God knows if he agrees or disagrees with the authors arguments.

Don't worry he will be back to post his love all over, armed with an agenda like the Christian missionaries in rural India.

Dear Dude, I am trying to find a post from Avtar where he talks about quantum physics and spirituality ...he finishes up with a phrase like, "this is not the car to take you there" or "you are sitting on the wrong seat"...something like that...and he ends the post in CAPS. I don't know where it is but I would love to read it again. I think it is a response to one of DK Matai's posts on spirituality but I can't find it anymore. He also mentioned a book that he wrote.

Dear Avtar Singh, if you read this, would you please cut and paste your response so that I can read it again?

Thanks,
DMR

Dear Rajesh,

Haven't you read this about you. Is this all true? I would like to know urgently. Please clear up this matter. I, for one, have liked reading your posts. Why did you go down on your dosage of love? I didn't understand that part. You've a lot to explain.

Thx,
I.V

Has anyone seen this yet?

Interesting and something that should get right up the noses of the political monsters that visit this Blog!

Keep putting the blame on others and glorifying yourself.

Keep selling the image of the savior to justify your greed and the attrocities that come as a result.

One day it will be your turn and there will be those who will have a big laugh at it.

"Former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby has been found guilty on four of five counts in his perjury and obstruction of justice trial. Libby faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a fine of $1 million. After the verdict was read, Libby was fingerprinted and released on his own recognizance."~~~quotation.

when will the world put the other criminals on trial?

simon...go tell that to the survivors of nearly one million iraqis who have died since america invaded their homeland...and to those who have been crippled...and come visit the grieving loved ones here in america whose loved ones died over a bunch of cooked up tales...as the world turns more and more dangerous and bin laden and co still on the lam...how conniving...how convenient simon...damn!

Diablo,

Focus on the Negative why Don't you?

The problem here with yourself and millions like you is that you have this idea that everything that happens in the world is predefined.

Think about that for a second.... let me show you examples of this...

America did something such as Invade Iraq and people have died and quite a lot of bad things have come to be as a result yeah?

So therefore America did that Intentionaly...it whent in there and did that with full knowledge of the outcome and didn't give a terd!

well my friend I am sorry to dissapoint you but life, the Universe itself is anything but predefined.... you can not know or wish or intentionaly construct the happening of the NOW and the coming tomorrow.

There is how ever the law of averages and the prediction based upon what is happening around us and we can act upon those variables.

America and most of the sensible world decided that something needs to be done about organised terrorism. Organised Terrorism includes Iraq, Afghanistan and so on and so on. As the video shows us by the laws of reasonal averages... without the actions of America the world would be held to ransom by people like saddam hussein. There would be more poverty in the world, less control of rouge states.

let us take this analogy... say you built a house next to a mountain in Mexico... and a few years later based upon reasonable intelligence you discovered that the mountain was not a mountain but an active volcano and it started making rumbling noises. Would you sit in your house and say well Huh I have the right to be here and yeah I dont think the volcano will erupt simply because it knows my house is here and I am happy comfortable, life is good, nobody is dying... right on lets have a party and forget the whole thing...... or would you move?

and lets say...if you moved house it is a hundred miles to the next suitable place and in the process some people who lived in your house Might Die?

or maybe you should just stay in your house and then at least some of you might not die on the journey to safer land and preserve some life. But one day that Volcano is going to erupt and it is goodnight to everyone!

What I am saying mate is don't give me your speech about tell that to these people who have lost their loved ones. I am saying wake up and smell the coffee and respect the bravery of those who gave their lives to defend your liberty and freedom so that you can sit on this blog spouting of your rubbish and not live in fear of your life.

There is nothing Predefined about this world that is what makes it very dangerous and is what makes it important that we do make very difficult decisions to deal with threats upon the preservation of life and freedom through out the world not just in America or the UK or any country but to preserve life and to make a commitment to standing up to those forces that have the will to destroy freedom and Democracy.

Nobody says it is easy...nobody says it is not without great sadness and loss of life. You need to always be one step ahead of the game in this world otherwise you are a fossil my friend.

I have been a survivour all my life in some pretty tough places and I know what reality is all about and trust me it is not a pretty sight!... it is real serious business and a business that needs tough decisions to deal with more than life threatening situations.

nobody can wave a magic wand and take away all of the worlds problems...infact quite often other problems are created in the process of dealing and trying to solve problems one way or the other..... But I take my hat of to America and it's Allies for trying. America is well prepared to sit around the negotiating table and solve things democraticaly any time it can, Sometimes things just can not be solved like that and other methods need to be enforced, it is a fact of life.

In an ideal world we would all be giving eachother hugs and kisses and flowers and singing and cancing and loving one another......but it isn't an Ideal world.

Regards

Simon

These are only a few samples.

Apart from the outright plagiarism, there could be a case of theft of ideas, which then are presented in broken English which makes the detection of the original source from the net more difficult.

The least that we can expect, I think, is that the subject in question should accept the sin and render a straight forward apology.

Gulliver rests

Simon,

While that video makes some correct assumptions about America’s current and previous worth, it fails to point out how many parts of the world are now a lot worse off because of America’s military adventurism, which began with the current President’s Father back in the 1990 gulf war.
You will have a hard time convincing the parents, of nearly a million children who died from that war and the sanctions in Iraq, that they are better off because of America. History will also record a drastic change in America’s benefit to the world starting around that period of 1990. We have gone from benevolent big brother, to egotistical big bully.

Stan

Dear Keith

Waggin' the tail end of OT over here on Tuesday night, about Ganesha.

A force to be reckoned with. Immensely joyous, benevolent, powerful, wise. There's a reason he has an elephant head. Loves Jesus who loves him back. My friend and yours. Wiser than wise. Truly Shiva's son. One with music.

My theory is: force of the universe, perhaps one of a Hindu trinity. Sees the value in all things, and expects, with a smile, each person to live up to his or her value. Not a teacher, not a guide, not a playmate. A god in clown's dress and compassionate mask, with a humble but canny sidekick. Always answers when you call. Will go eye-to-eye with you as you puzzle out your deepest mysteries and heaviest frustrations. Will hold your hands, both of them. Opens up your heart as well as your mind. Will never let you down. Jesus has my back with strength, eternally, and Ganesha takes me to a higher consciousness beyond the fields of men.

These ideas are not from reading, they are from experience, and they are recent experiences.

rubish..simon!

Funny stuff on my blog logs sometimes -- on my songs blog, which has Hindi songs, there was this search just now: "khush all or nothing" -- khush is "happy" in Hindi. So looked around for this melodramatic old standard that has the line "...all or nothing at all...". Couldn't find it, though.

Here's Ronan Keating's When You Say Nothing At All...

I used to watch Notting Hill every month for a year. Loved that relationship tension played out over time, those friends, the pacing, gentle humor, Hugh Grant. :)

Have my own Hugh Grant now, I'd jump into any lake for him.

Dear Stan

It's good to hear from Dave, it'll be great to have him back. Been missing you, too, sir. It's so good to see you.

Dear Char

Hugs to you, brave woman!

(Toodles for now, off to finish some work for the office while dinner cooks, then walkies for aged doggies in the brittle air, then call my Hugh Grant, though he's not really a Hugh, he's my DL, then glossary homework. Ah, I love working from home, esp. when it's so cold and my broken knee is still healing. I guess it is a stream of consciousness evening, after all. I never think out loud -- or is that outlawed? -- like this. Love y'all, all y'all.)

Hi RAJESH, where your apology?
Won't you accept the charges?
Do you want to defend yourself?
If you are feigning ignorance, you be warned. You are a man with no integrity. You have no place in Chopra community. Plead guilty on all charges and Apologize before it is too late.

AKA RAJESH SHARMA(A CASE STUDY)

RAJESH SHARMA, this is my last call for you. Come out clean within next 12 Hours. If not, the penalties will follow. Not the least of which would be your excommunication. A tighter case will be made, and your behavior will be informed to all the concerned folks and those you took advantage of, that includes Deepak Chopra too.

Diablo,

I would like to ask you a very basic question, if you dont want to answer it then thats fine.

Do you belive that there are some very serious and very real threats out there in the world now from various groups of people. That could seriously harm you and your family and everyone around you and not only harm or kill you but wipe out hundreds of years of democratic stability such as civil rights, Human rights, Law and Order, justice and many other things that people worked hard and fought and died to achieve?

or do you think that is complete rubbish also?

a simple yes or no would be great....

Cheers

Simon

People reading my recent blog's may jump to the assumption without realy thinking that I am some how Pro War or Pro violence.

Infact I am the complete opposite to that. I have seen enough violence in my life time to know exactly what effects it has and the ultimate outcome of violence is.

I am how ever a realist....

If one person dies because of war then that is a tradgedy there is no mistake. There has always been people who will seek to harm others in our world in all different cultures. Now that is a sad fact of life. It is also a fact of life that there must be counter measures put in place to counteract negative forces in the world. Sometimes this will mean sensless loss of life, but in reality the alternative to it is much more frightening.
