My comment: I think there is too much of a tendency to place all results on perception and choice when, in fact, physiology may be more capable of driving reality. Of course, the two (perception and physiology) bounce off one another. However, when a situation by DNA or ancestral patterns has existed for a long time, physiology simply does its thing. I think this accounts for the often-asked questions about how something can exist if you did not think it up. With physiology, the atomic, elemental electrons and so forth are heavily affected. There can be group physiology, too. I'll elaborate a little more. If a human being is suffering from hypernatremia, there is excess sodium. Each sodium atom has 11 electrons. So not only does the person have a higher sodium value, they have overactivity of electrons. This is bound to attract and repel differently than health or stability. This is one thing I am talking about when I use the term physiology; however, I am more interested in getting people to look at the attraction and repulsion of that physiology.

My comment: Again, I think that all who psychologize should be absolutely required to take high-level work in physiology. I have seen a psychiatrist who, by report, seemed totally unaware of pharmacological interactions. A person who really got physiology would not be practicing medicine the way she did. So what I wonder is if some of what we call unconcious is really automatic pilot of the physiology. Think about it. Even when we have a strong emotional reaction, bodily functions kick in. We cry, belch, even yawn when we would prefer not do. Should I say that is my unconscious? No. It is automatic pilot physical. Do I think people can train their psychology to control their physiology and, thereby, physical? Yes. In fact, understanding what drives what is actually better incentive.

I'm so glad to see this become part of our discussion.

Jung saw the unconscious as complementary in it's
persuasive nudging and mysterious urgings.

One thing we know, it never gives us more than we can handle.

Still, we can't get greedy and impatient or it will shut down defiantly.

Affirmations are big-time exciting events for the novice.
It is to be expected to cause an inflation in self-importance.
I speak from experience here. It tends to make one feel 'special'.

It is great to be recognized in this existence,
especially when it seems like "God actually knows of me,
sees me, knows where I am and what I'm doing!"

One thinks "now it will happen all the time!"

"If I never have another experience like this...ever,
that will be cool by me because now I finally know."

It can be difficult to smile within and show a somber, poised face.
When you tell your friends what happened to you
they will smile back or roll their eyes in amusement.
Not for a minute do they seem to believe a word you have said.

I must learn to dispassionately tell my stories
and have it come off like it's "no big deal".
It was nothing, just another 'thang'.

This is one of the highest energy posts I have ever seen on Intentblog, the pictures play a role but the content is exceptional as we well know. This is the kind of content and intelligence that can light up the planet.

This is born of the Radiant Mind.

I haven't quite got to the end yet so I will go back and then comment more later.

As for the synchronicity / web science / semantics experiment you know I am right there with you. This is what is going to turn the subjective proof into objective proof. This is where God (undefined) is going to show his face (formless) to the world, just in time. Some have said where is this God? But God (not the orthodox religious version) has been here all the time we just have not been of the consciousness to see that it resideth in thee and everyone.

I suspect there will be resistance to this from the egoic mind in an attempt at self preservation, but all should know that with wisdom comes good experience which the egoic mind is actually has an affinity for. If only it (we) can see the wisdom and let go of what was and the old system of things.

As for the experiments what we would do:

Phase I

1.Measure and quantify the collective thought and track the ebb and flow of word, concept and emotion (feelings). Feelings are the indicators of truth, for the mind can play tricks and create stories of fiction. Do this over periods of time, blogs are a vital component for this data source.

2.Measure, register and quantify events, such as conflict, war, scientific breakthroughs, weather, stock markets, poverty, hunger, prosperity, market fluctuations, disease outbreaks over periods of time.

3.Register individual, group, global synchronicities, this includes natural events.

4.Look for correlations between all being measured (1,2,3), and establish relationships, as well as publishing outstanding synchronicities between the “seemingly” unconnected.

Phase II

Phase two is an unprecedented global collaboration of willful intent and communication to orchestrate positive outcome (life promoting) and demonstrate an effect on all things measured in Phase I.

Or something along these lines. Everyone is going to need to come up with ideas and input for the experiments.

thank you for this post. I feel I should tell you about something that might be connected to this.

A while ago I started a personal experiment where I work with distance healing in a focused and organized manner (with a group of receivers on the other side of the globe), because I feel the desire to understand the mechanics of the energy transfer process a little better.

I have also become aware of my desire to work with this type of energy healing on other issues, like political, economical or climate challenges, in some kind of way that could make it clear for me - not necessarily that it works, because I know it does, but how this human ability can be developed further and put to best use. But I couldn't think of a way to do it in a measurable way...

Then one day I came to Intentblog and saw a post by you, about mi2g celebrating its birthday (happy belated!) and what immediately drew my attention was the picture of our planet. Once upon a time I got that same picture as a birthday present. I'm quite used to paying attention to synchronicities, and when I read your post, I was struck by the way you had enumerated the greatest challenges facing our world today- AND had a way of evaluating the risk.

So the thought came... here it is, the possibility to start an energy project on one of these issues, and then see if the risk drops. I wanted to post right away, but didn't know exactly what I had to say :) the thought wasn't yet ripe, and I let it be.

Today, as I read this post, I felt I should tell you about all this. I have no idea if this can be what you are looking for, or a maybe part of it. What I am talking about is an organized project of coherent healing intention and focused energy to one of the (measurable) issues we confront today, probably something small to begin with. A number of people could work with it in an organized fashion, and the results could then be measured. I know it's what I would love to do, maybe there are others who feel the same way.

Synchronicity is no more baffling or mysterious than the discontinuities of physics. It is only the ingrained belief in the sovereign power of causality that creates intellectual difficulties and makes it appear unthinkable that causeless events exist or could ever occur.

Meaningful coincidences are thinkable as pure chance. But the more they multiply and the greater and more exact the correspondence is, the more their probability sinks and their unthinkability increases, until they can no longer be regarded as pure chance but, for lack of a causal explanation, have to be thought of as meaningful arrangements... Their 'inexplicability' is not due to the fact that the cause is unknown, but to the fact that a cause is not even thinkable in intellectual terms.

When we will understand that universal evolution happens because of its entanglement into four basic forces in some topsy-turvy, virtual world (its mind) and then disentanglement from them in the actual world we will know that actually everything in the world is happening in synchronicity.

Proof: Proof is that the whole world simultaneously enters the like phases, such as when there was Age of Romnticim in the West, there as Age of Bhagti in the East, both of which are essentially the same.

Further detailed comprasion can be seen from following paragraphs from my book:

If we were not too close to this period, with a little allowing for overlapping, we could have rightly improved upon this division as: The Fathers and The Schoolmen, The Age of Romanticism, The Age of Reason, and finally almost our present Age, The Age of Enlightenment or Intelligence or Intuition.

Based on the studies of already quoted Indian philosopher S. Radhakrishnan, we could have the corresponding periods in the East as: The Sutra and The Scholastic Period; The Age of Bhagati Movement represented by Ramakrishna Parmahansa, Vivekananda etc; The Age of Reason represented by Sri Aurobindo, Sri Ramana Maharishi and J.Krishnamurti; and finally our present Age.

Now before we proceed further, we would show that all the four Ages representing the evolution of the Western culture are, in fact, identical in meaning and content with those representing the evolution of the Eastern culture.

What the Age, The Fathers and The Schoolmen of the Western culture really means is, that our present culture then was in its childhood and needed first the guidance of fathers and subsequently of teachers, of the schoolmen. Just as a child would first need the guidance of his father and then of his teachers.

To say it in an other way, our present culture then was only growing as we do in our childhood and that means was displaying the characteristics of gravitational interactions.

Similarly, the Age represented by The Sutra period and The Scholastic period in the East as per Radhakrishnan’s writings and observations, means the same thing: Sutra literally means ‘a set rule,’ ‘a set advice,’ ‘a proven rule or formula’ just which a father would give to his child for safe, good, successful living. So that The Sutra period in fact represents the same period of our present global culture in the East, which is represented by The Fathers in the West.

Again, The Scholastic period verily means the period belonging to the schoolmen, to the teachers.

As to the Bhagati Movement in the East, it is verily the Age of Romanticism of the West. Bhagati is romance with God; the romance is bhagati of the opposite sex. The former is so because it has more of the intuitive content in it, more of the other-worldly content as all the Eastern philosophies would generally have, while the later is so because it has more of the rational content, more of the this-worldly content in it, again as all the Western philosophies would generally have. Intuitive content - like quantum’s jump through ‘nothingness’ (in fact through our Mosc) - would link one with the ‘other world,’ with the ‘inner’ world, with even ‘God,’ while the rational content would keep one’s link with this world, with the world which is before him, in front of him, and hence with the persons of this world, in other words.

It came around 17th to 19th centuries both in the East as well as in the West.

Similarly, the Age of Reason in the West is epitomized more than enough by a single sentence of Sri Ramana Maharshi: Where is the world except in your mind? It surely is a good enough parallel to what the rational science of the West has culminated into saying: Where is the world except in your observation?

And mind you, Sri Ramana Maharshi uttered these words around the same period scientists in the West discovered their Quantum theory - around about the first quarter of the Twentieth century!

So we can rightly say that whether in the West or in the East, our present culture stands divided into four like periods or Ages: Of Fathers and Schoolmen, of Romanticism, of Reason and finally - perhaps our ongoing - of Intelligence, of Intuition. In other words, of our culture’s childhood, of its youth, of its middle-age and finally, of its old or wisdom age. And that means stands divided into periods belonging to gravitational interactions, electromagnetic interactions, strong interactions and finally, weak interactions as we have explained in the previous chapters.

To show that our ongoing period is indeed going beyond thought, beyond reason, or is entering the Age of intelligence or intuition, I would just quote from a stray article in a local newspaper which I read only yesterday.

The article is named I think, therefore I am not and is written by one Adil Jussawalia in the paper The Tribune of northern India. It reads inter-alia:

The climate all over the country - perhaps all over the world, I really don’t know - is anti-intellectual, anti-thought. Which, perhaps, is one good reason to account for the mess it is in.

Though the writer here calls this era anti-intellectual, anti-thought, according to us it is transcending intellect, transcending thought. From our ongoing discussion of the development of anything, any system, any culture according to four basic interactions, it would be clear that our present culture was bound to be in its present state because of these interactions, because of its passage from the strong interactions era where intellectual activity was to be its hallmark to the weak interaction era , where as already explained, ‘to be’ is going to be its motto rather than ‘to know,’ rather than intellectual activity.

The present ‘mess’ is because of the transitional period. It would stand cleared once we are well established in the weak interactions era. We are sure our Age then would be known not only as the Age of Intelligence or Intuition but as the Golden Age of the global culture as well.

I think proof of almost total synchronicity would come from direct experience not a bunch of words which would illustrate “potential” for total synchronicity.

From a mental or written observations book, establishing relationships, the combination of causes (or intents) needed to manifest an event, estimating probability of this combination of occurring at random or requiring coordination.

We would also need to look at natural affinities (attractions) when determining probability related to synchronicity. When the improbable occurs it is a sign of intelligence. When order is created out of chaos it is a sign of intelligence. When patterns are created from a random substrate it indicates intelligence. When a group of seemingly unrelated events are needed to create another effect the coordination of the events requires intelligence.

Is there a master coordinator; is there sub system communication between the agents? Are the lesser agent’s extensions of a greater master agent?

Determining probability is not going to be an exact science because all the variables involved. For example an author that finds himself sitting adjacent to a film maker, a publisher, and a literary agent on a plane increases if there is a large event in a city (plane’s destination) that involves the display and promotion of creative works. This has a higher probability and may indicate synchronicity based on affinity rather than coordination by an agent. Where the same thing happening on a bus whose destination is 4th and Broadway is much less probable especially since one is there because their car broke down, and two are going to a the restaurant, another a record store, and the third their residence. With no specific event connecting the four together.

Even more powerful is when we encounter the unexpected that leads us to an unknown destination that has been manifested by an intention. In other words the expected route is not what transpires, but instead an unknown and unpredicted route opens up one that we could not consciously have planned yet leads us to the desired destination. Where perhaps the conceived route based upon our limited finite mind may not have succeeded.

Understanding this can lead to being in the flow unattached to detail outcome, or looking for signs (pointers) all produced by some gestalt intelligence and allowing it to handle the details of the path and the coordination of the entities which would require a scope of knowing and processing beyond that which separate linear processing agents could conceive with there limited scope of awareness.

As if there could be Self Conscious Awareness and Gestalt Conscious Awareness. Although it is the same element “awareness” these two terms denotes “scope” of awareness and method of processing either single thread linear or multi thread parallel.

There is also the “Mind” component where we have a finite localized mind [conscious], and an infinite non-local mind [unconscious], the former a product of Self Conscious Awareness and the latter one of Gestalt Conscious Awareness.

Individual intent and collective intent. We have created a system where individual intent can override collective intent which can harm the entire body. It some circumstances this could also benefit the whole body.

In Infinite Play (in the movie, and ‘The” Movie) the infinite player is capable of producing or participating in great synchronicities (miracles, good luck) because they are conscious of the infinite mind, and connected to the source. Where the finite player is not aware of the infinite mind and produces conflict and disharmony, winners and losers, all because they are (their mind) is disconnected, from the source, yet they are technically connected in that it is actually animates them.

The finite player may well be a part of the synchronicities and infinite game but they are oblivious to its existence. Therefore the finite players often become unknowing instruments in the infinite game and can become puppets of the infinite players simply because they have strings, resulting from the dominance of their egoic nature and subjugation by the illusion of separation.

I did want to say though that I agree that history provides "substantial evidence" of synchronicity and the involvement of a master agent resulting in a steered evolution the impetus perhaps being the Life Force. In a sense a proof as in the example you gave. I also think that it is worthy area of investigation.

In fact I was thinking the other day we are in a position now that we can look at the past and see from a holistic view why everything that happened, did, and did so for a good reason.

But because it is based on the past (doesn’t really exist) I find that "real" proof would only come from the present and exercising the principle with results.

In fact I was recently watching "The Dark Ages" I think on the History channel which covered a large span of time. As I was watching how it all unfolded with all the details I could see where what appeared to be bad, all the conflict was actually resulting in evolution and higher consciousness, much like the conflict in Iraq is going to do in out attempt to solve it. First it demands our attention, and cannot remain isolated in our illusion, in seeking the solution we collectively will raise our consciousness.

One can see how each group contributed to the total beneficial effect. Sometimes driven by lust, hunger, and greed (puppet strings) they would also spread ideas, technology, and mixed DNA, all serving the purpose of evolution and life.

In fact it seems the desire to ferment grain to produce BEER that led to “communities” settling down to produce grain crops. Of course a roving army of men did not have a food supply so they had to take it. SO although individuals were killed off, it may have allowed humanity as a whole to persist and adapt to it’s environment.

So thanks to Beer we have cell phones and quantum physics!

It was also the threat of invaders that forced people to think and develop methods of defense expanding their technological capability which enhanced humanities ability to adapt. It was the desires of the invaders that helped to develop technology to overcome the defenses.

Here is a good example:

At the time of the Dark Ages it was the monks that could read and write, most others 99.99% of the population could not. Reading and writing are ways of expanding intelligence and enhancing adaptability and are essential for the evolution of consciousness and mankind.

What happened is the "conflict" forced many to seek safety in the monasteries (children were often sent there) where many learned to read and write further advancing civilization.

There was this one Lombard King that in "Wisdom" saw the folly of these big group wars resulting from a tiny conflict between sometimes two individuals. So he came up with these LAWS & JUSTICE to enable the organized resolution of dispute between the individuals rather than including everyone. If it could not be resolved amicably between the parties then they could fight it out between themselves while preserving the Peace of the community.

In more modern times we have China’s invasion of Tibet which forced many to flee and spread the Buddhist thought (higher consciousness) throughout the world. In fact it is a result of the Chinese invasion that one friend / teacher / Tibetan Lama lives only 25 miles from me, in that his parents were killed by the Chinese and he had to flee on foot to India first then came to the US. While all the associated emotions of having such a horrible thing happen are present there is a knowing of some underlying purpose. In fact the very things that brought me here to this location, a place I would never have fathomed myself to be now all make sense. It is odd that I live in the 2nd safest city in the United States, only 20 minutes from the 2nd most dangerous yet I don’t experience any real difference when I move through them. Surely there must be some lesson here that two such extremes could exist in such close proximity.

Even all the assassinations begin to make sense often resulting in a major shift of power and or attention placed on the higher thought material produced by the one assassinated.

All that being said humanity has arrived at a point, contrary to what we observe, where in at many sectors hosts of higher consciousness are protected from attack by hosts of lower consciousness. The means by which to raise lower consciousness is also in place with the Internet and other instant communication.

So for the first time in the history of humanity we are reaching a point (with the establishment of one final realization, unity, and some supporting wisdom) where violent conflict is no longer necessary for human evolution.

This means there will be Peace as soon as we achieve this last installment of intelligence and wisdom and understanding. The conflict in the Middle East will be the driving force behind the need to do this as is part of the natural unfolding.

So if you want Peace to come quickly simply empower and accelerate the communications that result in this final installment of intelligence and wisdom, the target year for the completion is 2012.

I would like to see the great communicators of the world to come together and speak in unison to quickly deliver the final blow to the fictions and dogma of man, with the dissolution of ignorance that breeds all pain and suffering.

By doing this we will enable humanity as a whole to adapt and survive the potential ensuing natural chaos that we may face as earth goes through it’s natural evolution. Much of what we need to do will need to occur in the next five years if historical records and scientific knowing are correct.

With the global establishment of the principles of truth and wisdom, the eradication of dogma and fiction, the dissolution of the illusion of separation, violent conflict is no longer necessary for human evolution.

I say join together to empower the voice of spirit and wisdom through conventional and unconventional communication channels to rise above the ego chatter so that all are exposed, and although there may be resistance one exposed to the truth will soon become self evident to all those that heard. Imparting awareness has a permanent effect.

The other task at hand is to rework all the current systems so they are in alignment with our new awareness and consciousness. This is essential in that the elimination of disease, poverty, and hunger both coincide with and is both part of and the result of the shift to higher consciousness and a more rewarding experience for everyone and humanity as a whole.

Simply splendid. I just remembered another area where synchronicity occurs rather all the time. that is our brain! It seems nerve cells in the brain fire synchronously and brain scientists associate the synchronicity of this firing with awareness and perception. Actually, amplitude of the EEG (that identifies the frequency bands alpha, beta, theta and delta) varies as a function of the synchronicity of postsynaptic potentials among other things.

yes, I guess you're right. It's just that I feel that the www as it is today is already starting to be "of the past". Just as we once had to draw cables to talk with each other on the phone but are now talking wireless, we now don't need the www and computers to communicate, gather information or synchronize action. The web of consciousness is everywhere and we're starting to be able to navigate it without needing any material structure. But I'm sure you're right, these thoughts belong in another kind of project. Thanks!

If special characteristics match those of various phases of various systems it proves that one Unified Force drives whole evolution according to a plan/design based on four fundamental interactions and so everything in it happens synchronically. Rest is details.

#25. I do not know what you mean by all. But certainly that is all there is to it what I have written in an other thread under Sense and Essence of Self-Designed Universe, so far as I am concerned.

Everything has happened, is happening and will happen as per the Grand Scheme of Things (comprising of 'action' of the four forces-based design and 'reaction of Darwinian theories based 'evolution,' sparked time to time by One indistinguishing Reality (Avtar Singh's Consciousness)and for the best.

BTW: I thought about this post a little on Friday as I drove home, wishing I had a copy to read over the weekend - it would not print. I do know that I would like to read it again, but I haven't found the time yet. Anyway, what I really wanted to say and why I am posting is that I personally could not understand nor relate to the names given to the six pointed star, i.e., where did the names or words come from and why?

Okay ... I re-read this post by DK and the names given to the 6 points are interesting. Too bad, we cannot come up with better names, as I just cannot seem to relate to those names, which could be due to my lack of knowledge on the subject. But hey, what do I know...ha! I think the Star of David is the pattern of light and if that is what is being explained, then I am trying hard to understand the concepts. Maybe this has all developed and evolved into what DK has posted here by everyone’s inputs and the vast knowledge that he has.

Humm ... that's a thought, as I wonder what the babies will be like :- )

However, I do like the circle around the 6 pointed wheel, as that is similar to what I briefly saw (the individual points) in the image of the candle light (not in the actual light as it is hard or impossible to see directly), as the circle spread out into several circles each holding a different color of the rainbow. The star was active throughout the six points, more like a moving spear among the 6, making one golden star in the middle dark background (I think black or a very dark color) ... like that wheel above, but the points were all pointing out as a star or a revolving atom or something like that. There was a center too, but it was where the points met which made the star …. I guess. I did not see the line pattern of the Star of David in the image itself, only a living star of light with six points. However, I recognized the Star of David immediately. So it’s interesting to see all these concepts above and how the two makes one. I’ve heard within the Wind … “ God and Jesus are the Holy Spirit.” So that tells me the two make one Spirit and that Jesus (mankind) is the image or reflection of God, so it’s all the same and only the One.

Well … time to go home.
