I could not help getting caught up in the Paris Hilton melodrama over the last 48 hours. Alas, Paris is going back to jail after being released and sent home for unspecified non-physical medical conditions.
Seems the Hilton heiress got caught between the political maneuverings of her lawyers, the sheriffs office, city attorneys, and the judge. I feel bad for her. The media is in a frenzy, having a field day at her expense.
But, is it karma catching up? If you flaunt yourself for the media, dont you open yourself up to becoming an example. After all, she has manufactured an image for being sensational. And the latest saga in her life plays perfectly into what she sought to achieve. She could have been quiet through this whole experience -- instead she went to the MTV Movie Awards before heading off to hail.
At the end of the day, the city of Los Angeles had no choice but to send her back to jail. The message that no one is above the law is important. If I had a relative in jail, I would be furious at what happened in the last 48 hours in the Paris Hilton drama - in fact as a tax payer, I am appalled as well.
I would not be surprised if the system is inundated with a series of lawsuits and demands for home stays due to emotional stress! It will be interesting to see the fall out from what happened to Paris Hilton, and what it exposes about the law enforcement in Los Angeles.

Paris Hilton is ugly!
Love you Paris, with you in spirit!

Last night, Craig Ferguson opened about Paris Hilton: http://youtube.com/watch?v=uO2tuf4p0kg
Very funny, yet thoughtful, too, as he often is.
Hi Mallika,
I agree Karma has caught up to Paris.
Rich girl finally gets her come-uppance!
The parents of Paris must also share the blame for raising a spoiled brat!
Maybe this time she really will learn something about proper behavior.
It is good, that at least the "American" justice system is being blind to wealth and power. Not like here in the Philippines where the former criminal President Joesph Estrada, is spending his house in arrest for plunder in the lap of luxury.
Kind Regards,
Stan
Paris went to the MTV movie awards and then it all went to hail!
I know you meant to say jail, Mallika. Freudian slips are forgivable, too.
.
The barrooms are full and she poses little threat to society.
What say we take all the other prisoners to the nearest Hilton Hotel?
Kick everybody else out. That way, Paris can
practically have the jailhouse to herself and still foot the bill...both of them.
I can't wait to see that movie. "Paris Pays!"
Sorry my grammar needs correcting:
Former President Joesph Estrada, who is charged with plunder and other crimes was released from jail and allowed to stay in one of his mansions under house arrest.
Hey Stan! Twinneres!
It's Dave Hall's birthday! Where the heck is he?
Dave: Happy Birthday!!! Come back soon!
Say "Haillo! to Patzi for us.
.
Please excuse me, Mallika.
Keith,
I have just sent Dave an e-mail asking for a full report on his whereabouts. Will let you know his reply.

Remember Paris is you, a different point of view.
I think she is smart and sexy and plays with everyone’s puppet strings which is why people get annoyed with her, they are really annoyed with themselves.... besides she is a creation of your collective consciousness. It just drives people nuts that she is free to be herself, while they live in the prison of conformity.
Every individual is produced by the collective, and looking around I would don't see any room for judgment by anyone including society.
The reason people spend so much time focusing on the faults of others is to avoid looking at their own. They just love it when they find someone that does something "worse" than their own violations against self. Gee at least I am not that bad.
All violations against self are of the same magnitude.
Love everything.
Love you Paris.
Like I said I think she is hot, smart, and fun, and you know the old truth, we see a reflection of ourselves in others.
Richard.
So true. Thank you.
Peace and Love. Melissa
Then there is the media, they are not stupid. They know you will watch if they support your own fictions. This is why the truth gets such low ratings. They also know the advertisers will pay good money to have even more fictions created in your minds. The advertisers then pass the cost of your mind conditioning onto you in the cost of their products.
I know there are exceptions, and it is really a fun game when you think about it, fun to watch a bunch of people taken for fools...
but we love the fool... for he is us
Richard,
Just wondering do have any children?
Stan
Daughter just turned 19, she is awesome and conservative, used that reverse psychology.
She is also nonjudgemental, non racist, real, and a lover of truth and people
and that is all that counts
and yes she has some flaws and is difficult at times..
"and yes she has some flaws and is difficult at times"
Sound like a good description of all of us!
Melissa, yes it does.

Self is an elaborate belief structure that cannot stand by alone.
It is buttressed by the belief in free will and karma.
A self without either......could not sustain the illusion.
Hehe drama indeed.Am not a PH fan but I think I like the attitude of going to an award function a day before reporting to jail.I think she knows how to live each moment. Also showing up a day ahead said something about her ,its different that in jail she couldn't handle things eventually but lets face it who would like being in hell.
I don't know if her karma has caught up I think she has a pretty good life and her karma looks pretty good to me but I think not taking laws seriously or using ones common sense is definately missing in her case. Its called 'the trip' or 'bravado' which we all have in youth.
But I hope she takes something from this episode.
Hi Everyone,
I have been thinking about this all day, and I just cannot find any reason to take the side of Paris in this matter. It is oversimplified to say, you are me, I am you, and nobody should judge anybody else.
She got a DUI, she was then caught driving while suspended, and knew that if it happened again she would go to jail. This did not stop her, even though she has a fortune that includes limos with drivers available at any hour of the day or night. Her apparent disregard for the law and the consequences allowed her to get behind the wheel again and she was caught again. Tough shit! She deserves to go to jail, and if USA highways are to remain safe, someone has to judge her, and enforce the punishment, the alternative is anarchy.
I don’t believe that all violations against the self or the rest of humanity are equal.
The law of Karma shows that we reap what we sow, and it is proportional. The lesson it teaches is about fairness.
Do we all suffer when another commits a violation? Yes. Should we all be punished? No!
Kind Regards,
Stan
Hello Mallika and Everyone,
Really, what it the absolute bomb(haha) in all of poor Paris's mess is that her and her family paid and are paying TOP DOLLAR for all this professional advice(lawyer, doctor, publicist,etc.)...I can hear them now.."don't worry, Paris, we'll have you out by sun-down, sweetie...now that will be ummmm $650 per hour..honey, don't worry your pretty little head, I know the Sheriff..." nothing like paying top dollar for professional mis-guidance.
the Sheriff said Paris was deteriorating..gee, I wonder if he as concerned with the poor folks who are, I am sure, deterioriating in his jail? probably not so much.
Actually, I am so sick of seeing Paris Hilton and her family's pictures all over the airwaves...please let her go or just keep the her, but please NO more PARIS!
have a great day everyone, ruth
Hello Mallika and Everyone,
Just wanted to comment seriously on spending time in jail...A friend 's daughter had to spend time in jail and it is a "shocking experience" as it is meant to be. This young woman was indeed shocked at the living conditions one has to endure in jail so I can completely understand the reaction Paris(who seems to be walking on water most of the time, anyway, as far as physical reality is concerned) was having, the point being you will never want to return, so you will change your behaviour...Get it Paris!!...now that will be $350 per hour...I'll give her a discount because she has had such a rough time these last few days..
have a great day ruth
Stan: I received an e-mail from our main man last night.
David Hall wishes to say "Hi!" to all at IntentBlog.

Young people are in denial of their physical mortality. That is why so many are killed in drunk driving incidents. And so many enlist in the armed services. These forty-five days just might save her life. love patty
yes and when you think about it she might save a few lives bringing awareness to the folly and consquences of driving intoxicated.
Nice video link Tammy, love.. the words and you...
The only thing the public should be upset about, is the fact, the pampered heiress had her original sentence slashed in half; whereas; past history shoes millions of women, guilty of her same crime; went to jail with dignity; they too cried, screamed, thier helpless parents standing by, and felt sick to their stomachs.... what makes her so special by comparison, as a daughter, as a guilty person? geez!!
Tragicly, this action to re-enstate her full sentance, may serve to save her life in the end, and for that; justice is an angel.
I would suggest to the Almighty Hand; to send the same angels to Nicole Richie, her unborn, and to Britney as well.... their children will be products of their wrecklessness with addictions, especially while pregnant; and it angers me, to see them continue to be above the law, and now their newbors and children, will pay a consequence for that!! Shame on Hollywood, for supplying them with the employment, media, and money to destroy their own lives...
with loving kindness,
North
