I've tried to google Jihadist websites so I could see the chatter myself but I've never quite found anything that I can say even rivals the type of trash talk I see bwtween Sox and Yankee fans on sports blogs. That not withstanding, apparently the real Jihadi blogs are atwitter with chatter.
For intelligence agencies, increased chatter suggests something bad is brewing. Personally I find this really annoying. I'm not scared as much as I am generally irritated that this may disrupt my busy summer plans. Over the next 2 months alone, I have a vacation planned as well as a few trips across the country and then overseas to troublesome places such as London and Asia Pacific. A sudden terrorist attack could really be meddlesome.
Sarcasm? Sort of.
I realize I am privilged to live where I live, do what I do, and be spared the daily horror that terrorism fuels. Instead it's reverted to become an aggravation for me, the potential to be a badly timed nuisance but little more.
What a strange world we live in.

The so-called War on Terror is as bogus as the War on Drugs. The evidence is overwhelming that 9/11 and 7/7 were false flag operations, and that Al Qaeda is a black op wing of western intelligence agencies.
Here's the type of "chatter" you should be concerned about:

What is the true nature of terrorism today? See what John Gray, PhD, bestselling author of Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, has stated on this page:

This is the most important political issue of our time, and the most important national debate since the Civil War. Will you, your father, and other contributors on this blog have the courage of John Gray?
Hello Gotham and Everyone,
Well, let me be the first to say that another "stink bomb" has been dropped on your summer plans by the head of our Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff..he says "he has a gut feeling that a terror attack for the US may happen this summer."
He has a "gut" feeling...I had a "gut" feeling after his performance in the Katrina aftermath that we should have fired him along with Michael Brown(Brownie)...I wonder whose gut is more reliable, mine or his?
have a great day ruth
Gotham,
After reading your post and making a comment of what a strange world "we" live in, it should be ammended to say what a strange world " I " live in, as I don't live in your world Gotham, there isn't much room for others.

Hello Gotham,
If it is a statement about the whirling duststorm shaped by the modern and ancient worlds, or even East and West, all chasing each other for answers on our restless sphere, then I agree. There is little hope for an individual to think through the myriad media-webs which ensnare us to think about 'terror' one day and 'live earth' the next. You and I may be happier in Rousseau's "Natural State". But, yet, we stop short of calling for this; perhaps we know such a state can hardly exist except in illusion. In fact, neither a blog nor a posted comment approximate the "Natural State", but with both we can state an ideal. Let us continue to state that ideal.
Looking forward to meeting you at Comicon,
Daniel OneTree

I devour your excellent Virgin comics. Also, I highly value your father's writing.
Indeed you are living a privileged life. That includes the opportunity to post on this widely-read blog.
Your post is very interesting to begin. But it never goes beyond a musing that is trite at best and very insensitive at worst. Maybe best to keep such quickie posts tucked in your personal journal.
With great privilege comes great responsibility. We come to this blog to learn, contemplate, and be inspired. It doesn't feel like you brought your "A" game tonight. I know you've got it in you!
