Yes, Saira! I caught the news coverage this week about obesity.
It does seem to run in some families, genetic-wise.
We need also remember, that there is such a thing
'fat, but fit'. The earlier in life you start, the
better, and that goes for everyone.
It is a way of life, as we say. Boredom can be a problem.
So I now have a job where I lift and walk most of the day.
For me, it's like getting paid to stay in shape.
I can't imagine having a job where I had to sit on my butt all day.
It would be torture...my back tightens up.
Todd is the man here today.
And he finally got to talk about something we all understand.
Good for you, L7! Peace, Keith

Hi Saira,
I help people lose weight and gain muscle simultaneously. This is what I do for a living. Well the attitudes and behavioral patterns that produce (and reproduce) obesity in people are somewhat contagious it seems. But then again so are the behavioral patterns of doing cardio, weight training and good nutrition. When someone sees some improvement with their fitness level and conditioning those improvements have a tendency to reinforce the new fitness related behavior patterns that got them to the new conditioning level. I am a believer in weight training to add muscle and thereby increasing the metabolic rate. Exercise in general has benefits that extend all the way to how we experience consciousness. Muscle cells are extremely intelligent. Experience the consciousness in the satellite cells of your muscle tissue when you train. They are produced during the recovery phase after your training. Have you been training Saira?
