The argument can be weakened by the fact that she was elected twice as the prime minster of Pakistan by popular vote(although she was sacked both times by the then President.)

The conclusion, though, has a lot of merit ..." she has a long way to go..". The reasons are complex.

Of course anything can happen and something will happen.

I am sorry to hear about this. Yesterday's evening news showed a smiling Benazir greeted by cheering crowds. But violent reactions are not a surprise in this world, are they? All I can do is continue to focus my intention for peace, fulfillment and well-being for the people of Pakistan, knowing that this intention is sustained by many hearts there and all over the world.

The chances of Benazir Bhutto's survival in Pakistan are slim to a sliver of slim, imho. Interviewed on CNN she said she was willing to face the threat of death and that she would trust in the people of Pakistan and God. Well, I thinkg trusting in the people is okay but God? I think the Islamic militants are trusting in God that they can kill her...so I think it is safe to say this trusting in God in a political environment such as Pakistan's is not such a wise idea.

I must say she has thrown herself into the fire by going back to Pakistan, at this time, and if she does survive to rule along side Musharraf then I would say that her trust in the people paid off..

Will she survive the militant's threats? is her security infiltrated with militant supporters? is Musharraf on the up and up?...all I have to say about this situation is that Benazir Bhutto is either stark raving courageous or she knows something about her security that the rest of the World does not....it is clear to the many relatives left behind to survive the loss of their loved ones after yesterday's attack on Benazir's life that the militants are DEAD serious about their desire to kill her and not only are they asking for God to grant their wish they are using explosives as and added incentive to manifest that wish in case God had another idea.

anyway, to me, the situation looks very very bad when it comes to Benazir's chances of survival in Pakistan at this time.

they're deluded, hai na? in love with a false ideal because they were torn away from loving mothers and siblings at early ages, and taught nothing thereafter, except one focus -- self-sacrifice -- and the actual experience of emotional desertification -- how can they let down their emotional guard to feel when they don't even know it's up -- they have nothing to compare it to. and what can they know of a real God, when they live as if divided from themselves?
