I woke up with these feelings/thoughts: Here in America we have the heart, cancer, MS, etc. walks that raise funds to eradicate the disease. This body that I am is not able to do these walks because it feels that they glorify disease. There is never any acknowlegement about healing from the inside out. I'd rather walk for something positive: peace, unity, global family. I'd rather celebrate Earth Mother and her forces making a joyful noise.

It seems to me that when we repeat negative news that we are glorifying it. It doesn't mean that I am blind and deaf to negative threads that move through me or this world. It does mean that there is a creative opportunity waiting in the wings. There are solutions to every negative feeling, thought, word and action.

I am now practicing observing my negativity and stopping the thread in its track before the thought form leaves my mouth. It's a reorienation of body in new and deeper awareness. I used to think it was okay to think about a person in negative light but that has shifted and now I have the responsibility change this body. I have to be sharply awake to do this otherwise I fall into the old ruts.

Negative force does balance positive force. The two opposites are One. However, there has been a critical imbalance. Negativity is out of control individually and collectively. I love my dark shadow Self; I love my light Self. I want the two to find peace and create a new world...and news story in my day and the world's day.

Most of us here are already hip to Bush's lies. At best you are preaching to the already converted.

Bush should have been impeached three or four years ago. It just goes to show he's not the only one that has been co-opted to feed the war machine.

Right now I'm more angry with Nancy Pelosi, Henry Reid, and Hillary. They were the ones that promised us they would hold Bush in check, get us out of Iraq, and restore the checks and balances. But as soon as they gained our acceptance, they backstabbed and joined forces with AIPAC, the Neocons, and the Big Banker War Financiers.

Hillary made a big speech to AIPAC in which she promised them unconditional support for Israel and promised them she would keep the Middle East wars going. They gave her a bunch of money shortly afterward.

There's a lot of cleaning to be done in DC. There's too much skullduggery going on in both parties. The Dems aren't representing me any better than the GOP.

Soon the Supreme Court will rule on whether the Guantanamo detainees have the writ of habeas corpus.

To me, it's the Supreme Court that is on trial here. If the Supreme Court denies people the right to be represented and see the evidence against them, I will consider it a major blow from which we might not be able to recover.

The so-called "opposition party" is offering weak or no opposition. If the Supreme Court goes along with the Executive branch, then all three branches of government will be conspiring against the Constitution, and against American citizens.

I will seriously consider leaving, because the day won't be long coming before I'll be rounded up for my blog posts (which are supposed to be protected by free speech), not told why I'm being detained (which was supposed to be my right), and not allowed a lawyer or to profess my innocence.
