Unaccountable and irresponsible is a mind without fear.

"The fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom."

Where is mind? (.)
.
Can we afford NOT to be afraid of a formidable opponent?
.
A fearsome foursome is a frightening prospect to an already terrified trinitarian.

The BEST is scared shitless of That...which is BETTER, btw.

Where is a worm with a purpose?
When the mind is without any conditions or baggage of the past. Fear and Strength are relative conditions. The same situation can evoke both. It is all in the mind.
Mind is fear. And.. Mind is Courage. There is no absolute fear or courage really...

Shehla,
What mind do you speak of? Spiritual, astral, emotional, mental, sensual, physical. Mind is like one large layered package.
If we talk about fear from the spiritual angle, inside-out, fear is an emotional signal in a territory of freedom. It we talk about fear from the physical angle, ouside-in, fear is a chain in a territory called hell.
Dark forces use fear to control humans. Light forces are the ones to free humans.
What will fear look like when light and dark are more balanced? Maybe it will look like a kaleidescope with colors dancing in partnership, cooperation (to use a Deepak word for the day), and co-creation.

A mind without fear is with the source, the universe, God.
Fear is a sign that you are getting close to truth.
Darkest before the dawn.
The fear of God theory comes from sprituality becoming orginized and filtered through the ego's of mankind.
there is nothing to fear from God
In silence.
Hi Shehla,
If fear arises
it may be telling you
look around take notice,
of your surroundings,
and what feelings are stirring in you.
The mind can hold everything,
including fear!
A mind without - disturbance,
is that what you are seeking?

thanks for the reply everybody and a very happy new year.
The feeling that nothing much can be done about the alarming frequency with which anti nationals are striking is slowly making home in our collective mind. The planet is treading in danger zone where people know that the enemy can strike at will and that nothing much can be done about it.
Where is the long term strategy that defines the role every country has to play in securing his or future? And if there is any such strategy, is the alarming frequency not warning enough for us to understand that it is not working? Why can’t we have a defined role for every citizen keeping the reality of terror in mind?
How many of us are equipped to identify possible danger? In the short term the first thing required is a detailed plan through which every citizen has to be equipped with the knowledge about what to do whenever terror strikes. A detailed charter will help reduce panic and save some lives. The plan has to be such that it generates the money to run it once it is put in place. The corporate world surely would like to reach out to every citizen because every one is consuming something or the other. They can sell their products along with the must do anti terror charter.
In the long term every citizen has to be compulsorily trained to fight for the country. And to make that possible, the vulnerable mind has to be reached before the enemy reaches there. To get to the vulnerable mind the enemy has to be identified and a counter to his strategy has to be launched. Democracy has its own set of problems but it surely should not be allowed as an escape route. In matters of state certain tough decisions have to be taken. Tough laws can give some solution only if the penalty for using them against innocent citizens is as tough as the law itself. No price is too much for a life without fear.
A fearless mind lives Peacefully in Love.

*******
Where The Mind is Without Fear
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action ...
Into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake.
-- Rabindranath Tagore

Chitto jetha bhayshunyo (Where the mind is without fear) is among one of the most quoted poems in India and Bangladesh.
Written by Rabindranath Tagore before India's independence, it represents Tagore's dream of how the new, awakened India should be. The original Bengali song was translated by the poet himself and was included in the Nobel prize winning Gitanjali in 1912.
