Happy New Year

2007 was a year marked with events that will determine the the fate of many things in the world in 2008
2008 is going to be a big year. Federal elections are expected in Canada, that might change the political sphere in Canada if the Conservatives are voted back to power.
2008 will be critical in Pakistan and you know why.
2008 will be crticial in Sri Lanka with the government planning to give the final push against LTTE and LTTE is now a full fledged militant group with its own rebel airforce, submarines added to it exisiting naval, swot forces.
2008 will be big in US, is it Obama or Hilary.
2008 will be big for China, maybe it might be the first step towards improving its human rights record.
what else do you think is going to change/happen in 2008 ?

I caught Barbara Hand Clow on Coast to Coast and she shared about the Mayan Calendar. The Mayan Calendar ends 2011 - 2012 and time acceleration began in mid November 2007.
2008 we will be getting rid of a lot of stuff and so it will be a lot easier to dematerialize. Angels will come in to move us long. Peace will be a given as people will be tired of fighting. They will no longer need to be right, giving up becomes the new reality. By 2011-2012 we will be experience full enlightenment.

Attachment - I have been reading much lately especially the tibetan book of the dead, Alan Watts, 7 spiritual laws- Deepak those were good... Watts - sometimes contradictory BUT then the most disappointing was the Odyssey (19 years gone - 7 in the arms of another woman). I wonder is there a woman author who has written anything about attachment/non-attachment and how to achieve that balance? It seems to me non-attachment is easy for men, someone else takes care of the kids, the relationship, home & hearth while they are free to think great thoughts and have adventures. Attachment/Non-attachment seems to be a double edged sword and costs women a whole lot more, regardless of what they practice.

I do too:) Barbara Hand Clow feels the Mayan Calendar comes from the Vedas. As the magnetic field drops, the magnetic field of the heart lifts up. The difference between the Mayan Calendar and the others is she is not in cycles, she spirals. We are Blessed. love patty
