There is a common misunderstanding that Eternity and Consciousness are paranormal or epiphenomena rather than physical phenomena. This misunderstanding is a direct artifact of the incomplete and materialistic-only or biological-only approach of the mainstream science that has forced the pursuits of these phenomena into the hands of the dogmatic religionists, metaphysicians, and mystics.
The successes of the mainstream science in the material day-to-day world are attributed to its mandated approach founded on materialism and measurable-only investigations. Such successes are evident in the modern day world of high-tech gadgets, communications, medical advances, and space explorations etc. This has led to a widespread but premature over-confidence by some materialist scientists in presuming the unquestionable power and capabilities of science to solve all issues facing humanity and its psyche. The mainstream theories of science have been prematurely declared to be universal theories in spite of the fact that they fail to explain or predict 96% of the universe. The measurement-only or material-only rule of the scientific approach is to be adhered to and practiced by all scientists as the moral commandments of the religion leaving no room for integration of physical realities beyond matter and measurements into a wholesome science representing the ultimate universal reality.
A stubborn and persistent human ego is the root cause prohibiting the vision of reality beyond matter and sensory measurements. The same human ego that declared the earth as the center of the universe centuries ago at the dawn of the scientific age persists even today howsoever in a subtler and more complex form – a product of evolution. This is apparent in the so-called Anthropic principle used in modern cosmology promulgating the humans as the cause and evolution of the universe. It states that the universe came into being and evolves to allow humans to exist. The similar self-centered and materialistic quantum supposition declares that the universe won’t exist if there were no human observer to look at it.
There is a widespread disbelief or presumption that the physical reality exists only in material domain that is accessible only thru measurements by classical instruments operating in fixed space-time of the classical world. Physicality or physical reality is wrongfully identified solely with pure materialism. As evidenced by the existence of the immeasurable dark energy that may represent a majority (76%) of the universe, the truth may be that a majority of the physical reality may exist in the non-material domain. Holistic Relativity further demonstrates that a wholesome consciousness-integrated approach and theory of science can predict such immeasurable and non-material physical realities as well as the behavior of matter.
Similarly, there is a widespread disbelief and presumption that only biological consciousness represents the real life in the universe. Hence, the searches for the extraterrestrial life continue to look for biological life with a living body – a sort of ET movie character. There is almost a complete ignorance by science of the possibility that universal intelligence could exist as physical realities in a shapeless or size-less form beyond our perceived trinity of matter-space-time.
Eternity and consciousness are two, among others, such physical realities. Since they are predictable or represent-able by the same explicit mathematical models that predict the observed material experiments and measurements, they are as physical as matter, howsoever not measurable with the current state-of-the-art instruments. The physics of Eternity resides in the dilation of time and space as the velocity of the observer approaches the speed of light (an enlightened observer). This is also evidenced in the scientifically measured uniformity of the microwave background radiation observed thru powerful telescopic measurements of the far away universe. As the space dilates, the boundaries of the radiation energy waves smear off leading to the observed uniformity of the background radiation. The figure below shows HR predictions of the observed uniformity in the background radiation via space-time dilation:
Ironically, the mainstream big bang theory erroneously interprets this uniformity in the background radiation as the absolute time zero of creation of the universe rather than the relativistic dilation of time wherein the time dissolves entirely. Because of this erroneous representation of time, the big bang theory is marred with numerous unresolved paradoxes and inconsistencies including the fatal mathematical singularity at time zero.
Eternity is nothing but the ultimate uniformity – ONE WHOLESOMENESS achieved in a total dilation of space and time at the speed of light. Eternity is also synonymous with this massless state of physical being or existence. It also represents the state of eternal existence of the laws throughout the universe. Such self-existent, spontaneous, eternal, and omnipresent awareness of the universal laws is also described as the universal consciousness.
The fully dilated space-time of relativity also represents the physical and mathematical representation of awareness. If an observer is simultaneously everywhere in space and in every moment of time, he/she would be in a state of full awareness. Fully dilated space means that every point in space is same and fully dilated time means that every moment of time is same (past, present, and future all merged into ONE). Hence, full awareness is mathematically same as fully dilated space and time signified by egoless or mass-less state of being or existence.
The relative realities of mass-energy-space-time are mathematically and physically describable within the framework of a consciousness-integrated continuum model of the universe. At the same time, such a model (HR) resolves incompleteness and irresolvable paradoxes of quantum mechanics.
In summary, Eternity and consciousness as well as awareness are physical realities fully describable by Holistic Relativity (HR) and do not have to rely anymore on the paradoxical, dogmatic and metaphysical interpretations of QMCRAP (Quantum Mysticism, CReationism, And Paranormal).

Greetings Dr. Singh,
You know, I am totally down (I agree with you that is) with what you have been communicating, and yet the only step left is practical application. I mean, if any of us do actually achieve an egoless state, which is certainly an uncommon accomplishment; the fact is is that we are still only gaining a subjective certitude, albeit a will-less one, that cannot be communicated to another, in much the same manner of a person stating that they have/had supernatural revelation(s) from God.
In other words, spirituality seems rather like survival of the fittest. Some are spiritually enlightened because they just persistently have faith in a higher power and their faith remains strong no matter what good or evil may come, and usually after great deliberation, these individuals realize “truths” that to them are irrefutable. That is cool. Well, until they come killing you anyway . . .
Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are religions founded upon persons who had direct interaction with God and these three respective religions have had, let us say . . ., mixed results in their effects upon human civilization. I daresay I could cite good and bad about all three different religious truths, as I understand them; but I am tired of revealing just how ignorant my ass is . . . :) :) :)
Yet what all three do have in common is self-control, moderation, the “middle way”: denial of the will to life!
Or, in other words, ‘A man comes with his actions to the end of his determination’, and consequently, ‘when all desires that cling to the heart disappear, then a mortal becomes immortal, and even in this life attains Liberation’. Freedom!
Satyagraha, one-world government, the collective soul of One, denial of desire . . .
Uh-o here come the “religious” capitalists, who’s will is “that of the Lord himself”, monetarily enslaving the Pilgrims!!!
No matter. Unattached but resolute we meet life, clad only with faith, love, and hope . . .
pax vobiscum
Hey Craig,
You are one of the few bright lights remaining at IB. Maybe you and Avtar could both volunteer for Sam Harris.
Sam is presently looking for volunteers for his Reason Project.
The Reason Project is a charitable foundation devoted to spreading scientific knowledge and secular values in society. The Reason Project will draw on the talents of prominent and creative thinkers in a wide range of disciplines — science, law, literature, entertainment, information technology, etc. — to encourage critical thinking and wise public policy.
Be aware though, Sam also says:
"All we need are words like "reason" and "evidence" and "common sense" and "bullshit" to put astrologers in their place, and so it should be with religion”. (HQR?)
This is pertinent a discussion taken from Infinite Play: God + Ego = Man the two are inseparable buddies. Best to keep the ego minimized with wisdom to guarantee a good experience. The ego can get one in a lot of trouble yet it serves a divine purpose. Often it provides the puppet strings. As much as one would like to keep it under raps it can flare up and is always lurking in the background. Dealing with ego from another point of view is an even greater challenge; however there is an art to it. Untamed Ego, or self under the duress of egoic illusion from another point of view is intelligence impaired and usually without a conscious source connection.
As one covered before it is the awareness that comes from self realization that dissolves the ego yet one doesn’t keep their attention on this awareness for any length of time it gets boring. In other words ego deflation comes from a knowing of what you really are. I didn’t say “who” because this implies character traits and fiction. Yet one doesn’t want to be who they really are, they want to be man, for the experience of knowing many.
The goal is to achieve this sweet spot, where one sees their own being, in the self, of all of creation, a truth, maintaining the highest resonance of all love, and one knows compassion for all of creation. In this scenario the ego is somewhat trivial, it exists in harmony with spirit and becomes an essential agent of the divine for the obtainment of certain types of experience that give depth to the soul.
Harmony and a good experience are all about wisdom and compassion.
So the goal is not to entirely destroy ego, so much as to tame it. This is when the lion lays down with the lamb. What one would seek to destroy is the ego’s grip on the world and the establishment of it’s fictions that lead one from the truth to disharmony. The intention is to destroy the popular fictions, and free all of your self from the illusions. That is the great challenge that a God faces, to enter a world deep in the illusion, dense with the lower vibration energy, a literal hell, speeding it up, to create a heaven. That is the game that God plays. One loses one’s self, finds ones self, and then wakes up all of ones self. You should see the celebration.
The human brain is the greatest of all measurement devices and one of the most advanced instruments in the universe. The issue with it is that only one scientist can look through the eye piece and wear the headphones at a time, so to speak. That is why they call it subjective.
Ego is the spice of life, and it can get pretty spicy.
Infinite being is behind it all and the finite beings it's resulting expression.
"There is a common misunderstanding that Eternity and Consciousness are paranormal or epiphenomena rather than physical phenomena." ~Avtar
Doesn't make any sense does it, with eternity simply being infinite duration and consciousness being life nothing paranormal about that. We might even say time is one of the first products of creative consciousness.
I guess there are two perspectives related to the label “Eternity”; Eternity as timelessness, (no time) and eternity as everlastingness (not subject to time induced entropy).
Like everything it is a circle of thought that ultimately being recursive feeds back on itself sort of like a dog chasing it’s tail and as we all know a circle has no beginning or end unless we put a mark on it.
The difference between finite and infinite being is that the finite self marks the beginning at birth and the infinite self has no marks.
And as Craig pointed out.
Talking about it is a waste of “time”, unless there is some practical application like warp drive so we can experience traveling through the Galaxies. These practical applications come from doing with math that works.
Can something of infinite supply be wasted?
The futility of it all is that one is a leaf on the river of life. One can intend to go to the south bank and sometimes you do, and sometimes you don’t.
The leaf may fool itself into thinking it is navigating the river, but the truth is wherever the flow of the river goes, is where the leaf travels, the flow being divine intention, the expansion and evolution of life consciousness.
So the leaf humble with humility, powerless as it is, simply observes and anticipates what possible surprise waits around the next bend in the river.
If you click my name the next surprise around the river bend awaits you, something you have never seen or played with before.
epiphenomena: a secondary phenomenon accompanying another and caused by it; specifically: a secondary mental phenomenon that is caused by and accompanies a physical phenomenon but has no causal influence itself
I always liked that word . . .
peace
Dear empyrius and Richard:
#2: ".. In other words, spirituality seems rather like survival of the fittest. .."
True. The big difference, however, from the Darwinian "Survival" is that the spiritual survival is ultimate and real (timeless and space less and absolute). Darwinian survival is never attained and is a hoax as it only delays death temporarily. A mere prolongation of biological life is not the genuine survival but only an illusion of it in terms of illusory time. The life of a worldly biological survival alone is an unrealized life in a universal sense.
#2: "……..the only step left is practical application. I mean, if any of us do actually achieve an egoless state, which is certainly an uncommon accomplishment; the fact is is that we are still only gaining a subjective certitude, albeit a will-less one, that cannot be communicated to another, in much the same manner of a person stating that they have/had supernatural revelation(s) from God."
#5: "….Talking about it is a waste of “time”, unless there is some practical application like warp drive so we can experience traveling through the Galaxies. These practical applications come from doing with math that works."
As opposed to what you say above, the practicality of the egolessness is absolute and real. Without egolessness, all that is achieved materially and measurably is paradoxical, temporal, and fraught with chaos, complexity, divergence, and ultimate demise. Alexander, the Great, came to that conclusion at the end of his life after having conquered the world. No matter how much one glorifies the practicality of material, wealth, power, and fame, and all other so-called worldly achievements of the ego, in the end they prove meaningless, purposeless, and discontent-full as death snatches it all away in a moment without even asking permission.
The real question is - "What if anything is meaningfully and purposefully practical without egolessness?" The so-called worldly "Practicality" is nothing but a brainchild of the same ego that resists every notion of being dissolved. Falling for it is the ultimate victory of the ego. Practicality, furthermore, is also an illusory conviction of the materialist-only and measurement-only characteristic of the illusory ego that invokes the same very questions on every purposeful action - "Is it worth it?", "What is in it for me?", "What is its cost/benefit?", "Is there a material gain in it?" etc etc. It is like Satan stopping one to enter the door of virtues.
Further, the incommunicability of egolessness stands only towards the egotistic person. An egoless person fully grasps what is even unsaid by another egoless person. The communication of egolessness is thru the medium of universal consciousness and not the dictionary words and grammar of the language. The common misunderstanding is that communication is only possible thru words said and written. Let us not forget that 96% of the universe communicates and lives thru us unmanifested, unsaid, and unwritten. Unfortunately, the barrier of the egotistic Practicality never lets us hear or see it.

Dear Alexandre:

Richard Feynman would be satisfied with HR since it not only agrees with all the data that Einstein's relativity theory agrees with but also resolves key paradoxes of the observed universe and quantum mechanics, which stands as a paradoxical and incomplete theory failing to explain 96% of the universe.
Now, please do some homework of your own, and read my book and previous posts to get detailed answers rather than keep repeating the same question/comment over and over.

Sorry Avtar, the question Richard Feynman would ask you remains the same:
Would you please be kind enough and let us know where (places), when (dates) and who (names) conducted experiments validating Holistic Quantum Relativity?
“It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong.
Richard Feynman
Can pure space (eternity), without the attributes of particles be considered physical? No, not really, because the physical is represented by the energy particle. We need to use different words when dealing with Eternity, which is beyond but within the working principle of the universe, and not possible to measure by anything physical. It is an Awareness of being in a formless, colorless, nameless, still realm that holds the universe together just by existing. The very fact that particles are left outside keeps Eternity timeless and perfect. Kurt
Yes, there is a state being where one does not see any boundaries and the world is not divided into parts in the mind. This could be called egoless, yet one still does have a unique point of view from which the universe is observed creating an individual identity.
So I suppose it is all about how one defines ego. So one does not destroy the ego defined as individual identity, one removes it from isolation such that it is connected.
Infinite being is a creature of experience, and that is what it's all about. There are many things that cannot be experienced directly by omnipotent being, yet one can experience these things through man and finite being.
The universe is for entertainment purposes only, don’t take it to seriously unless you love drama and become a unknowing character in the divine comedy.
~Infinite Play the Movie
It is a fiction and that one should sacrifice the now for some future heaven or eternal bliss. A trick used to get the subservient to settle for less, so a few can have more! Find your bliss in the now, and experience it to the fullest, it can be obtained with wisdom and intelligence and compassionate being both noun and verb.
Good stuff!
I agreee with that, there is still a small residue of the ego that remains, while one has a body. In order to see Absolute space you have to leave everything you ever known behind, and once you see, your point of view changes, and you understand reality, which this isn't. You now act accordingly, and the ego dosn't influence your decisions in life anymore. It is small and insignificant, and later in life it will be even smaller. Kurt
Avtar asks:
“Now, please do some homework of your own, and read my book and previous posts to get detailed answers rather than keep repeating the same question/comment over and over”.
Please be informed, Avtar, I do my homework. How about you answering the question? Where, when and who validated HQR?
I promise, you answer and I won’t post the question. Deal?
That sounds about right Kurt, something like “residual ego”.
If ego were a balloon it would grow bigger and bigger, inflated with fiction, till it gets popped by the pin of a truth, and one is left holding it's tattered remains which will not hold air or fictions any longer.
I liked that, Kurt
Alexandre, Feynman is dead. That he would ask said question of Avtar, right now, has to be theoretical. He may well have changed his mind with the experience that moved him on from,, this his scientific material world. As I see it, Avtar is providing a wake.
Avtar, let’s try to meet at Stanford!
Against Ignorance: Science Education in the 21st Century with Lawrence Krauss and Richard Dawkins
at Aurora Forum at Stanford University.
The Aurora Forum at Stanford University will host a discussion with the physicist Lawrence Krauss and biologist Richard Dawkins.
Sunday, March 9: 2.00 - 4.00pm
This event will be open to the public. Details to be announced soon.
http://auroraforum.org/
Richard Dawkins does not need an introduction.
Krauss is one of the only living scientists that Scientific American has referred to as a 'public intellectual', and is the only physicist ever to have been awarded the highest awards of all three major US Physics Societies: the American Physical Society, the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the American Institute of Physics.
Hi Alexandre:
#19:
Great idea! I look forward to see you at Stanford.
Please send me your contact cell phone number at avsingh@alum.mit.edu.
If we can get Krauss to pay attention to HR formulations, that would be great.
Are you affiliated with Stanford physics dept? I have tried to contact folks there but they exclusively work on String Theories and quantum field theories with no interest in relativity.
More later…..

Avtar
Dear Avtar and Fellow-Students,
I have recently been watching some interviews on Youtube.com with David Wilcock, author of "The Divine Cosmos", "Convergence" and "The Science of Peace". I highly recommend these video interviews as they will open important avenues of comprehension for you regarding the cosmic laws of order. The interviews are listed under: Project Camelot Interviews David Wilcock.
I hope you will enjoy them.

Wow, this is an incredible post Avtar and I enjoyed every precious word. Amazing! As is makes perfect sense! ... even though I personally don't like the QMCRAP icon or anything said against another's belief or reality such as mystics, etc. :-). I think judgment is better left unsaid, look at how distasteful my response became when I add judgment. So now off to read the other responses.
Love, Char
Just to say to Richard that I really liked your responses above and your thought is fresh and alive, as that really comes thru in your words.
I don't believe in a satan, as it's just means adversary to God or anti-evolution.
I know, scientist don't appreciate mystics or religious folks, but there must be a common ground without the name calling .... QMCRAP :-) ouch!
Love, Char
Hi Char4:
#23:
QMCRAP is not intended for name-calling but to bring home the basic point that how misleading and distorted the realities presented by Quantum Mysticism (which even Richard Feynman and Einstein did not understand due to its incompleteness and weirdness), Creationism, and Paranormal are. They have misled humanity to illusions so far away from the actual observed universe that no name-calling or truth-calling would repair the damage already done. The universal reality or true God in eternity and consciousness may have been hijacked in the name of incomplete and weird science (QM - What the Bleep …???), metaphysics, and temporal hallucinations.
Awakening is the intended objective not name-calling, in the hope that millions who have been taken aback by QMCRAP would wake up to the universal reality as we observe thru the actual universe and as also seen by Einstein and spiritual masters.
Sorry, if it seems offending to some or many; but universal truth and reality stand at their own and not on liking or disliking by masses. The wake-up call is often not very pleasant but made for the ultimate good of the people sleeping or day-dreaming thru the fire. It is compassionate and not a violent call. I hope people do not miss the message in its distorted misinterpretation as the "name-calling".
Regards,
Avtar
OK. Thanks for explaining why you use QMCRAP ... it's such a funny name that really grabs me in the gut. But what you say is true, so I will behave myself ... I will try really hard. I personally think waking up is very painful, but then again burning while asleep is not to palatable either. I'm sorry, as I can get very playful and sometimes, I should just get serious.
Hey thanks Avtar. I am always drawn to your posts and you are surely a wise person. By nature, I was born with a scientific mind, as well as mathematically capable. It was my second skin, but I never really made it past high school, except for business college, as life thru me a hard ball that I have enjoyed playing with and to this day I do not regret my choice, as I've learned a lot about life. However, I still cannot resist science and math, if for nothing else but to play with it. And no, I am not learned or a scientist as everyone knows here, so I have read something to understand it, since a lot of it is new from 30 years ago. This part, I really like, as so much as changed in this area. One of these days, I will get your book.
Love, Char
