Livestock production is responsible for 18 percent of greenhouse gas emissions measured in CO2 equivalent, a share 38 percent higher than that emitted by all the world's vehicles. Domesticated animals worldwide are the source of 37 percent of all human induced methane, with most of that coming from intestinal fermentation of ruminants. They also are the source of 65 percent of human-induced nitrous oxide, the great majority from manure.
Methane and nitrous oxide are exceedingly more potent greenhouse gases than carbon dioxide. iLivestock are also behind almost two-thirds of all human-induced ammonia emissions, which contribute significantly to acidification of ecosystems.
A pound of beef takes three-quarters of a gallon of oil to produce, according to National Geographic. A 1,250 pound steer essentially embodies 283 gallons of oil. Thirty-five calories of fossil fuel are needed to produce a single calorie of beef protein. By comparison, only two calories of fossil fuel are required to produce one calorie of tofu.

1. There are no recorded evidences of the green house effect in the history before the advent of fossil fuel while there were as much animals? Why?
2.Cars do not give us milk.
3.We can not eat cars.
4.We are also animals, robots can do all the work with much more efficiency as compared to what we do. Then why we are living. We are not needed for the survival of this planet.
5.Why to use cars when buses and trains can do?

Great conclusion! Kudos!
Well, then , Zappy, you threw some numbers on our face...
I hope you throw some more numbers to enlighten and convince the dimwits and skeptics amongst us...
1) Exactly how much more "plant protein" needs to be grown to supplement the human needs of say..if everyone on Earth turns into a vegan?
2) How many calories do you need to spend on fossil fuel to cultivate more cropland? How much more forest are you going to cut down? I heard that every possible land available for agriculture has already been exploited, and still a vast majority of people in third world countries are malnourished.
3) How do you fertilize more crops, with out the Lifestock manure? How much more energy are you going to expend to manifacture artificial fertilizers?
4) If "meat" is inefficient, so is "milk", how do you substitute for this if Diaries are a major Green House gas emitters?
5) How do you sustain places on the globe where agriculture of cereal crops is simply not possible due to climate and geography? Where animals can be bred on grasslands?
There are several more questions...
but if your arguments are valid, this single "reason" out of your 101 reasons, is enough to address all the food problems of the entire world..maybe you should win a noble prize in economics...if you can back up you claim of the efficiency of 100% Vegan World... KUDOS!
PS. "being kind"...hmmm...wonder why God made humans omnivorous. And some animals carnivorous. And farm animals herbivorous which can digest cellulose from plants which the human digestive system (with the malfunctioning "appendix") simply cannot. Its the food chain, stupid! (Hint: vehicle emissions can be reduced, and so is Lifestock emissions, with more efficient practices. Without farm animals more people will be malnourished due to increased cost/protein(not just calories) of plant source.
