With the contents of the mind being emptied/kept into the computers the human race is preparing itself for samadhi (emptying mind of all information/thoughts), to be fit for the next Age, the Age of Wisdom.

We have not yet seen the heavy duty shifting that will occur.

We can be assured of new and interesting phenomena.

I can see so many things unfolding giving sight to our future, but it would take too long to articulate them, the mind can process and produce the results or insight in a flash, and all the detail it uses to do so is often beyond the grasp of linear consciousness.

The process of change has been hidden from sight in a massive peer to peer, peer to many intangible dialogs, yet the sum of this dialog becomes apparent and realized in the tangible.

I would love to spend the whole day researching, developing and writing but that is not feasible at the moment.

Discovery, invention and solutions are approaching light speed compared to the previous momentum.

Implementation speed is the big question??? It requires a very special management and newly structured systems and approach

It will not be business as usual anymore, and things will not stay the same for any length of time.

Most of all the delay of what is in my mind and it’s manifestation in the realm is quickening. The latency between thought and corresponding manifestation shortens, and the speed at which needed information makes it’s self available unprecedented.

Yes, Derek I am working the slash dot crowd now and it is all about to go much faster. Then will follow the actual applications and functional mechanisms, to transfer power from the few to the many.

I learned a while back with the beginning of the Internet that I can just suggest with concept and detail and it becomes manifest.

Slashdot itself by the way has an excellent technology to support moderated Socratic dialog, voting and rating.

This is the Slashdot effect phase of the (R)evolution we are talking millions of very intelligent people often taken advantage and abused by management, government, and companies. They are also somewhat more adept at seeing through the fictions.

The Monolithic Bureaucratic and Monopolistic corporations and industries are no longer congruent with rate of change and the needed efficiencies, for sustainability, adaptability and our evolution. They are to slow, resist change, and use to much energy and extract more value than they put into the system they host an ego domain, propagating fear and fiction. Sure there are individual exceptions, I am speaking collectively.

Unless of course they change and embrace a more holistic approach, they will eventually be the cause of their own demise.

Sounds like a good story doesn’t it?

In order to deal with knowledge moving and changing so rapidly we can not hold onto traditional thought processes.

Once on a long road trip I noticed I could let my mind and judgments relax. Instead of focusing on a few individual things that were passing by I was able to see everything going by. It was tricky at first but with practice it got easier to maintain. Eventually I could even talk and do it. I was able to absorb more information the more I relaxed my mind.

I see a gyroscope a s great example of this exponential growth. When sitting on a table motionless it knows one reality. Make it spin and it takes on a completely different reality. The faster it goes the more balanced it becomes. While on the table motionless it has all the potential of this other reality but is not experiencing it.

It seems very obvious that we are growing faster and faster. It also seems inevitable that we will reach a place where knowledge and technology will grow so fast that it seem to want to spin out of control but I believe it will balance out like a gyroscope.

I am wondering what will happen to an ordinary human being with an ordinary brain if the computers can exceed the capabilities of the brain.For thousands of years human brain has been active as a result of solving problems and engaging in complex activities.With the advent of powerful computers I fear that human brain will deteriorate and eventually will be rendered slow and useless.

You mean over eons...? (If so, evolutionary science suggests you doubts are totally misplaced) Or you mean in a single life span of a human..let's say in your lifetime?...depends on you.

By "evolutionary science" I mean both 'biological' and 'cultural' evolution...

(Hint: the offspring of a braindead person can be a great genius who can effectively use his brain functions. Btw, you need humans with brains to run, program and service the computers.)
