lack of courage on a mass scale
'supposed to'
red flag words those
The common thing is that we let everything slip out of our own hands.
If we can take responsibility for our own life into our own hands again and step by step start to explore our life at our own speed, the liberation from old built restrictions brings us closer to our true self.
And the above question tells us that this is high time!
This process is now going on, this growth possibility is now within everyone’s reach and we only have to choose for it.
Mieke
Global-Warming, Terrorism, Communal-Riots, Corruption, Domestic-Violence, Divorce, Poverty?
Ask Avatar Singh, Mieke, all this is just an illusion (of evolution, of less than absolute consciousness). Destroy your ego instantly with your free will guided by him and all these things will just disappear into
Moreover, with our professed choiceless awareness how can we yet choose lol?
Harb, in fun mood lol.
Hi Harb,
Very funny :)
With my choiceless awareness i am not even aware of the fact that i have an ego lol
But I do know a lot about responsibility and about improving one's own (illusory) world to make it exactly the way my inner truth tells me to!
And then indeed choice is not necessary anymore cause everything then is as it is and I am as I am :)
Love, Mieke
Yes, but I would include illness too. What they all have in common is that they all appear in consciousness.
Yes,but I would include illness too. What they all have in common is that they appear in consciousness.
Lack of flow of life-energy
Absence of total-clear-self inside bubble-problems
People, that is the common denominator.
Marraige is something that needs to be completely re-vamped so that it fits in with the modern world. It just doesn't work anymore in a modern society. The only marraiges that seem to work are ones where by women do not have equal rights to men.
This is of course unacceptable and wrong, but the figures seem to show that equal rights for both sex have a lot to do with the failure of marraiges.
Personaly I think the importance of Marraige is greatly overstated. A piece of paper does not validate a persons love or commitment to another.
Marraige should become more like applying for a Vehicle License on your car. It makes everything legal but after ten years say; the marraige expires and needs to be renewed. if one or both parties decide they do not want to be legally married anymore then they do not renew. Simple as that.
All of these things you have mentioned are just the nature of the beast.

The lack of harmony, of course, cries out in all relations. But what is this in a civilization of six billion individuals? At the root of this heavily populated civilization is the lack of democracy. I say this is the root becausew we alone are responsible for the lack of democracy, which alone can bring union and harmony. Everything, then, depends on the mode of assiciation. All must learn how to be citizens, how to discover a democracy, because the human species was not designed for complex associations and we are failing to realize this dream as a direct consequence of this human limitation.

Most of, if not all, who are involved in personal negativism, feel deep down in themselves that the world owes them. There are no fairy-tale endings in this world.
Yes Dara, you expressed exactly where the problem is. We thought that too after World War II was ended.
Yet we emerged together and we were very grateful to our liberators who helped us a bit on our way, but in the end we had to do it ourselves.
I am very proud of being of the generation that still knows what it is to be hungry, hungry for food, hungry for love. Yes I blamed the world for a couple of years until I realized there was no-one to blame but myself.
Well that changed my life and for the good. And the moment I realized this truth, life went great without me having to do so much for it. Just be grateful for what I already had and go with the flow. Thereby taking the responsibility for my own life without blaming anyone anymore.
Human being, rescue yourself! Be positive and radiate this to your fellow beings and what you radiate you receive back, millionfold!
Love to all

Every one has an o in. People just don't stop to find it.
o
you did find it!
quess it's time for us
to step outside
the circle
Hi Kate and Edmund,
And by stepping outside the circle, the journey really begins..........
:)
Finding new ways afresh in new days in a new world.
Scientifically I would say: at Planck's level, everything is open :)

Yes, ultimately, the ignorance is the cause. The age of darkness (ignorance) is the period when the Natural Law is revealed only in 25% while the other three quoters are being covered, as if by smoke ( of ignorance ). It is the Kali Yuga. The time of transformation, decay and strife, yet because of that it is the time of greatest longing, it is the time of the prophets and the revelations, the time of establishment of great religions and the time of profound spiritual teaching.
All the negative trades, mentioned in the theme, have one thing is common, namely - the wrong action ! It is the wrong action which leads men astray from the righteous path, which harms the doer and his environment, resulting in accumulation of a bad karma. Thus the wheel keeps moving.
Yet who knows which action is right and which one is wrong ? Fundamentally it is the theme of all the scriptures. From the Abrahamic (The Old Testament, The Gospel of Christ & The Qu'ran) in the west to the Brahmanic revelations ( Bhagavad Gita, Brahma Sutra etc. ) in the indian subcontinent.
The scriptures deal with the practical solution to answer the most perplexing dilemma: What is the right conduct for a human being to perform in any given scenario, from environmental to domestic, from the global issues to the family ones. All scriptures have the same structure divided in two parts: the esoteric, ''other-worldly'' (dealing with the actual experience of the divine by means of direct contact) and the exoteric, ''this-worldly'',
emphasizing the need for the obedience, law and order.
It is because, before the actual communion with the divine takes place, the human action will always suffer from the subjective motivation based on partial understanding of any given situation ( in life). So for the majority of the followers the ''this-worldly'' law is an injunction that must be observed in order to keep the harmony. Often (historically) those who fervently tried to observe the ( exoteric) ''right path'' have never felt comfortable with those who had the actual taste of reality and more than often dented the scriptural truth towards the fixed dogma of what they've understood to be the only path to righteous being.
The Bhagavad Gita's message is (perhaps) the most unapologetic in its clear exposition of truth. The only way to the right acting is to gain to that level which is the basis of all actions:
Yogasthah kuru karmani - Established in Unity perform action ( Bhagavad Gita, II, 48 )
Moreover, the action from that level of unified field of self-referral consciousness ( transcendental ) leaves the actor free from the binding influence of action performed. It is also known as skill in action:
Yogah karmasu kaushalam - Yoga ( Unity ) is skill in action ( Bhagavad Gita, II, 50 ) Action conducted under the influence of self-referral intelligence, is the ''skill in action'', which is the secret of successful life.
No amount of ''common sense'', ''a good will'' or ''being responsible'' is enough to act rightly and to perform the right action, because all those notions are always, always individually bound by man-made concepts and however noble in their agenda will always fall short of the action performed in freedom from the karmic influences. Someone would say the right ''education'' etc, but no amount of (relative) knowledge can make man act with pure intent. The history shows that some of them most intelligent and educated beings on the planet have fell victim to the terrible ethical compromises. Take the scientists, Albert Einstein for example, being a genius never the less helped American government to create the atomic bomb knowing well it will be used ( tested ) on people.
The absolute right action is based on one's level of awareness which in turn rests on one's status of being established in the Self. That is the only criteria for the right action. When man acts without longing, freed from the duality of the opposing nature, firmly established in Self-referral state, he/she is fit for the action which always promotes peace, light and evolution.
Jai Guru Dev
Dear Igor, your recent contributions to this community are very much appreciated. The clarity in your outlook shines through brightly and illuminates all before it.
Dear Igor,
"The absolute right action is based on one's level of awareness which in turn rests on one's status of being established in the Self. That is the only criteria for the right action."
That does not take away the fact that a woman who has given birth can act like that and also have responsibility :)
Sometimes choices have to be made.

# 18 Dear Mieke,
I am not sure if I understand your response, and I am not sure you've understood mine either. Never mind, all is fine, I hope you don't mind me saying this, but my comments are often rather extensive, it worth re-reading them again.
With Love,
igor
P. S. I still haven't responded to your email-letter, but I have been writing it in my head so to speak, I will spell it out if not today tomorrow. I hope that's OK with you.
# 17 Dear sWORDSman, ( love your name ! )
Thank you for your kind words. Humbly appreciated.
P. S. To clarify further on the theme of the right action, we borough another quote from the Gita.
'' Arjuna said:
What is it that impels a man to
commit sin, even involuntary,
as if driven by force...
The Blessed Lord said:
It is desire, it is anger, born of
Rajo-guna, all consuming and most evil.
Know this to be the enemy here on earth. ''
( Bhagavad Gita, III, 36-37, by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi )
According to the science of Yoga, manifestation in Nature takes place when there is a spur between the three primordial energies which constitute Nature itself. Sattva ( equilibrium, light ), Rajas ( kinetic principal, motion, energy ) and Tamas ( inertia, stupor ). Whence Rajas is incessant motion and Tamas is the certain stage where the motion is being checked into something stable, with Sattva acting as a balancing agent between the other two. Further on the gunas represent the psychological conditioning of a being: Rajas gives birth to desire and passion, which leads to anger; Tamas is responsible for the stagnation, immobility and ignorance; while Satva promotes peace, light and well-being.
So Rajas is responsible for motion, it establishes contact of the senses with their objects, which overshadows the Self by way of attachment or aversion (to particular experiences), which creates impetus to act involving the self (as separate from the Self). When Self-consciousness manifests as vibration it becomes conscious of itself - than the mind is born with the thought being the product of the whole process. Thought develops into a desire moving towards a specific direction. When the flow of desire is obstructed by another flow, the energy point of collision is where the anger is being born, which destroys the smooth flow of the desire.
( In simple human terms it is called frustration, yet we all know that frustration has a point and when experienced over and over generates tremendous stress in the nervous system, clogging it to the reception of finer vibrations.)
Now, anger is a distractive emotion, above all because it sends the impulses of gross vibrations (impressions) deep into the delicate layers of the system, thus strengthening the attachment or aversion to certain experiences. That in turn binds the mind firmer to the senses which overshadows the subtler experiences (of inner bliss) . These are the mechanics of the working of the human nervous system, whenever one is subjected to the grosser vibration it is always at the cost of the finer ones. In the state of ignorance, the dynamics of thought-desire-anger is behind every conflict and every problem in this world.
Rajo Guna lies at the basis of all the constructive and destructive forces of nature, desire being born of it shares the same quality. So desire itself is not to be blamed. It is the superimposition of the whole process ( motion-thought-desire ) onto the Self which overshadows the experience of bliss and thus drives the mind further out of its source making it the prisoner of the senses. In the state of ignorance desire overshadows one's own real nature which is absolute bliss-consciousness. The outcome is life subjected to those miserable conditions mentioned in the post of the theme.
Yet not for the enlightened, recognized the Self to be his own self, everything, including desire, flows on its own accord and nothing can obscure his real nature.
What do we make out of it ? How can an average man act before he/she gains realization ? That's where the most uncomfortable truth comes into: we've lost the authority of the religious code of behavior yet haven't gained the state of enlightenment, acting as kids who think because they can play computer games they know the real thing.
The truth is, before the inner light shows one the way, there is no other but to follow the ten commandments and the yamas with the nyamas. The trouble of our age is that we've lost the authority of the revealed truth, blinded by the self-righteousness of the modern day of (pseudo) freedom of choice, yet this is due to the same old pattern: the superimposition of this and that .... the time is to cut it asunder.
Jai Guru Dev
Hi Igor,
Perhaps no need, i've given you already a lot of inspiration :)

The Question: Is there anything common amongst: Global-Warming, Terrorism, Communal-Riots, Corruption, Domestic-Violence, Divorce, Poverty?
The common factor of those sufferings come on the heels of reflecting poorly-run governments; where tax-payers dollars are spent warring, rather than on caring and building! If those same governments spent as much money on their peoples, as on warring... there would be no sufferings..
Love,
North
There is no such thing as good or bad government.
There is no such thing as good or bad people.
The government is a reflection of the collective state of consciousness of the entire nation.
The head of the fish does not swim against the rest of the body.
When a villain comes to the office to lead the nation he merely reflects the aggression
( based in ignorance) of collective sum of the (nation's) heartbeats.
When an enlightened being enters the office or the palace his people rejoicing because
he is mirroring their purity.
It takes the courage (& wisdom) to acknowledge this principal which governs the planets and the brian compartments inside of our heads.
I hear: What about Obama or Hilary ? There is no Obama and there is no Hillary outside of our selves. Each of us carry the portion of both of them.
As well as the beings like Osama and yes we also have the winged Gabriel in each of us.
Whom do we give the preference ? Whom do we give our heart ?
Sounds simple ? So why than we carry on blaming our own shadows ?
Perhaps it's the time to stop placing responsibility on the government ?
Perhaps it's the time to ask ourselves: ''What am I bringing to this world ?''
''Is my heart stilled enough to reflect the simplicity of existence ?''
After all we all agree Truth is simple.
Love you my american self.
Jai Guru Dev
In a democracy - as the ruled so the ruler.
In a dictatorship - as the ruler so the ruled.
And in an and and relationship :)

I mean, what about the so-called "Third way"?
Mieke
"The Third Way philosophy seeks to adapt enduring progressive values to the new challenges of he information age. It rests on three cornerstones: the idea that government should promote equal opportunity for all while granting special privilege for none; an ethic of mutual responsibility that equally rejects the politics of entitlement and the politics of social abandonment; and, a new approach to governing that empowers citizens to act for themselves.
The Third Way approach to economic opportunity and security stresses technological innovation, competitive enterprise, and education rather than top- down redistribution or laissez faire. On questions of values, it embraces "tolerant traditionalism," honoring traditional moral and family values while resisting attempts to impose them on others.
It favors an enabling rather than a bureaucratic government, expanding choices for citizens, using market means to achieve public ends and encouraging civic and community institutions to play a larger role in public life.
The Third Way works to build inclusive, multiethnic societies based on common allegiance to democratic values. "
This all was being common talk in the days of Bill Clinton, Tony Blair and in Europe for instance our own Dutch prime minister at that time Wim Kok.
Would this way still be a "new" way to perhaps become a valid one for the whole world?
Mieke
#24-Igor... I stand corrected, thankyou for the awakening : ) You are right in your perspective, that everything reflects the "whole" as we are merely the sum of its parts...
well said, Igor!

Harb.. perfect!!
Mieke.. perfect "way"
I am glad I read these comments today, as I am less confused now, than I were a moment ago : )

# 25 Our beloved Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi used to say:
'' Damn democracy - its a utopia of a modern age. How can
a vote of a largely ignorant crowd direct the right way of
the nation ? '' the Guru used to add: '' Blind leading the blind...''
Without the parental role of an enlightened government of people
who administer all their actions from that level which is beyond
the particularities of individual nature.
As I said in # 24 - it takes a courage, a lot of courage and an
insight to realize there is no one ''outside'' to be blamed.
Personally, I would love to invite you to partake in the pure
knowledge by reading Maharishi's addressing the Indian
Government, where the Guru fully unfolds the real purpose
of politics, in the ''Celebrating Perfection in Administration
~ Creating Invincible India'' ISBN 81-7523-015-0
After all many of you hold Deepak Chopra as their teacher
and guide, and we've read Deepak's confession:
''... all that I know I've learned from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.''
P. S. Moreover Harb, democracy, as the meaning of the word
implies, has never happened the way it was in a very brief
period in the 5th century BCE, in Greece. And even than it
was the privilege (along with responsibility) of the free man,
for as we know women and slaves weren't eligible to add
their loud shout at Athenian Agora.
Democracy of England did not stop an ex-prime minister
Tony Blair to send the troops to Iraq and to Afganistan
despite the largest in history protests on the streets of
London. The demos of the nation cried out loud: ''No !''
yet one man, even against the will of his own party,
said: ''Yes''. Is it better over the Atlantic ? I don't see it.
P. S. 2. The dictatorship is the manifestation of the mental
sickness on the massive scale of a collective psyche.
Anyone wishes to know more about diseases on the
collective level, please look into the fabulous book by
Dr David Frawley; on Indian Astrology and Vedic Seers.
The book highly praised by Deepak as well
# 28 Dear Mieke,
I'd like to share with you something from a personal experience, in relation to the ''Third Way Culture'' as they promote themselves in their exclusive website. Also, my apologies for a massive delay in replying to your wonderful email-letter, yet you wouldn't be disappointed its almost written.
I have an old friend, R. C. he is of your age and he is a rare, I would say ''the last of the Mohican'' in his field, the man of an amazing eye in visual art and art consultancy is his domain. For example he is one of the people who decide the authenticity of the art object at Paris' Louvre Museum.
We've know each other since the winter of 1992, and R. have always been my supporter and admirer of my work, we've shared long and challenging discussion on art and art history, from the ancient times to the most recent trends. Being an english intellectual R. is in a class of his own and it was always stimulating and inspiring to have talk.
With time he observed the trajectory of my personal evolution and gradually our discussions became more and more esoteric, I mean the art has never existed for me for the art's sake, and the element of science, philosophy and metaphysics was always present there. On witnessing my dramatic and total transformation in the year 2002, R. tried to distance himself, and that was normal for me, most of my associates, even friends, those not involved in spiritual practice, felt that ''my roof has gone'' ( gone mad ).
When the time brought a lot of unexpected illness and suffering to his family, R.'s wife came along ( at that time I was already practicing Pranic Healing for a couple of years with successful treatment of cancer of various parts of the body and to a wide age group ). Still, it took another couple of years before R. was able to relate to me again, and it was the most interesting and touching moment. Because despite having an amazing insight into the beauty, being an incredibly well educated & well-read, R. nevertheless strayed away from ''too spiritual'' approach as if fearing something, and most of all having a certain mistrust towards the guru-thing and all that kind of stuff which requires surrender of any kind. ( Sounds familiar ? )
Last year ( through my contacts ) I've invited him to work on the installation of the earliest Qu'ran in the world, here in Uzbekistan which is now being put on display in a specially build mausoleum in an old holy area of the city.
During R.'s four visits over five months period, we've spent great deal time together talking, going out for meals, having pick-nicks in the mountains, taking trips to historical parts of the ancient land. As I am no longer in my intense sadhana and can even have a glass of a good red wine, though being a complete vegan plus no onions and no garlic ( hopping sidha diet, ask Deepak he knows ), I have no problem sharing a meal with someone who is less selective in the choice of his food. One of our talks took place in an ancient town of Khiva, where the setting was to match the subject, with the minarets and the full moon siting on the verandah, as if there was no tomorrow. It is when R. asked to be guided, basically asking to help in the impossible situation of an intellectual albeit an outstanding one, yet still being stuck in the known.
From that moment I've been more open sharing a little of my own personal experiences of reality as well as pointing R's attention to the proved ways for attaining the desired state. We both were enjoying the new dynamics and a new kind of relationship, no it wasn't in any way a teacher and a seeker, it was still very much in the ''western way''. When the push came to the shove, I've shown R. that nothing will quench his quest unless he partakes from the cap of his own heart directly through experiencing silence within. Meditation - was my answer.
We spoke a lot about meditation before and R. knew that my transformation in art was always based on meditational practices. Yet this time around it was that one last step required towards learning of how to do it. It's natural I've referred him to the TM practice.
That's where the surprise was a shock to R. himself above all, for when he was very close and I gave him very different material to read about it ( not just the popular stuff, don't forget he is an intellectual of a certain pedigree so we fed his interest on an exquisite diet of writers like Jean Chevalier ( 1906 - 1993 ) one of the UNESCO's director who was a dedicated TM meditator.)
So when it all came to a blow R. confessed to me, not without the air of superiority that he belongs to ''The Third Way Culture'' and finds all this spiritual stuff from India and China an outlived anachronism.
My reaction was very simple, I've told R. that he is unable to come out of his own cultural setup without which there is no spiritual unfolding.
Before one can enjoy the sweetness of an almond one need to crack the shell no matter how lovely the nut looks on the outside. Some intellectually betrayed minds prefer to have an esthetic appreciation of the form rather than to taste the sweetness of its essence. ( That's fine too).
P. S. My own enquiry into the third way, showed that it is just another of those skillful ways of manipulating the existing notions of what is real in this world by replacing it with the gloss of technological advancement. Yet in its essence it is a kind of post-collonial intellectual liberalism with no real basis in the scientific revolution of our time.
The science, in its utmost frontier came full circle towards the Doctrine of Vibration ~ Superstring Theory - the Theory of the Unified Filed: Superstring symbolizes the Lagrangian of the Superstring, which represents the most compact mathematical expression of the detailed structure of the Unified Filed - its smmetries, components, and self-interaction
My constant experience of this beautifully expressed knowledge is the Throb of Shiva, which vibrates throughout the whole entirety of Universe as ''I am'' the utmost expression of one's true identity of Shivoham ( I am Siva ).
Jai Guru Dev
hi Igor,
re: post 30
'enlightenment' is never a mass movement,
each individual in any place or time,
has the 'chance'
to wake up
to Oneness Awareness,
Hooray!
It is a beautiful afternoon, and just now a butterfly rested upon the bush outside my window.
Time for me to go outside too!
love & blessings,
~ Kate
how can we become aware we do not exist; when first we must exist, so-as to "then" not exist?
Was life intended to be so complicated?
Does meditation unspin the spun wool, so-to speak?
Love,
North
Hi Igor,
Thanks for your extensive sharing of that story in post 31.
Let me first tell you that when this Third Way was born, the collective mind in the West was not yet influenced by 9/11. This happening turned the worldview in the west upsidedown, no matter how successful the eastern guru's before that time have been in this part of the world :)
You could say, after that happening we all were back to zero. The only reason why I mentioned The Third Way here was to find out whether it still has a basis on which a good discussion between east and west could be possible.
Well, according to you only meditation can do it :)
Then let me tell you how I look at it today:
Your remark:
"As I said in # 24 - it takes a courage, a lot of courage and an insight to realize there is no one ''outside'' to be blamed."
I am only too willing to subscribe that :)
Your remark:
"nevertheless strayed away from ''too spiritual'' approach as if fearing something, and most of all having a certain mistrust towards the guru-thing and all that kind of stuff which requires surrender of any kind. ( Sounds familiar ? )"
Well, when I was 34 and had my first experience of oneness, yes that sounds very familiar. There was no personal guru for me to consult with all the fears torturing me at that time, only my family doctor, who did the best job he ever did and I am still so grateful to him :)
But he let ME be the one to solve my questions and I did because of the inner truth I received during that experience of oneness and that has never left me and still guides me wherever I go and whatever I do.
Your remark:
"I've shown R. that nothing will quench his quest unless he partakes from the cap of his own heart directly through experiencing silence within. Meditation - was my answer."
Well, I guess that is what I received after my extensive conversations with my family doctor and one little sentence of the Bhagwan aka Osho during that time and this answers your question too dear North:
Take life by the day and at the end of the day, think back in the opposite way of what you have experienced that day. In that way you are able to unwind that what you have winded yourself up into during the day.
Am still doing Hatha Yoga, am still unwinding in the evening every day, praying for peace. I live in the most peaceful environment one can imagine and enjoy my creative life to the fullest and the past few years even in bliss :)
And I will tell you in the next post the poem I received today when I was in a moment of meditation :)
Lots of love, I understand what you have been trying to reveal to me,
Mieke
A poem from the heart phone
I am always there
I am invincible
I am in the air
I am insusceptible
I am the very ground
I am everlasting
I am totally around
I am that what is unbound
I am the vastness
I am what I am
I am the more and the less
I am always anyone’s guess
So what I am cannot be said
Not through talking, nor thinking in the head
I can only be it
At that special level
Of the heart digit
To which I always travel
:)
Mieke
Awesome poem, Mieke!! It does answer my question, thanks. I can only be what I am. like the digital art I created last night for hours working on it.. I was not any thing significant.. only the "figment" of my own imagination...
Is this "feeling" or "sense" the same in similarity, to which you explain?
Love,
North
Yes, dear North :)
Love,
Mieke
# 32, Dear Kate,
It is a beautiful spring night here in Tashkent too, just rained and the scent of fresh grass and blossoming trees linger in the warm air.
referring to your comment: [ ''enlightenment'' is not a mass movement... ].
Though I understand what you were trying to convey, still,
please let me share and reassure you.
Enlightenment IS but a mass movement. In fact in order for it to ''work'' it has to be a mass movement. In order for it to be a true experience of pure-consciousness on the level of unity-consciousness it has to happen in ''several points'', to ''support'' it as it were.
I plead you ask your favorite scientist on the panel. ( I've got the feeling that Harb is quite cable to explain it from the point of view of the quantum physics ).
I would like to add: The pure-consciousness literally rests on the needle points of each individual-consciousness and that relationship is interdependent. To express it in super-simple theological equation:
'' God makes Man ~ Man makes God.''
It is the relationship between the too extreme poles of the axis of one and the same Reality.
'' God is Man in potentiality ~ Man is God in disguise.''
If you(r awareness is) ready to the radical shift, you can conclude, that there is no Man what-so-ever, but Consciousness alone.
Yet, I am not here to rush your process. I only hope this will deepen your understanding of the way things are, and of course I hope you will still be light as the spring butterfly.
Jai Guru Deva
igor
P. S. Maharishi's TM-Sidhi Program (you can google it), is based on that scientific knowledge. I am a practicing Sidha, just like Deepak, and I've witnessed the most amazing things during the course of the last decade.
In the Non-dual Vedantic scripture, 'Vashistha Yoga', at the end of Vashistha's discourse to enlighten Rama, all those who witnessed it, and the Pallas was packed with guests, Royal family members and servants, everyone attained that state of Rama. There was an incredible silence and rose petals were falling down from Heaven. Even the domestic and wild animals present in the Pallas become realized, just by being there !
I am not making it up, you can find it out for yourself.
Dear North,
Thank you for following up the dialogue. I saw you yesterday in my meditation, you doing fine and going into a fabulous time of personal insight and growth. The outer effects of it will follow as a matter of fact.
With all my Love & Joy
igor
Dear Mieke,
Thank you for sharing you poem with us, filled with immediacy and freshness of a direct contact. I wished to answer earlier, but the internet wasn't working.
I love the ''I am'', as the entry and the base line or the backdrop of the experience ( I'm not sure Avtar would agree though, never mind ). It makes perfect sense.
It is impossible to convey the experience to the scholar, yet it is so simple, when it happens. I mean when it really happens, on coming back to the waking state of consciousness, during the early period, before the nervous system is accustomed ( purified, etc ) enough to transmit the experience of higher states throughout the activity; on being asked what happened one can only say ''I am''.
Whatever the content of the experience there is always I am ~ there is only One [ Who ] experiences. That's why in the tradition of Bharatavarsha the earliest known sound or term for God is Ka. Which literally means ~ Who ?
Your poem fits perfectly with what I am starting to revisit again, the scriptures on which the Kashmiri Shaiva tradition is based. The Shiva Sutras, The Spanda~Karikas, etc. The idea of egoity as universal one, is taken from an entirely ''new'' perspective making Vedantic ego-consciousness ''too straight'' in comparison. I remember Muktananda used to say the same thing, and he loved reading the scriptures until his departure from the body.
I was moved to tears to learn that Maharishi, himself a Shiva-incarnate, would enjoy as a kid whenever he was presented with yet another version or a commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. Our Guru read revealed works all his life not just the hindu ones, but those of other traditions, as well as the works of W. Blake, Milton and T.S. Eliot.
With Love and Bliss,
Jai Guru Dev
Dear Igor.. I had a fine day yesterday!! I feel a surge of new energy..of calm, excitement and unbound joy! The unexplained is unfolding... : )
with all my love and joy,
North
Dear Igor,
( I'm not sure Avtar would agree though, never mind ).
:)
I got inspired by another poem today and placed that on his latest thread:
Resonance to the Universal Tone
Results in never being alone
Gives the fullness of being alive
Gives the joy of joys to "derive"
To be a total humanly collective
Does not deny the individual perspective
It is a double goal to achieve
In a pure totality, a True Love belief
An impersonal totality is without breath
And surely on its way to total death
Yet a conscious centre of creativity
Within each individuality
That can create with Love at Will
Certainly makes life a wonderful thrill
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the prophet of this Web of Intellect and Intelligence (the Internet) inspired me to make that one :)
To be honest, when truth is found, it can be seen in everything and everyone.
Oh, I have so many poems in which I already expressed this, albeit in the Dutch language :)
Today have been busy to sort out what I have written during the past five years. Lots of poems will arise from that again :)
Love and bliss,
Jai Guru Deva :)
Mieke
Mieke,
Wonderful, beautiful !!! I love the smoothness of the simple rhyme... mingling with the meaning without imposing its weight. Really lovely.
I've read it on Avtar's post first, when placing my comment, and second time it feels even better.
Blissful evening to you, gentle soul.
Dear Igor,
I assume that you know that the day before the Maharishi took maha-samadhi, NASA "beamed up" the song "Across the Universe" towards the pole star.
Deepak reminded me of the fact that each verse of that song has Jai Guru Deva at the end.
I immediately sensed the meaning of this wonderful synchronicity. This song, this beautiful verse now travels in our Universe forever :)
This beautiful refrain fills my heart and mind ever since:
Jai Guru Deva
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Want a tantra mantra, here you have one :)
Love, Mieke
Dear Mieke, good morning to you !
Yeh, you've said it. Tantra mantra traversing the ether element.... right through our earthly matter, through own our bodies.
I mean, from the point of view of conceptual art, it's the most outstanding monument the tradition of Self-realization.
A truly Cosmic sculpture !
I've received the NASA news the same day, and the night after, standing/kneeling in front of the Altar and looking at His portrait, a sudden wave of emotion flooded my heart... the following day on learning the news of His leaving the body, that emotion was transformed into incredible peace.
Jai Guru Deva

Wow, wow and wow, Mieke, Igor and North!
HaPpY St. PaTriCk's Day!!
Mieke, beautiful flowing poetry as per your usual grande writtings!! I love the song, Across the Universe by John Lennon. I find it amazing, Yoko Ono has made a peace tower to commemorate Johns life and yearning for global peace, harmony and love. I am moved every time I hear that song...
Here is the Imagine Peace Tower site:

Hi North,
A day of celebration! :)
Well, let's just do that!
I placed another poem on Avtar's thread as a reply to you and Harb and is destined for all, here and there :)
And thanks so much for the Imagine Peace Tower site.
I truly loved the birthday poem of Yoko Ono, so I put the text of it on Avtar's site too.
These two threads have so much in common :)
Hi Harb, expression of art comes for the "science" within :) Thanks for the poem on Avtar's thread, read mine that i placed there.
Love, Mieke
Hi Igor,
"A truly cosmic sculpture" :)
Well am sure you can sculpt that into a Museum piece!
You are a true artscientist too :)
Love, Mieke
