Soul of Taj

Vikas Khanna - March 05, 2008

On Feb 4th,"World Chefs Cooking for Life" hosted "Soul of Taj" at the Taj Mahal in India, the second event in the series of culinary events at the World Wonders. Soul of Taj supports Sankara's Mission to Help Eradicate Curable Blindness in India - Vision 20/20 by 2020.

The first event in the World Chefs series was held at The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt to raise awareness for the needs of travelers with disabilities.

I want to thank so many people and organizations who helped make this possible; Indian Tourism, Taj Khema, The Archaeological Society of India, Arlyn Blake, Kavita Chhibber, Sudhir Syal from Sulekha, Oberoi's Hotel, ifood.tv ,my loving family and our Intent family for their tremendous support .

What a great concept - we tend to view food as a means to satisfy our hunger,to make use of food to actually help people in times of need is something.
I really admire you for initiative to help make a difference in the world using the skills that you excel in

Hillary and McCain 2008 ticket; the establishment has had enough of this nonsense about Muslim niggers "running" for president, and us good Americans must now realize this is a 1 party state, for the rich, by the rich, and only the rich - and all the rest of us are just

niggers.

But hey better a free slave rather than a crucified anarchist!

Uh-oooooooooooo

Wrong thread sorry this was supposed to be on the "open thread".

Hi Vikas,
It's nice to read about Soul of Taj. I remember when you posted about the first event held in Eqypt. I am so glad you are continuing to hold these events, and for the way you care about the issues you support (and the ones who support you :)
love,
~ Kate
