"What is the One question every human being must seek answer to before the end of life?"
A question for about a "question"? (another question)
1) there is no "one question" that can be framed using human language.
2) There is no "must", you cannot speak for the entire humanity from your assumed "enlightened" perspective.
3)There is no "end of life." (yeah...I know you will call it 'biological life')
The answer to the one question that everybody should seek the answer to is.
"Why am I Searching?"
Simon
Is some one in the heaven's
watching over me?
Namely,
GOD
The questionless question, eh, Irv?
Seek no answer, seek seamlessness, perhaps.....
"How come he has more money?"
#6 I'll go meditate on that one, Sumant!
How much you wanna bet that people here come up with many questions that are the 'One' to answer before the end of life.
I don't have a question that must be answered. As soon as a question is answered it just seems to create more questions. A never ending cycle of curiosity. Silly humans.
What happens if we stop asking questions expecting them to be answered?
derek
Hi Avtar,
The one question for me: "Where's the light?"
It replaces the old questions: "Where's the money, where's the food, where's the man, etc. etc.
Deepak is in town tonight and it's an opportunity to generate/radiate light from Seattle. Please join in.
Trish~~
The thought that first came to mind was what the first poster said ...
WHO AM I?
And the second would be ....
WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?
Great question!

"Why everything that is is the way it is?"
How do I get rid of the ancientness of my "negative-roots" karma before my next incarnation in this painful physical form?
Love,
North
It is very sad to seek an answer to the question Holy-Graal.
Me, I am seeking myself
As I know that I am not fine inside myself
As I know that exist an union
A far past-blur vision of union with you
To break the separation-feeling of sufferance
I have come to cross-roads with special-tastes
Of fast-love and divine in the past
Alone or with magical people
So, today I take a decision
To enter into this dark presence-tempest
An empty-zone of myself abandoned
A resolution to go and let go reasons
And this seed of Corn accompanying, unknown
Coming next into Mana
To disappear with me inside my way...

Many people's approach to pain is that it is an infliction, that pain comes upon ones self from somewhere else outside of the self and then inflicts us.
Pain in what ever form is a product that we ourselves manufacture. There is no question about this.
people say "I want to get rid of this pain" as if it is something they have somehow required along lifes journey. A more acurate statement to that would be to say, I am going to drop my pain. I am no longer going to live out the scenario of one who is involved with pain.
Take responsibility for your pain, know your pain as your own creation, your own doing no matter where believe it might have come from.
You must have known a person in your lifetime that was in a lot of pain? and this person is now dead.
Where is the pain now?
If pain is a seperate entity, if it comes from a particular area and then inflicts itself upon a person then surely pain would still be around after the person is not.
But it is not around because Pain is exclusive to the person, it is their own creation, their own doing, their own involvment.
Many people need their pain as a form of Identity also, through pain they can relate to others and gain a sense of recognition through being in pain and others will see this and take pitty on them.
Still, their pain is them, Pain is ones self creation.
It needs not to be gotten rid of, it just needs to be uninvolved from the self.
Karma plays a big part in suffering, one might even say that it is suffering itself or the cause of it.Karma is also what you make it. It is just like a tennis ball that you throw against the wall. The harder you throw the harder it will come back at you. When one acchieves great things in life, there is always a wonderful sense of happiness. This is Karmic also, the more positive your output is in life the more positive your Karma will become as a direct result of that.

Is it possible to transcend questioning?
Todd
Of course this fella Harb has transcended all questions since the time he has known why of all we ask questions in the first place. Only prisoners, whether of body or of mind ask questions.
#14-Simon.. some believe that others are in pain; because of the psychic vampires in their "earthly environment" which leach off the weaker spirits on this planet...those sensitive ones among us; whom long for liberation from said such. It is not uncommon, for humans whom are tender-heart or tender-minded to become subjected to psychic-vampirism. There are many PV's--whom make their craft an art...some believe Deepak is a psychic vampire..feeding financially, off those in pain; not necessarily supporting the issues which cause the pain...?
Of course, this is only theory; as is karma, religion, science, medicine and perspective-opinion.
The lack of empathy though, in the diagnostics of human-behavioural suffering, which rely on: "well, if you don't stop the pain, you must then want pity attribute" ; proves that fundamental attribution errors; caused by mal-diagnosis BY professionals.. result in further harm to the "subject".
Fundamental Attribution Errors: where there is no specific diagnosis..professionals pick a box, they feel the "patient/subject" MIGHT fit in best... they make NO effort, to explore the pandoras-box of the human mind.
The human mind is so vast, and far more complex than mere fitting a square peg into a round hole.
IF the peg does not fit.. I feel we ought to create a fit, through investigation.. not merely throw out the patient with the bathwater, by force-fitting them into categories/labels, of which they do not belong, nor fit; to warrant the abandonement of professionalism mal-diagnosis of fundamental attributions...
Love,
North
And so, in my suffering; I merely am the "reflection" of the errors professionals make in their un-researched "uniqueness of the individual" analysis and theory-based box-cliche'd fundamentals of old theory.
Human minds are so vast; how can we possibly believe..no matter the intelligence of the professional..that there is no uniqueness of individuality?
That is the root.. pity is with the one, whom cannot know the difference.. not within the one, pointing it out(me). ((wink))

Yes Todd, it is....
Becoming non-local at the heartphone :)
At least there we are all one.
What is free will ?
Dear Avtar, is this the Hidden Factor?
The choice less awareness and spontaneous decay?
Non-locally it certainly is! :)
Love from the heartphone,
Mieke
Harb, just one question :)
Through your "blue" name you are giving a link to a website that has expired. Is this your intention?
If so, i will stop with being locally aware :)
Love from the non-local :)
Mieke
To this Fella Harb,
Did you read my question to you on the end of the Antichrist String last week Mr Harb?
Dear North,
Like you said by fitting a round peg in a square hole. Nothing is perfect in the world that we are each presently involved in.
Like Deepak Chopra always says in his lectures "There is no magic bullet that can instantly cure all of the pain people have in the world"
This is true from the point of view of the one who is firmly locked into every day reality.
I probably do not know enough about this particular area to go into any further discussion on it and it is also something that is over for me and I see it but do not involve myself with. All I can really say as regarding Pain and its place in our world is this.........
Pain/Suffering is one of the many trials of our Consciousness.
Consciousness it seems is always wanting, having the desire to evolve. This is evident all around us. We can see evolutions in Consciousness happening every day in one form or another.
Intelligent animals such as Humans and other Intelligent creatures here on Earth seem to suffer from more pain in the form of depression and material deprivation than the not so intelligent creatures.
It may be that in order for consciousness to evolve to a particular level that suffering is the conditioner used to bring consciousness to an alternate state of awareness.
I am writing a fictional book that is based on this theory at the moment actually.
It is difficult to say really and not even important.
Maybe Harb with his great wisdom and wonderful understanding can give us some input on the subject of Pain.
Simon x
All the best on your book Simon!
I beleieve people suffer for reasons which are unknown to even the most intelligent or wise among us; because frankly..they merely "practice" what they know..rather than have experienced it; and it is agreed that the mind functions at a small percentage, which would therefor leave much, much room for other possibilities of a persons suffering; rather than that, which is only known to professionals through institutional learning...
Love,
North
Dearest North,
From where I am centered, You are doing great!! It is what Leonardo (da Vinci) has done: fitting a round peg in a square hole. So it is possible lol.
Yes Simon, I understand you now :) We are living this fictional book right here, right now!
But remember, spontaneous decay is possible, all the time, any moment, always in all ways.
Anything is possible at this amazing non-local heartphone :)
Who knows?
One must ask questions to get answers, otherwise there will only be silence. Hummm....so that's not a bad place to be either, assuming that one knows it all, otherwise it would be a dreadful place to be in ... all quiet and all in the darkness and all lonely with no light.
....just thinking out loud.
You are keenly aware Mieke.. ((wink))
There are so many missing elements to human a mind; that it irks me to watch, and be part of an institution which borders hypocrisy, due to the "boxing in" they do of human mind evolvement..and movement.
What applied 100 or even 50 years ago; are primitive; when we compare to how far the mind has evolved through that time-frame..meaning a diagnosis 100 years ago is not necessarily applicable to human mind response..."today".
I hope I make sense... (((smiles)))
Love,
North
Since I am the realization of Nature's imagination I will ask Nature
"Did I fulfilled the purpose of my existence?"
You are Nature. The Questioner is the Questionee; The Observer is the Observed.
Not so smart. Change your moniker to QisA
Dear friends:
As is apparent from your comments and discussions above, there are many facets and implications of the question in this post. I will elaborate on these in more detail in my next main entry post.
Regards,
Avtar
Simon, Mieke:
Mieke, dont know why I just dont feel like bothering about the site of my book or about the book itself. Yes, I know the domain name has expired but I just dont feel like renewing it.
Dear Simon, sorry I did not read your answer, but now have read and responded. About pain etc so far as I am concerned you yourself know much. You have rightly said "no suffering no evolution." We just enjoy pleasure while in pain we think, try to understand things.
Harb
Dear Harb,
Well, i am sure you are making the right decision. But no matter what, it is still my intention to publish the Dutch version when the publishing rights of your English publisher are expired.
I found the perfect publisher to publish the book. He is now going to publish the poetry book of North and me. Perhaps even more is in store :)
Thanks anyway for all those wonderful conversations we had here at IB and over at Jasjit's site (i have left you a message there).
At that non-local level we will always be together :)
Much love, from the heartphone
Mieke
Dear Harb,

Is it possible to transcend questioning?
Todd
17. Posted by level7
I think what is more important than wanting to transcend questioning is to know that questioning is OK. It is totally alright to want to know or have an answer to something. it is not a bad thing to be a questioner at all.
Once one realizes that all things are OK and that there is only the divine in all places then you have transcended everything. This is really what transcending is about.
People often wonder about the so called ultimate questions. Where did we come from? What is God? If God is real then where is God? How did god come into being? When did the Universe begin? What is the meaning of life?
Most people would agree that if we could know God then we could know all of the answers to the questions.
God realization is happening in different forms at different levels all of the time here. Science is itself uncovering the clues that will lead them towards some answers about God.
My personal belief is that There is no measurements that need to be obtained to know God. The divine is the very consciousness that I am and to be aware of that notion and to surrender to the greater self is to be with God in its entire state. There is nothing in the world can hurt you, make you afraid or surprise you when you know this. All things that can happen are the divine, they are me. I am the things that happen and I accept full responsibility for them as the possibilities of the divine energy that I am one of and one with.
I remember when I lived in Canada an Enlightened man there said to me.
"You absolutely know when you get some real understanding, because absolutely nothing surprises you any longer"
An example of what he meant by that is this.
If a Bomb suddenly exploded outside of my house now. I would be pretty surprised at first. After that, My understanding would say; this is a possibility. It is the nature of the world for all things to be possible as it is the nature of God. After that I wouldn't be surprised any longer because it is only God.
I beleive that is transcendence.
Simon x
Hi Simon,
transcendence = no self-reference.
love,
~ Kate
Dear Kate,
Is that what it means to you? To me it means discarding things that we are finished playing with.
If you practise the transcendence of none self referal, then beware that you do not disappear one day.
Even that must be transcended, even the one who says I must not reference myself has not transcended anything because there is no should anymore and there is no more should not any more, there is just maybe or maybe not.
Many of the great sages have spoken about there point of no return where by they swayed on the brink of enlightenment. many of them say it is the scariest time of ones understanding because the egotistical self is trying desperatly to hold on to every last bit of the self and the other is ready to let it die. It is the closest you can come to dying actually; becoming enlightened.
Simon x
If something, some happening no longer draws my dhyana -Hindu word for (dynamic) consciousness, attention etc - I may be said to have transcended that some thing or happening. In my book I say that then I have disentangled from that something or happening.
Dear Simon
It does seem that with spiritual progress and awareness, the terms 'should or should not','is or or' are progressively replaced with 'seems to'
I don't think of the ego as an *enemy to be subdued or killed off* but as an 'it'[it's not really who we are]. I think of the ego as simply unexamined or unobserved habits of perception depending on our positionality.
It seems our own perceptions cloud the realization of reality.
Total surrender, well that would be scary.
"Total surrender, well that would be scary."
Why Bonnie? You do it every night when you go to sleep :)
It is a good habit to disentangle in the evening from everything you experienced during the day.
Osho had a good prescription for this:
Think back on the happenings of your day in the opposite direction and what you have been winded up in will be unwinded again.
You will have a deep sound sleep as a reward :)
To me that is the same as dying. I am not aware of being sound asleep. I am only aware that I was asleep the moment I wake up.
Hope this makes sense.
Love, Mieke
That's why meditating is so important. It gives you a chance to "unwind" whenever you want.
With enough practice you become so aware that there is no need to unwind anymore and you become "detached". Perhaps that can then be called "enlightened", or being present in the moment.
Love, Mieke
Hi Mieke
Just when I read your post, I was going to add to my previous one to say that I guess it takes the willingness to just 'go with it'[surrender] like in your example of falling asleep at night. You don't even*think about it*, you just accept it.
Yes you make perfect sense.
bonnie
Even though I truly wish to be happy in life just like every individual, sometimes I also feel that I am passionate about sadness. I enjoy that feeling just as much as the feeling of happiness. It feels as though it is a necessary process, and without it, happiness would also not exist. I hope that this is a quality which is natural and present in others and not unique to me.
Yes Burcidi, this is only very natural :)
In the German language they have a saying for this:
"himmelhoch jauchsend, zum tode betrübt"
There will come a moment in your life when you will transcend this paradox, or unite it, or even, scientifically speaking, annihilate it into compassion, inside yourself and for all around you :)
Love, Mieke
