Guru Pitka - April 25, 2008
Hello, my children. It is I, Guru Maurice Pitka, and this is my very first blog on this site.
I am more excited than I was in 1973 when I had the great honor of being invited to the 1969 Woodstock festival of peace and loving. Of course when I arrived in 1975 it had turned into a working schnauzer farm, but I digress... I hope you all will take a moment from your busy lives to check back in here from time to time to catch up on my adventures, learn how to make your lives more fulfilling, and cheer me on as I wish you much potentiality and equipoise, or some such horseshit.

Well Guru Pitka I have no doubt that you are really God in disguise and you are not fooling me.
It will be interesting to see how well you do I have known the greatest Guru of all.
The Stone Guru,
~by Richard Thomas
I once met the greatest Guru of all. He always appears as a stone and just sits there doing nothing yet he can teach you many things. So the next time a stone happens to catch your attention even though it didn't do anything to catch it, you have met the greatest Guru of all the Stone Guru. It is quite amazing that something that cannot move or speak and looks nothing out of the ordinary can capture your attention. It gives new meaning to the phrase "Being Stoned". Who knows he may be in your back yard right now or along the path you next walk. Remember though you can't go looking for him, you must wait till he decides to capture your attention; otherwise you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between him and a plain old stone. :)
No, I do not talk to stones that would be crazy since they don’t have ears, but I have thought with them.
As far as teachers I like the Stone Guru because he teaches volumes with silence, and he can capture your attention when you least suspect it. Most people are clueless as to why they suddenly find themselves looking at a stone and simply look away not questioning what had just happened.
The Great Stone Guru taught that…
The humble and fearless walk unseen by those that would be mean and the ill intentioned can find them not for they are an invisible lot.
(Your teachers will still find you though and they might not all be nice, that is why it is good to read a few chapters ahead and learn in advance and avoid the lesson)

In infinite play the movie the apprentice asks the master, Mr. Urgo Diamu
“If I am God then why do I have so many problems?” –Apprentice
“Because you don’t act like God” –Master
“How is that?” – Apprentice
“God does not act on fear thoughts” -Master
Everyone else skipped reading this comment except you. Wondering why?
Did you ever suspect that everyone secretly knows something you do not? What do you think we are all whispering about? You of course. That there might be some big cosmic joke you were not privy to?
It’s a game of make believe, we are all pretending. The difference is that we know we are pretending. The jokes on you, everyone else knows the truth except you.
We are just playing our roles to bring you to that self revelation the realization of who.
Let go of that fear, it's what keeps us apart, get naked and jump into the pool of bliss.
God taking his character seriously, is the source of the divine comedy, love is the only real thing, Coke is just 2 cents worth of over priced carbonated sugar water sold for a dollar to the ignorant servitude.
The ego is good for one thing, adding a little drama to the play, and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is that perspective that allows us to see it all for what it is, a divine comedy
The universe is for entertainment purposes only, don’t take it to seriously unless you love drama and become a unknowing character in the divine comedy.
~Infinite Play the Movie
It is a fiction and that one should sacrifice the now for some future heaven or eternal bliss. A trick used to get the subservient to settle for less, so a few can have more! Find your bliss in the now, and experience it to the fullest, it can be obtained with wisdom and intelligence and compassion being both noun and verb.
“residual ego”.
If ego were a balloon it would grow bigger and bigger, inflated with fiction, till it gets popped by the a pin of truth, and one is left holding it's tattered remains which will not hold air or fictions any longer.
~Me
The futility of it all is that one is a leaf on the river of life. One can intend to go to the south bank and sometimes you do, and sometimes you don’t. The leaf may fool itself into thinking it is navigating, but the truth is wherever the flow of the river goes, is where the leaf travels, the flow being divine intention, the expansion and evolution of life consciousness. So the leaf humble with humility, powerless as it is, simply observes and anticipates what possible surprise waits around the next bend in the river.
~Mr Urgo Diamu
The world is a tragedy for those who feel, comedy for those who think and (silent like)cemetry for those who think themselves wise...
Only the playful have really understood it.
A keen observation was made in infinite play that AM GOD is DOGMA backwards.
They carried it in the Ark of the Covenant, only the priests could experience it, but they abused the power creating Dogma and lost possession.
The Eye or (I) of Creation.
But now thanks to the Internet the whole world can see.

Interestingly there is a paper The Feigenbaum Scenario as a Model of the Limits of Consciousness. Google it to gain knowing.
A breakthrough to unlimited consciousness, and the infinite mind.

Harb there is some insight in what you say.
That is why it is called the Infinite Play. The Infinite Player has lost his finite mind and become lucid in the shared (waking) dream.
There is happiness and there is absolute happiness which must include all of my self waking with lucidity, so when we meet our self trapped in the illusion we endeavor to shine a light upon the fictions that imprison the mind and set our self free.
Of course some are not happy unless there is a little drama to stir things up.
Just as we are ready to wake up fully, and glimpse the ultimate reality a distraction occurs, to keep the dream going. Who wants to wake up from a good dream when we can become lucid and play in it?
When I go to sleep at night, I awaken into that timeless void, when I return to time and space in the morning downloading my characters memory I begin to dream.
It is fear that creates the nightmare.
NO FEAR
I wish everyOne a sweet dream.
Laughter is the music of the Divine.
"God does not act on fear thoughts”
Richard, no doubt you have understood it all!
I must admit that sometimes the fear thoughts still overtake me though only for a few minutes...
Harb, you are not alone, I deal with the fear thoughts and sometimes seemingly ominous things on a daily basis, they eventually dissolve though; it is difficult not to be engaged by them.
Of course when I ask myself to look at the present moment, it is always good, it’s when I worry about the future or fail to trust everything is happening perfectly with perfect timing or respond to a fiction rather than the reality behind it, that I begin to sink.
To not act on a fear thought is often like leaping off a ledge trusting that one will grow wings. The height of the drop seems to grow, but I suppose that allows more time to grow the wings.
There is some really dense low vibrating consciousness on the planet.
It helps to have support from those around one and re-minders to bring us back when our minds are snatched by illusion.
It is hard to live the truth, in a world where others are living a fiction.
If one could just wake up all the players and get them to remember what has been forgotten.
There would be Peace and Prosperity on the play ground and everyone could have fun on the monkey bars.
Yo, Richard, Harb... "Lift the stone and you will find me. Cleave the wood and I am, there."
I'm a little chatterypillar who dreams to flutterby!
The fool a card in the Tarot is pictured ready to walk off the cliff by the way… but not to worry the universe has placed a ledge on the other side.
Zero, nothing, infinity, the Fool, fearless without ego, most powerful card in the deck.
The fool is the ultimate infinite player, one that plays outside and with boundaries, not in them like the finite players.
When you have no fear you are completely free of charge, zero and beyond influence.
Everyone laughed at the fool, thinking they were greater than he, but it was the fool that was free, for he had forsaken ego. The joke was on them, for the real fools are the status quo, those that take their pretending seriously.
Inspector Clouseau played by Peter Sellers always comes to mind …
Improv is very spiritual.
.One must live in the moment, simply be and go with the flow.
.One cannot be attached to outcome
.One must practice non-resistance
.One always works to make the others look better which results in you looking very good
.Ego will mess up everything, so one must put it aside
.All the players act as one performing for the eternal witness, the audience.
~As we all know being too serious leads to war and conflict, but there is nothing funnier than God taking himself seriously.
Many of the great discoveries were accidents, but there are no accidents in the universe, for all events are manifested by intention. Again the success of the character Inspector Clouseau played by Peter Sellers comes to mind with that mysterious force lurking behind the scenes.
So Ed, who is doing the lifting? :)
Richard, are you trying to fox me?
Thieves are doing the lifting.
The person driving the vehicle can be doing the lifting.
Substances/alcohol can give one a lift.
Music(ians)
Magic(ians)
Cranes are lifters.
Elevators.
Lifts!
Brute force.
What is gravity if not levity?
Who is telling me to do the lifting?
Must be your Stone Guru, Richard.
He's sitting on something vital!
What causes that to lift?(ask Gotham)
Nah, something even more vital.
Lover is doing the lifting.
My intended.
I am doing the lifting because I believe it possible......nah, lifting is not falling for it.
Amen*
Since i'll never personally meet any Guru's in this lifetime I rely on social interaction sites to keep me abreast of their dalliances.... so does anyone know if the Guru Pitka has a My Space page?

Don't worry, Guru Pitka is a character played by Mike Myers in the new film The Love Guru. You can catch the movie in theaters in a few weeks time if you wish to learn more about the fictional guru.
This is a promotional campiagn with "Guru Pitka" posting on social network sites.
From The Times of India:
" In trailers and promos posted on the film's website and on popular social networking sites, Myers is shown playing Guru Maurice Pitka, a 38-year-old, 5 feet 8 religious figure who greets people with the expression "Mariska Hargitay" and expounds pop philosophy.
Pitka is an American purportedly raised by gurus in an ashram in India who returns to USA in order to break into the self-help business. His first challenge: To settle the romantic troubles and subsequent professional skid of a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey star (Myers is Canadian) whose wife has left him for a rival. The over-the-top portrayal of the Love Guru is embellished with quotes such as "Don't come a knockin', if the asana is a rockin' and impossible yoga postures. Myers heartily mocks several aspects of the guru business, including its emphasis on lineage (Pitka's guru is Guru Tugginmypudha played by Ben Kinglsey). "

ED, that which is to be found under the stone is doing the lifting.
You mean the 'energetic' caterpillar, Richard? That's a weight off my mind ;)
Yo Richard
I don't know what to say.
You have bugged my brain and can articulate what I can not.
I know of such a stone guru. It sits at the northeast base of Mount Princeton. I image he sat down there along time ago and has had no need to move since.
piece come from peace
derek
I really mean, you have my brain bugged. Dyslexia has it's pros and cons.
Party on, Guru!
we are not worthy.....
Welcome Guru Pitka!
Just to say thank you Richard, as your posts were just what I needed this morning, as a great fear had came over me this morning once I arrived at work. All these executives of my company will be here this week and I'm waiting to either get fired, get a formal written warning, or to be ignored. After reading your posts here, the fear is gone (maybe briefly?) and I can see I got too serious in the game of life. I had a part to play and I played it well and now it's time to move on. I suppose the ending of this current movie is more suspenseful than I had bargained for. I have to make up my mind and pick the one I like ... so I can move on to the next movie :-)
Love, Char
