Well, perhaps I will make myself ridiculous to the rest of the world, but nevertheless, here is my comment that could be one of the possible solutions to a more wisdom based world in general, not only economy but to all aspects of the "Walk of Life":

In order to solve the common problems you and your ATCA members talk about, one cannot solve them by only using the right (logical) brain by deducting or calculating the so-called
asymmetric risks. One can never predict any outcome thinking in this way.

That is the main reason, in my humble opinion, why things will not go as we want them. Because by thinking logically, we expect things to go in a logical way. We take step A and by taking it we “EXPECT” step two to follow automatically. Well, this does not work in life.

If one wants to tackle the problems you are talking about, one has to become creative.

That means thinking with the whole brain, both the left and the right side of it. And not even thinking with it, just watching it take decisions that come up by itself.

I have no solution to offer you on either of the problems. I have only one solution that works in my world:

Walking the labyrinth of life.

A labyrinth is an age-old symbol. It has been compared to the female womb, but also to the brain.

One can enter the labyrinth starting the path to the right or starting the path to the left.

I made mirror images of the seven path labyrinth and then you can compare it to a symmetrical brain or even a butterfly.

The labyrinth has been used by sailors to orientate them at sea in finding shore (home).

It can also be compared to the double helix of DNA when you walk the path curling from left to right, from right to left etc. Or the lying 8 as a matter of fact.

In the famous Cathedral of Chartres in France, an 800 year old labyrinth lies at the Western entrance of the cathedral. I have visited it, walked and even danced the labyrinth in "trance".

The labyrinth can be used to set an intention. I made a 3D virtual peace labyrinth with Deepak's seven spiritual laws hanging at the walls in the room, and text from his book "Peace is the Way". Added some text of my own into it too. It still for me is such a wonderful way to meditate. A virtual walking meditation :).

It can of course also be compared to the dance of the Derwisj and to the hide and seek game Deepak talked about. I remember we used to do this in my youth. The one who had to find the others had to turn him/herself around 20 times before he was allowed to go look for them :)

If you really want to find solutions to the problems in the world, google Labyrinth Society, and look in the right top half of the page for the World Wide Labyrinth locator. There are so many labyrinths in England and perhaps also in Switzerland. Go for a sabbatical week on this labyrinth journey and I am sure you will come back with lots of solutions to your problems.

When one has the Peace and Joy inside, which one undoubtedly will find in one’s own Labyrinth, there are no problems anymore.

My only solution to the spread of adverse poverty; is to also nurture the edges of those impoverished, DK.

Tragically, most systems set in place, to tackle poverty-related dis-ease go straight to the infestation, when full-blown--example: Darfur!

I only wish to advise, that to also heal the edges of poverty, is "prevention" of possible impoverishment.

Currently, being middle-age and on a disability system; I live almost 30% below poverty level in a rich country like Canada!! Americans I fear, live far, far worse; as is evident there currently.

So, to avoid "spreading poverty" we must begin to heal it, where it is--in our own homelands; demanding government social support; which tax payers dollars are accounted to DO, in large part.

Currently, charging "ones peoples" tax's is unlawful; yet, it is being done. It is a scam-investment off the physical-laboured, hard-working man; whom often become disabled to work by age 30 or 40; due to work-related injury and disease.

Thus, in my view; there is the beginning of the infestation, of impoverishment! What will that man with the bad back do, for his next 40-50 years?

IF the government does not "give"; that man will become susceptable to addictions, to relieve the stress and anxiety "caused by" poverty, injury and disease/dis-ease.

Darfur continues, because we of the One World; allow it to continue; as, we have not been able to erradicate greed, corruption, perversion of power; which is the enabler of poverty-related sufferings.

I am grateful for my twelve thousand dollars a year I recieve; as otherwise I'd be homeless for sure!! However, one cannot taste a bitter bondage such as this..without suffering.

I am at the mercy of government, town, community and my peers; as an "unfortunate" member of society; we are subjected to isolation, deprivation, people capitalizing on our misfortunes.. on and on.

This circle of poverty, is the edge of impoverishment, which is ignored; which is the key-reality; to prevention, education, and perhaps one day.. eradication of poverty related suffering of body, mind, spirit and restore the ONE.

THAT is the wound of mankind; which we continue in failure, to heal. There is enough wealth of food, lodging and money in this world for ALL; and we must fight the battle of corruption, to achieve this almost unreachable... dream!

Prime Example of "government-caused poverty" related suffering:

IN 1996-97--the Mike Harris government of social services decided on a common sense revolution towards ovrhauling a costly system.

They kicked millions of disabled, dysfunctional, mentally-diseased, and addicts, alchoholics; and the aged, single mothers... off the system!

NO notice, NO warning...

As a woman with 7 degnerative discs at the time, and pinched nerve in the neck since age: 18; I was one of those kicked off.

I went to college at 41, graduating at 43. Being already mid-forty, and disabled; tragiclly I did not find employment. I begged restaurants to hire me.. nobody would hire me, because of age and disability.

I crashed, could not pay student loans, went bankrupt. I do not do drugs, I do not drink, I do not even take pain-meds for my physical pain.

And so, this many years later; my stomach shut down 2nd year of going through college. I finished anyway with a 4.0 perfect average!

My son and I lived on $365.00 dollars a month welfare, post graduation, while/during my stomach atrophy occuring. I still tried to find employment. I was a major volunteer for churches and schools and womens groups. I found a lone-parent support group. I advocated via newspaper well-researached articles, on what Mike Harris actions DID.... to millions of already suffering people!

During the 16 months my son and I lived on $365.00 dollars a month welfare.. his left kidney shut down. I were eating every other day to give him more, yet poverty affected him anyway...

And, this fixed what, in the social system?

In my view; my life is ruined, my health depleated; my son's body damaged by government greed, corruption, neglect and perverse-reverse of social system safety-net systems.

I contacted world organizations about it... I were told places like Darfur were the real poverty; and I said.. yes and no; by this governments actions, they just made hundreds of thousands homeless, desperate, impoverished women and children and the aged... this is HOW THE WORST OF POVERTY STARTS!!!! From there, they blocked my emails...

Now, I am an empty shell.. going/doing day to day; no more hopes, no more dreams, no advocates for those of us "MADE POOR" in 1997! to a government system which took away 21.6% social income FROM every person on the system. Old people, disabled, children, women...dysfunctional men.

Is this not how poverty feeds fear? Through lack?

correction: I did not "found" a lone parent support group in the 90's.. I "Founded a Lone Parent Support Group" and took calls by phone at home...24/7 for those single mothers/fathers newly singled with kids....and we had bi-monthly meetings. : )

I did everything possible..to prevent my decline into hell, caused by a one-man ideal; which factually, impoverished hundreds of thousands in Canada--Ontario took the worst!

What is a disabled woman to do? Crawl, and pick up gum off the ground, to keep it clean-- to earn respect?

Mike Harris; the government of Canada in one swoop, without justice, mercy or medical ground; sentanced so many, to a slow, painful, suffering end of "means and quality of life".

But, his less-common sense; cost me everything, and my son a kidney..which drained his other only existing kidney down to 70% function or less by now... we KNOW he will need dialysis and a transplant one day... maybe by age 25-30 they said!! He is still NOT ON A TRANSPLANT LIST; BECAUSE WE ARE POOR DISABLED FOLK; WHOM DON'T SEEM TO DESERVE....

what did we do in life... to deserve Mike Harris's sentence to hell? IN the long run; it has cost the government MORE MONEY; to save the damage done to my body and my son's; than it would have, if they hadn't kicked us off the system in the first place!! I was healthier prior... bad neck, worked anyway... but, 7 degenerative discs, is too painful by early 40!! Again.. I was a common physical labourer; and as in my 1-2 post above; raise the issue of labourer's backs being gone by 30-40's!! : (

I would give anything to be able to work... as such, I design digital photo-art for others to use freely...as it makes me feel..alive inside.

So anyway.. this is how the Darfur's in the world become such out of control infestations of corruption through the poverty, lack, fear, and military rule.

WE CAN prevent it, by social policy safety-net programs which cannot be broken by any government; like that here, in 96-97!

Why aren't we, as a race of beings, insisting on safety and protection of families? I'd honestly like to see a study done on what happened to say 10 thousand of those families, out of one-hundred thousand? I know, many in my little town died from drugs/alchohol, violence, and suicide.

Sadly,, "those made poor" walk in a different labyrinth Mieke--we are in the labyrinth of suffering; where all the energy goes, when people won't take responsibility for their own suffering; and project it elsewhere...never knowing who they are sending thier negative energy "to".

Igor and I spoke briefly of this; and we cannot discount the fact of negative "and" positive energy projection ability of the human being...

For those that master the art of peace within; where does thier negative energy "go" when it is being discarded?

Surely; it is re-absorbed elsewhere?

Why does not any theory touch this base of our ability? If we can project healing; we can project ill-effect as well.

It must be addressed somewhere in medicine, spirituality and science; because in my understanding of "Oneness; we must accept ALL possibility...

And beyond that... for those mastering the art of projecting and absorbing another's energy; are in fact, violating those abused from it without their knowledge, nor consent; wandering through life wondering why they feel the way they do...

There is probably nothing I can say to ease the pain, but your posts really touched my heart. So I will be brief. I just wanted to say that I have seen the power of prayer work miracles and I will add you and your son to my pray list. I've seen healings, so I know it's possible. However, I always leave it up to God's will, as I never know what will happen.

Yes, there is negative energy, but the positive energy of LOVE far outweighs it. For me, when I feel the negative energy coming my way, I say a little prayer if I remember and then I start sending loving thoughts. It's really hard for me to manage, but it does work if I stick with it, as the love will start flowing and love is very healing.

My mother is also very sick and I've tried to get her to see a healer, but she will not. At times, we all feel hopeless, as one tries to remember there is always a reason for everything even tho we might not understand why.

You are very courageous and your strength is evident. I wish for you and your son good health and care.

I've never heard of problems such as yours in your country, so it shocked me. I am from the USA and we have good plans in place for all, including benefits for the disable, even tho the USA still has a lot of room for improvements.

I am truly sorry to hear of your suffering.

I do not know what to say to you, as I always try to do my best in my life to treat people with respect, send them positive energy.

We all have our problems in our life. The moment my first grandson was born and he didn't want to breath, I walked the labyrinth with all my doubts and fears and came out with three possibilities on how to be able to deal with this.

I have a very sick mother too. I have been poor too.

But if we do not try to turn this negative energy into a positive one ourselves, how can we ever help another one?

You cannot say i did not do my best. I am what I am and I truly belief in myself.

A Labor of Love, The Love of Labor

Quality is full of love. Cheap is born of greed and fills our landfills and pollutes the world wasted energy and material. One should not shop for cheap stuff, a garment born of the labor of love lasts longer and actually costs less in the long run, and this is wisdom. If the consumer seeks the lowest price (a form of greed) then they help corrupt industry, the consumer supports slave labor and sweat shops. A machine can impart no love into what it makes, so not everything should be made by machine. You get what you pay for.

Plastic is cheap and wears out fast, with some exceptions it is a detriment to the world, metal parts last a long time and represents quality. Moving parts should never be made of plastic this is wisdom.

But don’t be fooled by a label, how does a consumer know quality? Has a company created the appearance of quality and charged a high price? How do we know? We can't see the quality of fasteners inside the engine.

Implement the universal information system. I have designed such an open system. The universal information system allows every product produced to be unique. As well as all it’s components down to the batch for quality control, such that all it’s components can be viewed and the quality of material known. It allows us to actually see the people that made the product in a labor of love and how it is made. More than this the new system shows the actual profit margin. Although it can indicate who is taking the most profit it really shows who is most efficient and intelligent in their design and in the methods of production. Consumer feedback and experience can also be recorded for each design and source to others see what is made from love and in perfection, and what is not.

Quality is GREEN

Cheap is GREY, a dismal way.

Quality is born of a Craftsman’s love for his work, this was the way of the Masons, but something was lost and forgotten, the great wisdom. Greed killed the labor of love. In love there is perfection and harmony.

Deadlines and management using force and fear, cutting corners, and cheap materials have compromised the information technology infrastructure, not to mention other products and services, both hardware and software, I am seeing this now and the whole world will be in dire straights if this is not corrected because we depend on it.

Management & Labor and eliminating the elements that creates an imbalance. The use of fear destroys the labor born of love and creates products with flaws. Management should set the intention, provide the resources, intelligence and guidance and allow labor to build at a natural pace in the flow, and a perfect product is created benefiting all.

Wealth earned should be in proportion to the actual value created and the number of participants served, so great wealth is possible and blessed are they that serve many and create great wealth, blessed are those that serve a few that serve they many, they should never be wanting for they too serve the many. Wealth created from artificial needs, created problems, gambling, control of the monetary symbol, legislation of profit, the illusion of scarcity, fear, disease, and manipulation and deception are ill gotten, and it will not be retained.

I trust the agents will covey this theme to executive management. If executive management embraces this theme, and gives it voice they will prosper. This will help solve the issue with China and it’s people.

Fear and ego (fiction based) are the greatest threat to the bottom line.

The Youth of the Nation, what is the problem?

I have noticed in the youth, a natural aversion to greed, money, and materialism because of what it does to people and the world, their families, it ruins our lives, the conflict it creates. Quite often their reluctance to participate (learn and get a job) and their unappreciation is really a product of this disgust and aversion to a system built on fear and force, a great hypocrisy, not love, gravity and the authentic self.

If we transform the system, we will transform the youth.

Oooh, I was not looking for pity. I was giving a real example of how governmental corruption, can corrode a protection system; which governs the aged, disabled, single mothers and children; the example being: "the 21.6%" taken from those on the system's incomes; and the rest kicked off.

Being as all I suffered with prior to the governmental interuption/changes; the result of their actions, speaks for themselves.

I am sorry, if anyone takes my posts as pitiful.

Darfur started in the same small ways, was my next point.

It saddens me, that all people can see/hear is me whining; when I"m raising such crucial issues with facts?? sigggh
