Winters
Winters have always bought with them a subtle silence in the not so quiet world. The same street which I have traveled through out my life suddenly starts talking to me, they look so sad and worried as if silence has become their only companion even though the cars are driving by and people are busy with their work.

Suddenly, a cold breeze wafts around me as if the streets acknowledges the fact that I know they are alive, he says that his most sought out desire was not fulfilled, he wanted people to love him but he never realized how much they loved him. He wanted some miracles to happen butter he never instigated an effort to the endless offers he got. He always wanted to find true love but never respected the love he was getting. He says he was very happy but just that everything didn’t match his expectations which he then refutes by saying that what he expected actually was not possible.

He had every comfort in life but his inner soul was never comfortable. He lived in his own dreams but when reality did confront him he became sad that what he had lost while dreaming will never come back to him, but he has accepted his fate he wants to live in his dream, that’s the only place where he can identify himself where he can smile and not be afraid that he did so. That’s why these streets live in their dream most of the year and faces the reality in winters when they wake to find that only one person is listening to him and the whole world is oblivious to his existence, he again becomes sad and sleeps through out the next 10 months.

Hello Anand,

Interesting thoughts on winter....brrrrrr.

have a great day, ruth

Anand,

Your story of winter reminds me of depression. A very cold place that lacks motion of emotion.
Depression is like a dark hole. People seek all sorts of outer stimulus to fill the void.

The creative heart-brain can generate positive chemicals needed to lift one out of depression.
My chemical "med" was meditation (transcending this realm) and white light. I focused on white light that was a very tiny speck at the beginning. That light grew and expanded.

Now I encircle fields of creation with Light. I encircle my kids and g-kids, my car, office and home. I encircle countries and our Beloved Earth Mother. And I encircle ego shadow. There is nothing Light cannot penetrate. Human bodies are light bodies -- the more one expresses the more is generated.

One need not give in to depression. One can shift focus to Light that lifts. If you know someone in depression of winter send them light of your love. And if you don't feel light and loving encircle yourself. You are in good company in Light.

Trish~~

What we perceive is neither right nor wrong. What we perceive is what we believe. Beyond the appearance of things lies a world where are beings are being....one with all.

Well, I certainly recognise a few mirror images in this piece but I'm tempted to add a little of my hot air to breeze it up a little.

Yes, okay Anand, I get you.
