intentBlog intent is the emerging asian consciousness giving birth to a global mind shift

What do you think about the idea of an IB forum wherein IB participants could meet in person and share the wisdom thru presentations, seminars, and panel discussions on various topics?

Avtar, you have Genius! Sadly, I feel I will be left out unless you accept my invitation to my humble home here in UK. Yes, yes, yes, let's get down to the real business.

Ed.

April's foolishness was begotten by simply observing.

IB is the observatory where I keep my eye out for pure giddiness.

Let me just say...we have a few very good-looking
prospects in this inner space.

As often it just so happens, when a group of awakened, highly evolved egos

get together for a time of sharing wise ways of righteousness, time after time,

this hairy, little hobbit will be found lurking in the kitchen,

munching on the delightfully crunchy cookies.

What's in your cupboard?

LOL, Keith....we are kin!

I think it is a great idea, as long as the tables are round and there is a clear Intent behind the meeting. These are times when wisdom needs not only to be found, but also to be translated into action.

It is a great idea Avatar. Would be awesome to meet and gather around a specific agenda / agendas.

It is ironical though; the web and social computing sites try to solve this very problem and yet IB creates a desire for physical meet-ups. Part of the problem is the pseudo-social nature of IB site - where bloggers and readers are gulfed by an unnecessary and thoughtless design.

I’m interested, it sounds like a good idea, and I hope we can make it happen. ~Kurt~

Avtar--it would make a union between the internet to human--ability to go beyond internet connectiveness, into a physical presence of connectedness. Based on the agenda of the meeting; I feel it could very much open a gap, and a flow of creative adda would emerge...

what would be wonderful, is to perhaps become an IB Philanthropy Project. IB'ers coming up with palpable ideas, to better the lives of others. Choose a charity! Create a Charity exclusive to IB? I'd LOVE to see Anou Bakshi get some financial support in India---for her work is hard, nonrewarding, and a huge struggle, to get financial support on a regular basis.

I CAN visualize; IB becoming an IB Philanthropy Project, for Anou--and the many souls she tries so desperately to save.

I CAN visualize our efforts--in supporting Utpal, one of Anou's little burn-victim boys--living in uncertainty and charity donations, for him to live in a school setting. But, after a certain age, he is out of there, and on the streets? WE cannot let that happen...

What vision did you see Avtar--when you were asking yourself the question?

Love,
North

Is there enough active readership to support a venture like this, currently? If so, it's a good idea. (If not, an effort needs to be made to pull in a stronger participatory audience, before an investment of the magnitude required for these kinds of activities can be justified, unless you're proposing casual local meetings that can be hosted by individuals.)

I Thought about this a few years ago when IB First began to grow popular.

I think an anual meet up would work; the meet up would also have to be held in different countries every year for those who were unable to travel to the USA.

If IB Became an Internet medium for people to meet in person then that could be a recipe for disaster.

The text book answer to should you ever meet anybody from the Internet is NO! for the simple reason that you never know what kind of people you are conversing with and most people in real life are totaly different in person than they behave online with the mask of the Internet in place.

Having said that... I have met many people from the net and quite a few of them I am still good friends with them and visit them regularly.

simon xx

Care for a shandy, Simon ;)

How dare you offer me such a beverage!

lol

Dear Avtar,

It would be an IMMENSE pleasure to be able to meet with such a wonderful group of teachers and to be able to discuss topics in a face-to-face environment.

My main concern is about where the locations for the meetings might be. It might be quite difficult for some of us to attend because of our geographical locations. I realize that Dr. Chopra and you are world travellers and find it second nature to visit many countries.

To me, Intent Blog is the best website there is to find articles by leading thinkers who are concerned about the RAISING OF CONSCIOUSNESS. The information provided by the teachers is the basis for enabling a REAWAKENING (REMEMBERING) of who we truly are.

It's a great idea that you have about an IB Forum.

Best Wishes,

"Betsy" S.

I would love to meet and discuss in person, how cool would that be.
I've got a big space here in Colorado. It's rrrrrrreally beautiful here.

IB is a special phenomenon. It has challenged me on every level and I appreciate what it and all who participate have done for me.

I offer my home if anyone is interested.

Yo

derek

Why not Avtar.

But we should all have a basic understanding of physics, it would diminish the chances of being indoctrinated with BS. We should know what the laws of physics in our universe allow us to do and that telekinesis, the power to move something by thinking about it without the application of physical force, may happen somewhere in another multiverse with different laws, but not in ours.

We should never pretend exclusive knowledge!

This is a great idea! How nice would it be to put real faces with the voices we hear at IB.

Yo derek, I might just show up on your doorstep!
:)

bonnie

Who better than Derek as host, eh Bonnie?
Love to see your art, too, Derek.

Pieces came from Derek!

#14 Alexandre, you're joking?

Hey guy's, I know a hot springs a couple hours from my house that is guaranteed to stop time.

Too much fun!

Well Ed
peace comes from pieces

derek

That's interesting. Can the rest of us watch you guys? :-) That would be a lot of fun to watch! I for one, would be in the kitchen with Keith. I could just see every one fighting the minute someone says that we can move things in our universe with thought who knows by experience, but cannot prove it, as the scientist types give all these educated answers on why it is not possible, as well as all the name calling that's throw around.

Love, Char

Yo Bonnie
Doorsteps where perfectly designed to be shone up at.

derek

#20 Nice one Derek! You dyslexic? ;)

Yo derek
Does everyone jump in the hot springs with just a shiny
.....smile
Bet we could stop some clocks! Yo!

Bonnie

Hello Avtar

Interesting idea, I could be open to that, but I agree with Heathe,r that there doesn't seem to be enough participants.

have a great evening, ruth

Oh Ed, if I were ONLY dyslexic, if Only I were dyslexic, if Only dyslexic I were. Yo

Bonnie, a shiny smile is all that is required to stop time.

Hey Ruth
I think quite a few people would be interested. But if not,
Jesus said where one or more are gathered in my name, so I am there.

derek

I think that would be very cool too...joanie

I am not really in the mood

Pffff, seriouly
Naaaaaa, hmmmmmmmm

Well, you know... Life separate us sometime
We are alone, again, sailing on infinite ocean
and blabla bla blaaaa

I am even not in the mood for poetry
Papa crying stuff

With this flu
Shared with the black-energies of Char4
I cannot stop asking myself

What's the hook?...

No this is not the reason
The reason is a fear

Like everyone knows here
Nothing is kept secret, alright?
It's a fear that I have since my last separation-union

Ohhhhh Jean, really!?!?

No, not really, because you don't understand what I mean!

Jean, what is going on?, you are scaring me!

How can I lie?, how? ;.)
When you put this sweet attention on me
Everyone knows, it has been a tough time for me
My last separation-union was a fiasco

She quited me for Mr. Univers
How can I challenge the guy, how?
She disappeared with the all-nothing

So, you know
I tried to continue
Alone in the dark
I tried to rebuild my heart
Respect myself
And to fill it with peace and joy

Here is the point-zero, my friends
Sometimes in the night
When nobody is looking
She is so smart
Like a fox
She is challenging me

Only God knows why
Pretending nothing
And I am close to craziness
Something seriously wrong

It's so wrong...

Avtar,

Will there be music, singing, dancing, poetry, art? Will my senses be able to co-create with thinking brain? If not the experience will be too much like grade school. A place I became very self-conscious because my brain and thinking process did not fit in.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama and thousands of Seattle attendees in his presence applauded at his comment that when schools include social and emotional education along with academics there will be more compassion....and world peace.

Trish~~

...Whosoever said lunatics are lonely people and they love no one was wrong? He should come and visit them about twice a week at Intentblog Campfire Party. They get together early in the evening around a campfire and celebrate their lunacy, enjoy each other’s company, listen to each other’s further adventures into idiocy, congratulate each other on their progress, pat each other’s shoulders and backs and when they are not grinning or laughing, they are squatting, legs crossed, eyes closed, arms extending to their knees, posture straight, and in their heads, third eyes open , they are walking on spiritual paths.

In a recent gathering, they had booze, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dominos Vegetarian Pizza, Popcorn, Pigs Feet Curry, Chutney from green mangoes from India, Dosa and Masala with raita, Kentucky Moonshine, Bud Bear and for the desert, cherries, pastries and cakes. They raised their glasses, offered a toast to their super spiritual guru writing another book, Kabala: New Insights Into Lunacy, in the lower West Coast of USA. Since he never comes to their parties, the lunatics always hang from an oak tree a big photo of their guru framed in sandal wood from holy hills of Malabari in India, and place garlands of marigold on the frame in a manner that garlands are around the neck of their holy deity. All of them got initial inspiration to be a lunatic from their holy guru.

They sleep in their bags huddled together, and sometime have been observed performing weird dances in their sleep. Sleep walking and sleep chatting is a common phenomenon at the camp site, lasting till early hours of the morning. Next morning, all of them fully approved for their lunacy by their camp mates under the hanging picture of their guru with a divine smile extending almost to the corners of his lips, they pack their sleeping bags and off they go to Kentucky, Colorado, West Virginia, North of the border or wherever their permanent lunatic abodes are. But they cannot wait for another day to start preparing themselves for the next party. So the intense lunacy with spiritual intent goes on and on, biweekly, week after week. It is hoped their numbers will increase, soon surpassing the critical mass, when no sane person will be left in the world.

Dear IB lunatics,

IB thanks you for your recurrent nocturnal escapades at the camp sites of lunacy twice a week.

IB is now happy to announce that the head honcho of the committee on spreading spirituality, love and peace around the globe, is contemplating authoring an altogather new book, appropriately titled: Spiritual Hallucinations of the Lunatics.

Your contributions are welcome and if accepted to be included in the final draft of the book, will be appropriately rewarded from the royalty revenues, that might approximate from about 5 cent per word to as much as few thousand bucks for your entire article, depending on the publicity of the book at spiritual blog sites, temples, churches and other places where the like minded love to gather routinely and nourish their lunacy.

The book will be placed under the general category of Mental Diseases, with a subcategory of Interpretation of Dreams and Spiritual Stupors.

Another book already in preparation is Kabala: Further Insights Into Lunacy.

Hey guys and girls, young and old and very old, with grey hair, no hair or all shaved off scalps, hitting the bottles of vodka, or is it Kentucky Moonshine,

No party this weekend? Is lunacy still brewing and has to mature before it froths? Please be party boozers. Do not give up the tradition. What fun will be left if there were no parties?

And listen all, we have a smart young person who would like to know about your parties. Please invite him and be kind to him, and do not call him a kid or something like that. He is smarter than many of you oldies, who always are banal with vapid phrases: Peace be with you, Love to you, Love wins all, Bless you, etc etc. Let us have some young blood amongst us, fresh ideas, fresh perspectives.

Let me know what you all are up to. I will be there to report for the IB Gazette.
