PS--Deepak; we can tell your passion is to write.
My passion is to pass on-ions. Is that why I am boss-eyed?
Sorry, didn't answer the question properly. I think the answer must be ions.
I've been asking myself this day and night lately. What exactly is my -exact- place in the flow? I've just finished writing on Facebook, burning high with the impulse to show the soul to hurting people. People are hurting, everywhere. And they don't see the soul. They even fight it. How exactly do I best help people find the soul? What language, what method, who is most likely to hear? What do I have to learn, to find inside, to hear, to understand, so this passion can burn away the suffering of as many people as possible?
Sounds like you are suffering, Aurora ;)
Not at all, Ed. Just burning.
Stands clear of the heat!
Have you noticed how on ions make you cry
On the contrary,lol... come throw in the flames all that's not true.
I wouldn't know the difference, Aurora.
What is my passion?
Exploring the numerous possibilities within myself and then giving expression to them, spontaneously, from my heart.
For this I use many tools. It started by finding out how to use a computer. Playing games on it and then finding out how to make them myself.
I was and still am inspired by your books Deepak.
I translated books that appealed to me to be able to better understand them. I got inspired to write poems by doing that.
I found out that the labyrinth is a perfect tool to center myself. Since then one passionate creation after the other comes forward.
I make 3D virtual reality worlds of them in a wide variety, from virtual photo galleries, poem galleries to even whole holiday worlds in which i can travel around, walking labyrinths again :)
Mieke
And together with dear North, i made an inspired designs/poetry book, inspired by all the wonderful conversations we have had here on IB in the past.
I have sent the book around the world to many of the regular bloggers here in the hope this will always be a visual memory of many virtual friendships :)
Thanks for that,
Mieke
Dear Aurora,
Regarding your questions #5.
There is this delicious little booklet, written by Deepak Chopra: "Living in abundance". This is my translation of the Dutch title of the book.
It was first published in 1993 and the original title is: "Creating Affluence - Wealth Consciousness in the Field of all Possibilities"
This little gem contains the alphabet of creating affluence and really is a beautiful labyrinth in itself :)
Love to you,
Mieke
Thanks Mieke, that is one of the few books by Deepak I haven't read, but I think he expresses the same principles in "Seven Spiritual Laws of Success".
My question is not how to create affluence, it is what do to with the affluence :))) There is such an abundance of possibilities, so there's some choosing and prioritizing that needs to be done.
Unfortunately its blogging. I sometimes stay up until sunrise posting entries and, after a few hours sleep, am at it again.
Is that passion or obsession?
Hi Aurora,
Yes, i understand. Yet i never worry about making choices anymore. Since I told myself that I have all the time in the world, I take time to make only one choice: consciously walking my labyrinth towards the middle. Then I surrender to that what is and the choicemaking is done for me. And funny enough it always turns out right :)
Spiderweb, I think it is both, living with that paradox is a real art!
Mieke
Sorry I cannot speak the truth here.
To be, just to be.
The rest is desire, hope and wishful thinking.
derek
Oh and there's that whole peace thing but that is becoming less of a passion and more of a spectator sport.
peace comes................
Hey Deepak
I hope you have a good afternoon or evening or morning, depending on what time zone you find yourself.

Hello Deepak and all,
I would have to say my one true passion would have to be, to KNOW, who, I AM.

Writing-Thinking
A constant search about something that I do not know.
How can I say... I have to respect something about me... something that I do not know the language yet. There is a life-formation or a life-orientation inside me. I didn't know that.
I have never liked the possible-idea of doing anything at anytime, whatever just do something, anything. Today this new insight gives me a new passion to life.
What is the thing that I should do, today? Something outside connected to me. How should I do it? Really not easy. It's too easy to follow the mass with blind eyes but I am personally not happy that way.
What is disturbing me is that I cannot learn the thing to do before it happens... maybe the learning is the event itself... maybe the learning is the consciousness of my formation. By this consciousness I know if I follow my own inner-external formation.
I do not know if all this is making sense to any of you... but for me this is pointing toward something reel.
I agree Mieke--it was great to create the poetry book with you! A real testament; to how online friendships can form over time--and how a creative process, can induce production!
Love,
North
My passion is LOVE ...
Reading books authored by Deepak Chopra and getting inspired - soaring high up in the spiritual planes hearing God's heavenly music (aakhand raag).
Many hours ago, I"d visited a celebrity blog, met a guy named Brandon, who's docu-video was on the celebs site to the plight of the black man in Chicago! I asked him if he'd like me to create a poster. He sent me a few images to use that he'd created. I put the images together, to get the finished results.

There are 4 other variations in a new album on my myspace called: "For Brandon/Mr.Personality From: North"
Enjoy! THIS is my PASSION to do! : )

Listening to harp music the music of Angels... listening to the sound of children playing... listening to the sound of your voice.
Darling Deepak... in you book "The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire" under the "Author's Note" you wrote... "There are few things in life that I find more gratifying than learning and teaching"... so can we ask.... what gives you most passion?
Technology, Poetry and wife :)!
Receiving what I asked for, in ways I would never have dreamed of myself. The works of the Universe are absolutely amazing! Also, writing poetry or other works from the Universal Flow, typing away as the words are simply "there".

To step up one more rung of the spiritual evolutionary ladder the moment when learning suddenly becomes KNOWING. I am the same but at the same time I feel brand new.
Breathing, Honesty, Yoga, Meditation, Deepak Chopra are my passion
Greetings to all,
I'm new to the site and the board (isn't technology wonderful?) and hope you don't mind if I join the discussion.
Aurora - you asked how to help people find their soul. You can't really - everyone learns their own lessons in their own time. However, continue to burn bright: shine your light as your name implies. Be a lighthouse when you can or a candle in the wind if need be but keep the light shining. You have no way of knowing who is feeling the warm glow or who is seeing and/or following it. As they say 'when the student is ready...'.
Mieke - a labyrinth huh? I had to laugh. In my own journey I must admit I'm really tired of wandering in the wilderness and would love to find a nice clear path: preferably to a beach ... with an ocean view ... and maybe a cabana boy with a drink.... But I digress--
What I find passionately exciting these days is answering the question "Who am I"? It's not a simple one for me but it is a joyous experience to sort out who I AM as opposed to who I got sidelined into being. I'm discovering my own voice, my own beliefs and learning to leave behind all the "you shoulds" one gets indoctrinated with.
My other passion is comparative religious studies. I've studied religions for most of my life and it fascinates me how they circle and touch each other w/ the same basic ideas in different formats. Truly it's One River, Many Wells (which is a good book by the way). I totally fail to understand how people cannot see the forest for the trees but then I remind myself that each soul walks the path they need to take to reach their version of God. I figure if God (by whatever name) doesn't mind, why should I?
Thanks for allowing me to comment. LL
What brings me the most passion? I used to think it was writing, reading, poetry & literature. I found, though, that in great part it's been self-realization, which is an understanding of what it means to be human. That is, not simply who I am, but who we all are.
. . . Which leaves room for so much potential. I worked and studied for a career in academia: that was the plan. But being human, plans change, and though I'd invested so much into becoming a poet and professor, I realized, intuitively sensed, that the universe had different plans.
So now I'm a skydiver. I work at a drop zone. I'm probably going to take flying lessons here pretty soon. I love the sky! And it occurred to me that I always have.
Passion implies fire to me. My own particular passion is to live free, to soar, to achieve my goals, to enjoy life at its fullest! Being on fire for a cause is a thing of the past for me now as I am in the ember state and realize that to live life as wonderfully as possible is all that is left for me to do now. I can ignite quickly for many dreams, such as travel, creative expression, but it also dies down just as quickly as it came. It is because of the aging process...
