Forget John Edwards endorsing himself for vice-President last week and all of this week's hype surrounding McCain's search for a plausible VP. The big news is that Bollywood has finally made up it's mind and endorsed a candidate! Phew...
(Notice how they've taken Obama's lips forming his favorite word, "Change" and matched it perfectly to the Hindi lyrics.)
I was just about at my wits end with the campaign, but Bollywood has brought back the fun.
Thanks, guys!

That was great! Thanks for sharing the video clip, as I loved it.
Kanika,
What a delightful clip. Thanks! I especially liked the image of two Obamas emerging from one man who is both gentle and strong. The vibrant spirit of this man is being picked up by the masses. It's great to see creative and celebratory juices flowing. Signs of hope.
Good to put prayers of protection (I use a circle of white light) around Obama and his family. Dark forces need defined boundaries.

There are lots of folks trying to guess Obama's vice presidential choice. I have a sneaking feeling that Hillary will get the nod for vice president. She will deliver a lot of votes that Obama needs to win.

My prediction for Obama's running mate (in the order presented):
#3 Bill Richardson: reason is that he was early loyalist of Obama, and can draw the Latino vote. Reason not to ask is that he won't bear any additional credibility with working class whites.
#2 Kathleen Sebelius (KS) Will carry Hillary's base without having to carry Hillary's husband (who at this point is a blot). Reason not to have her: may distract from her eventual/inevitible candidacy. Also, she carries mostly mid-westerners who--as was shown in Iowa--are already willing to vote for Obama since he's from Illinois.
#1 Jim Webb (VA) Will carry Scots-Irish whites along the Appalachian ridge and westward who are most likely to vote for McCain if they perceive that Affirmative Action is once again leaving them behind. Also connotes an in-your-face-anti-war stance that shows that he's got serious fire in his belly and the will to bring our sons and daughter home. Finally, it's an acknowledgement that poor whites are just as important as poor minorities, which is exactly the sort of race discourse Obama is encouraging.
PS. Jim Web had an interesting comment on Affirmative Action. As I understood him, he described it as a programme originally intended as a reparation for slavery. In that context, it seems wholely appropriate.
But it galled many--including myself--is that it extended to every non-white minority. Being Scots-Irish, he considers himself a minority, and historically and econmically, he's correct.
