Ready for the 4th!

Hello, web-surfing ho dads and wahinis. It is I, Guru Pitka, back for another wave (get it, surfer... wave... too obvious? keep going? okay. please stop yelling) ... for another slice of spiritual pie. This will be the fourth in my ongoing series, and it got me thinking,... wow, whatever happened to Nell Carter?
She was so sassy, and could sing the rupees out of you. Then I put that aside, and started thinking about the word "series". It is a simple word, but when broken down by my patented method of anagramology, I find it becomes Segments Earning Respect Inside Every Soul. And what does that mean? Well, if each day of our lives is a segment of our lives, then aren’t they all equally important, and thus, you should treat them all with the same value, and cherish them all, regardless of how good or bad they may go? I know I do, and trust me, that makes me feel like I am having a fulfilled existence. In fact, the only thing missing to make it really fulfilled is Nell Carter, but she won’t "Gimme a Break" and say where she is. Get it? The name of her sitcom was... no? Too obvious again? Wow. Cut me some slack, Jack.
