To See the World in a Grain of Sand and Heaven...

The Ancient of Days: God as Architect
William Blake

How often do we look forward to see the world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of our hand and eternity in an hour!

William Blake's view resonates as an eternal song with the spirit! From Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, Blake's The Lamb & The Tyger (Love & Time) are worth noting as indeed are The Auguries of Innocence which contain the Sand, Heaven, Infinity and Eternity!

And for you... what do you look forward to... what resonates you?

DK,
A gentle reminder: God/dess as Archtect.

God and Goddess make one whole.

The Sacred Feminine has been the missing link.

Will She be honored in the micro and the macro?

Trish~~

Yes, If you are blessed enough, rather in a state of bliss, you may indeed be able to recapture the feeling of viewing the world in a grain of sand.
And mind you, if the grain of sand is but mere rubble, then you know what the state of this world is....and if the grain of sand is bloody, then you will know how much wars have scarred the world...the grain of sand may indeed hold the key to the world....

Hi DK,

Stanford Ovshinksy has a new venture Ovshinksy Innovation, having left the old to their pursuit of profit. The intention has formed to visit in the week coming with a revelation and if the divine permitting divine joint venture.

Dear Trish,

I would like to respond to what you said about the Sacred Feminine being the missing link.

This is definitely the case being presented today by the new awakening consciousness. From the various sources I have been researching I can see how the information about the Mother Goddess has been concealed for centuries. In the "Essene Communions" taught by Jesus it is fully evident that he advocated a full acknowledgement of the Sacred Feminine Energies and referred to them when he spoke to his Sons of Light.

There is a new documentary about to be released called, "Bloodline" by Rene Barnett and Bruce Burgess. Burgess believes that the facts surrounding Jesus' life and true mission have been twisted by the Catholic Church in order to exercise control over the masses.

His belief is that Jesus came here to teach humanity how to unlock the divinity and amazing powers that reside within us all. The knowledge about the Divine Mother Goddess as an integral part of the Creator Source has been discarded and hidden by the organized church for centuries.

I believe all of this and I am anxious to see what the documentary "Bloodline" reveals.

Best Wishes,

"Betsy" S.

Yes, in deed Betsy and Trish hence the instigation of the Feminine Resurgence in 2004, a (D)ivine (K)night in Light Armor and a sword of truth, rides into a kingdom besieged with darkness, and the Dark Knights blinded by the brilliance of Excalibur fell to their knees and prayed for mercy.

In her book The Ancient Secret, Lady Flavia Anderson postulates that "Excalibur" has a Greek origin, Ex-Kylie-Pyr or "out of a cup—fire". This corresponds to her thesis that the Holy Grail refers to those items used to draw down the Sun in order to make fire. Excalibur, she believed, was a "brand of light" and associated with Aaron's Rod. Just as only Aaron or Moses could make their rod "flower" (into flame), so only Arthur could pull Excalibur from the stone.

That the Holy Grail is delivered to the world one is tasked, having found it on facing east on the east most land, Isla Mujeres, meaning Island of Women. How fitting a place to hide such a thing? With it's story of a lost love.

Click my name and read of the Feminine Resurgence.

A true story, watch it unfold, if you don’t understand then you must have missed a chapter of my comments.

Be sure to click my name and GO BONOBOS.

Dear Trish,

I would like to add something to my Posting No.6 in reference to the "Bloodline" documentary I have mentioned. If you would like to further research this subject you can find the documentary on the internet by searching: Bloodline - the Movie, and choosing the site called: Bloodline the Movie on blip.tv. I found the segment entitled "Bruce met the author of "Cracking the Symbol Code" Tim Wallace - Murphy", especially fascinating. The first segment is also quite interesting which features an interview with Margaret Starbird, author of the book, "The Woman With The Alabaster Jar" (about Mary Magdalene). I find the whole documentary very thought-provoking and I believe it contains some very good information for consideration.

Best Wishes,

"Betsy" S.

why is God pictured as a male? ive never thought of God as a male, but if he is, it might make sense...maybe thats why almost all societies are male-dominated and the most essential liberties are not given to women as though they are some separate species...that makes sense...God is sexist!?!

Please excuse us for bulging in, but it isn't about the gender.

God is always portrait in a male form, not because he is a man, but because of the penetrative power of the Spirit.

Likewise the Nature is always portrait as having female attributes, not because The Universe is ''like a woman'', but because the Universe is an essence a giant Womb !

The primordial relationship is thus intensified by the unity of the two in a mutual and an ecstatic embrace. Literally the Godhead has Himself fully engaged in a total act of Love, while the Universe keeps exploding in a multiple orgasm of forms and phenomena.

As far as Betsy vis a vis Richard exchange:

That's why the great minds of EUROPE, even those born in the 19th century, considered Western European culture to be barren of true spiritual charge. This is precisely because the initiatory link has been severed and that's why they've ventured into the only living (spiritually speaking) traditions of Hinduism and Islam (sufi tradition). Just think of the giants like Rene Guenon:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rene_Guenon

Who by the way has been an inspiration for such universal minds as german philosopher Frithjof Schuon, a swiss aesthete and a cultural hero Titus Burckhardt, indian writer polymath Ananda Coomaraswamy as well as Julius Evola, Marco Pallis and Huston Smith.

Rene Guenon born in France in a catholic family passed away in Egypt as one of the most prominent Sufi Masters of his time. This man truly walked his talk. His reemergence, not just the conversion to Islam but an inner transformation which made that move all the more poignant, makes an astonishing testament to the birht of a new era. Where the religious hero isn't afraid to abandon the site of an empty altar. Empty because the energies required for keeping the sacrificial fire alive aren't being moisten with an oil of oblation.

Igor, WOW!

[God is always portrait in a male form, not because he is a man, but because of the penetrative power of the Spirit.

HI Richard, I clicked your name and found your website on the feminine. Pretty earthy stuff but will have to see the movie later. Too late tonight for that.

and to Igor, thanks for the lesson in orgasms with the universe's sex acts..very thoughtprovoking now that you mention it~ a lot of activity going on second by second. NO wonder the population is exploding on earth. Love the analogy.

the universe as a big womb, yet while I see the likenesses between a fetus and the spiraling galaxies, why is the penetration only a spiritual concept and why have you not located the phallic symbol that is penetrating this universe? It takes two, babe!

#13 Actually, arizonasunset, I think deep down it is the 'babe' that is the phallic symbol? (I don't mean Igor, specifically.)
Let the little human stand up for hermself ;)

Harb, thank you for giving the metaphor a prolonged quote.

Arizonasunset, thanks for reciprocating. Actually The Act in which Shiva penetrates Shakti isn't sex in that sense, as I am sure you know the difference. In fact all activity here and elsewhere is a mere reflection and replication of that original Act of Union.

The contact of the senses with the objects of enjoyment is thus the most diluted yet still very powerful echo of the orgasmic bliss that Universe throbs while being filled with the Spirit.

Yeh, a slice of mango on a tongue is as much of importance as the baby-making activity as far as the Love game is concerned.

By the way, the phallic symbol you've mentioned is not penetrating the universe. It dose precisely that what is assigned to the symbol. It stands there always erect.
As a potent reminder of the readiness towards the act, yet unwavering towards the seductive forms of the yoni.

Phallic symbol is not only out there it comes from our own physiology, no not from down there, it actually located in the brain area and the region of the Bindhu Visarga.

DK - Thanks for sharing those two poems/songs by William Blake, as they were thought provoking.

Love, Char

Dear Richard,

I's like to comment on what you said in Posting No.7. It sounds like you are equating the Sacred Feminine energies with the women's lib movement. I am not referring to the Sacred Feminine in the sense of giving increased social status or equality of rights by society to women. What I am referring to is the Sacred Feminine (Mother Goddess) as spoken of by Jesus in the "Essene Communions":

"And after these words have entered into your spirit, on the first morning after Sabbath, say these words: "The Earthly Mother and I are one. Her breath is my breath; her blood is my blood; her bone, her flesh, her bowels, her eyes and ears, are my bone, my flesh, my bowels, my eyes and ears. Never will I desert her, and always will she nourish and sustain my body. And you will feel the power of the Earthly Mother flowing through your body like the river when it is swollen with rains and courses mightily with great noise."

The Mother Goddess (Sacred Feminine) represents the Spirit Force in Nature, the energy constituting all matter.

The Heavenly Father represents the Infinite Soul and the Universal Consciousness.

These two in combination constitute the ETERNAL ORDER OF CREATION.

Best Wishes,

"Betsy" S.

Dear Igor,

I just read your comments in Posting No. 11. You are so right - it isn't about gender. It's about the Dual Forces of the Laws of Creation in operation together to form Creation in perfection.

I think the discussion got a bit far afield after mention of the Cosmic Womb (Egg) seemed to inspire a discussion about Phallic symbols. Also, your reference to the Universe continuing to explode in a multiple orgasm of forms and phenomena due to the Unity of the Two in a mutual and ecstatic embrace really added fuel to the fire.

If you happen to read my commentary in Posting No. 17 I think you will find another interpretation of the Unity of the Two after you read what Jesus had to say about the Earthly Mother. Anyway, the discussion above is very entertaining and amusing as well.

Best Wishes,

"Betsy" S.

Dear Betsy,

Thank you for turning the dialogue to the essence of discussion. Indeed who cares for boys or girls power if it's not empowered by the balance of the two within ? I mean some man have more awareness of the feminine and thus are more nurturing and caring than their sisters, likewise some women have the strength most legendary warriors would envy.

All this talk would be a waste of time if we misplace our attention, trying to locate whom to blame for the lack of justice, equanimity and equality. The ''war'' of the sexes is just an echo of all the other conflicts with which our communities are being filled today. Yet the only enemy to blame is the lack of vision, nothing else, the state of being clouded to the light of our own. Commonly known as - ignorance.

I know the Christ's words from the Eucharist, and see their meaning in all its depth. My own interest towards the lost religious truth have started with the copy of the Bible while I was a soviet army solder in the sands of the Kara-Kum desert. Yet it took another 15 years and the Grace of the Tantric Master, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to unlock the hidden messages of all spiritual and all religious traditions ( irrespective of their origin ) to shine forth in full glory of their revealed essence.

For some it may sound surprising, for I consider Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to be a truly Tantric Teacher of the modern era. His Holiness delivered the teaching in a manner appropriate for the scientific age, yet in its essence it is based on the timeless tradition where the initiation into the practice is paramount to the success in arriving to the desired destination. In our case the realization of God within.

That was the reason for the link about Rene Gunenon in my post No. 11, to draw attention to the importance of the transmission of the energy via the initiation. So the words of Christ on the Spirit of the Mother Earth, or Nature are perfectly in tune with the Tantric philosophy and practice, and I would conclude that Christ Himself was a tantric yogi 'par excellence', for He brought the Teaching along with the tools to follow it.

Above all the initiation into the Mysteries of Life is in fact a main theme of the Eucharist. A Perfect Tantric teaching where Amen stands for Om.

Albeit, how many still serve the Blood from a Chalice ? That was the true meaning of my previous post. Yet I know the word Tantra is too exotic for many even to venture into, beyond the distorted notions ( here in the west and even in its home in India ), so I consider.

With Love and Bliss

igor

P. S. As for the phallic symbol, it is one of those historical misinterpretations done by the first missionaries, when they came to India. Unable to translate let alone to understand the original sanskrit word shivalingam they've erroneously attributed the spiritual practice to the worshiping of the 'phallus' of Shiva. Unfortunately the foolish term got stuck for centuries and even today some are in the dark what is it suppose to represent, the pouring of the milk over the oval-shaped stone.

According to the sanskrit grammar the word lingam means a state which is invisible yet which is the basis of all existence. So it is the state of Shiva (Absolute), whence the name and the philosophy associated with it - the practice of the shivalingam.

Now, the ritual practice ( performed in India to this day) of the 'shivalingam' is the replica of the inner yogic state which spontaneously arises in the advanced stages of meditation. 'Lingam' here refers to the causal body which is subtler than the two others (the physical and the astral), and the sanskrit name for it in the practice of yoga is 'linga sharira' ( literally - it is the body which one cannot see ).

One cannot experience it unless Kundalini enters the subtlest of all channels - sushumna. That's where the metaphor is truly intensified. For it is the reversal of the main process in Nature, where the Energy which always stands for female acting in a male fashion. The inner force behind all this process is Shiva Himself and the practice shivalingam.

* * *

All ancient civilizations had the practice of shivalingam yet at some point the practice was lost or degenerated into the actual (external) worship devote of any spiritual dimension. Like it happened in Greece and Rome, where the phallic symbol became an anatomical gimmick with plenty of funny images made to immortalize the member.

Nothing wrong with the anatomy its beautiful as any other part of human body. Still nowhere like in India the coherence between the internal and the external remained in tact.

Om Namah Shivaya

The topic of this conversation is God as architect, and all of nature appears to be a constant ongoing reflection of itself, repeating its basic structure in many different ways. The phallic symbol is a rod, a connecting tool which acts to connect and make male and female one when brought together so that obviously this would imply that in the universe is some original rod or connecting tool between an entity and the womb, the universe. I call woman Y and man T in respect to the physical of appearance of TY with Y under T in the act of oneness which continues to propagate the earth. The act of procreation or replenishment.

If the womb is Y, somewhere there is also T.

Just my pithy thoughts for this day.

Hi Arizonasunset,

With your latest comments #21, you remind me of the flower of life, or the labyrinth, or in fact the exact symbol of the dot (or the grain of sand), wanting to experience itself in every direction and therefore creating those directions in the course of its lifetime.

We had many conversations on this at the Holistic Quantum Relativity threads in the past.

Seems we are back in the middle again, to start all over :)

Igor, just start a new conversation on this, you revealed it already in another thread here, but I am too lazy at this moment to find it out again for you :)

You know what I mean, Yogi-one was quite interested!

Love, Mieke

http://www.intentblog.com/archives/2008/06/how_can_one_val.html#comments

And it was not Yogi-one but KAN (Kurt) ! :)

But perhaps they both are interested, just like me and I will share too :)

Mieke

Mieke, you mean the spiritual experiences, in and out of body versus human experiences in and out of Spirit ?

I am spinning already. It's been a hot day, actually a hot week, in London being here with the whole family. Enjoying it immensely !

With Love and Blissful dreams,

igor

Yes Igor, good morning to you!

This song (text below) came into mind, reading your response this morning. It is from Paul McCartney called: “Spinning on an axis”

Spinning, I encountered that word lately in a magazine. The word is also used as an indoor cycling sport.

And here are Paul’s words:

World spinning round
To the next revolution
Sun going down
Gonna rise up again

I watch the sun go down
With some sorrow
And now I know its gonna come back tomorrow
Aint no reason
It has to do that
Its the season of the culture bat

Spinning on an axis
Spinning on an axis
Staring in the face
Of time and space
Spinning on an axis

World spinning round
To the next revolution
Sun going down
Gonna rise up again

Hear me rising
Rise up and sing, rise up, rise up

Although Im curious
It isnt a crime
I want to know if ill
Find out in time
A lot of people busy doing their thing
Gonna wake up and sing

Spinning on an axis
Spinning on an axis
We ask the question
And the answers yes
Spinning on an axis

I watch the sun go down
With some sorrow
And now I know its gonna come back tomorrow
Aint no reason why
It has to do that
Its the season of the culture bat

I watch the sun go down
Wonder if its gonna come back
Certainly theres no guarantee
But I got a feeling it will be
Spinning on an axis
Spinning on an axis
Spinning on an axis
Spinning on, spinning on an axis
Spinning on an axis

World spinning round
To the next revolution
Sun going down
Gonna rise up again

World spinning round
To the next revolution
Sun going down
Gonna rise up again
Gonna rise up
Gonna rise up
Gonna rise up
Gonna rise up

It is the background music in my 3D Chartres labyrinth. Walking a labyrinth is spinning too :)

Well, another warm day ahead. Happy to read you enjoy your stay in London.

Love from the heartphone,

Mieke

Dear Igor,

I'd like to comment on your Posting 19. You wrote that "the words of Christ on the Spirit of the Mother Earth, or Nature are perfectly in tune with Tantric philosophy and practice. I would presume that Christ was a Tantric Yogi 'par excellence', for He brought the Teaching along with the tools to follow it."

Paramahansa Yogananda in his writings refers to a document found in a Tibetan monastery which proves Jesus spend much of His life in India.

A man by the name of Nicolas Notovich traveled to Ladakh in 1887 and heard rumors of the life of a grand lama called Issa. A document detailing the life of Issa existed at the Convent of Himis near Lhasa, Tibet. It is said that Jesus studied in India with Rishis of great higher knowledge.

The words he speaks in the "Essene Communions" do reflect the philosophy of Tantric philosophy. The mystery teachings of the elect are all similar. They use different terminologies and symbols to convey the same knowledge. As you say, much is lost in the translation, especially by those who do not enjoy the same reference points.

Thanks so much for your insights and all the good information.

Best Wishes,

"Betsy" S.

Dear Betsy,

You are quiet courageous! I've always been tempted to write here on the theme of Jesus in India, but being already scold by some for ''being all too indian'', I thought to spare the annoyance to overly ''sensitive'' minds.

I bow down to Paramahamsa Yogananda's teaching. I was the one who mentioned his work ''The Second Coming of Christ'', when Deepak Chopra was promoting his ''The Third Christ''. Those familiar with Yogananda's profoundly beautiful book will agree, that the theme of Christ has been fully revealed in the light of universal knowledge, and little can be done to improve what the great sage has done.

India has always been the place of spiritual ''academies'', for instance Kashmir Valley was rightly considered the Sarbon of its days and its not accidental that it was there, around the 10th century, the Tantra found its most comprehensive expression in the Philosophical doctrines of Kashmir Shaiva Tradition. Which ushered the era of the spiritual renaissance in medieval India.

There is a theory that not only Christ has gone through the schooling of a Siddha, but prior to that Moses too, and in fact the area of Kashmir Valley still holds many legends of great Siddhas who ''made it big'' when they went back to their homes.

Speaking historically, no one ever located the whereabouts of Jesus between his childhood till the moment of his appearance in front of his first disciple. There are many versions and theories, one of them is that he might have spent all those years with the jewish mystics (Desert Fathers), yet the accounts given in Paramahamsa's books are striking to say the least.

Now, and here is the real knock out for the scholars. There is a great probability that the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), spend some time in Kashmir Valley and the revelation (Qu'ran) is nothing less than a shruti (that which has been heard internally) recited in arabic tongue. After all Islam is closer than any other religion to Bakhti Yoga and it is the most uncompromising exposition of non-dual form of God-worship. The [ Allah ] is not equivalent to english [ God ], but is beyond God Himself, whence Allah stands for Absolute.

One could dismiss all these theories as wild speculations, yet the fact, which unties the founders of great religions, remains unchallenged, all three, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed were profound meditators. And as far as we know India was always the land where meditation was brought to the level of highest science. The Science of Yoga.

When the faithful ones would consider that there is a possibility that at the base of their religion is a Science of Consciousness (that's what Yoga really stands for). There would be a haunting moment, a reconciliation of all the major spheres of human domain: religion, science and art.

As one of the great modern sufi Masters Indres Shah (I had the blessing to meet), have said: ''Islam hasn't started with the teaching of the Prophet, Islam means surrender to the will of Allah, it has existed since the beginning of time and can never really end''. The same can be said about any religion.

Dear Mieke,

Thanks for the song. About 15 years ago I had to deliver my work to one of the galleries in Albemar St., I've arrived in a black cab with two of my rather long paintings, so coming out of the cab I saw a man in the gallery and asked him through the window if he could help me, he kindly kept the door opened while I was trying to force two works at once inside. When I've handled the pictures to the gallery people to take care for, I've shook man's hand with gratitude, he happened to be Paul Mc'Cartney.

Now, when I was still in my teens, I listened the LPs of Beatles and had a strange feeling that I might meet the guy who looked like Paul. I've bummed into him a couple more times in the recent years, in the area where I live, but the funny bit is that I am not even a fan. London is like that.

I'll be in touch soon, Rene said he posted your book to me already.

Love & Joy

Dear Igor,

I've just read your Posting No.27. I'm so glad to learn of your knowledge of the spiritual academies of India and of the reference to Jesus by Paramahansa Yogananda. You state that "India was always the land where meditation was brought to the level of highest science -the SCIENCE OF YOGA.

The history of India as the locale of highest wisdom teachings goes beyond the era of the Vedic culture. THE SCIENCE OF CONSCIOUSNESS would allow for a reconciliation of all the major spheres of human domain: religion, science and art.

Many years ago I read a book called, "The Secret Years of Jesus" which spoke of his years of extensive travel from the age of 13 to 29 and of his studies in the great mystery schools.

Thank you again for all the wonderful information. You are indeed fortunate to have been able to study the Science of Yoga and to have met such inspirational teachers.

Best Wishes,

"Betsy" S.

Hello Igor,

Well I do hope you like the book. I did not know I had it in me, making poems, but since the discovery of the labyrinth I am discovering more and more my own inner (infinite) possibilities.

I am proud to tell you that I made my first endeavours in painting. I followed a five days painting course with a number of women and one man and we all made such beautiful things. And had a lovely and warm sharing with each other :)

We sent each other over 150 pictures afterwards!
That's all possible nowadays with email lol.

With a few techniques and a few trics we learnt the basics of painting and another way of looking at things.

I have seen your paintings on your website. They are very intrigueing and beautiful!

If you have the time and are interested you can have a look at some of mine on my website. I made a Dutch report on my painting experience and added some pictures to it:

http://www.heartphone.org/schilderscursus.htm

Love to you and yours,

Mieke

Dear Mieke,

Just had the time to look properly at your paintings at your website. The internet is not always the best medium to represent what has the texture, the size, the volume and the feel of the material, yet form what I can see it looks very promising.

Painting is an extremely difficult form of an expression. Unlike the common believe, that everyone can paint. It is like music, requires the discipline and the craft, plus the handling of the material which doesn't exist in music, safe for the given instrument.

You shouldn't take my comments too seriously, for being an artist all my life I don't know how to give empty complements. Simply because in the inner art circles when we show works of art to each other, it is not for the sake of patting on the shoulder, but to have a direct and honest response to one's work. Yet you are are just started and I would only speak more when there is need on your part.

Otherwise I can see you have a sense of composition which also shows in your snapshots, and a feel for paint, which in itself is very important.

I've never painted for fun, so I guess I don't know what it is like to learn and do it for the fun of it. For me the act of painting was always a Dharma (an assigned duty) until another Dharma took over. Yet visual art is an expression of Tripara Sundari Shakti, and beauty is Her form. No matter what I do I'm forever Her fervent worshiper.

I wish you inspiration in your new venture.

With Love & Joy

igor

Thank you Igor,

It is just so fulfilling to express that what is inside myself in such a variety of ways.

In the past I made music from my heart on an electronic music keyboard, without knowing a single note :)

I never took a course in something (only the last five years I followed some). Always have tought myself.

During the time that I wanted to program games on my computer, there were not yet that much programming courses or books either. I just ventured into it and slowly but surely got the hang of it.

I guess it is my dharma that whatever I do, it is always good as long as it comes from that intuitive well inside :)

And what's inside must come out and goes beyond by itself.

Have a wonderful stay in London together with your family.

Love and bliss,

Mieke
