Have you ever played with a gyroscope?
Just a small one that you can get in a toy store. The kind you put a string around and make it spin yourself.

All the potential of it's magical properties are there while it's at rest on the table. Then, someone winds the string around it and in a moment, the potential is realized. The faster it goes the smoother and more balanced it gets.

I have been considering exponential growth.
There are areas such as technology and knowledge that are fertile ground for such growth, while population is not such a good place for it.

Can some aspects of life grow exponentially while others do not?

When I see things like the dancing around the world video it tells me that our global society craves such a connection. There are more and more people creating these kinds of connections.

Check this out. I found it extremely intriguing. Some here may wonder why don't the scientists get it? What if a traditional scientist, often derided on these pages as being materialists, had the transcendental experience, saw how we are all one, experienced what you call the supra-universal consciousness?

Well, in this case it was a neuro-anatomist. Her story, and its effect on her, are very interesting.

Anyway, to more directly answer your post:

Without the discerning wisdom to apply the technologies you mentioned in very careful ways, with appropiate safeguards, and always applied with the primary value being compassion and a desire to better the human race, I think we will never reach that point.

We will decimate ourselves first. Not extinct ourselves, but cause unforseen consequences of our behaviors that rapidly reduce our population and throw our civilization back thousands of years.

To wield the kind of technological prowess you mention, and to use it to make war on fellow humans, or to simply assume that a deregulated market will automatically self-police and make sure the technologies are not applied in harmful ways, will not work.

A worse scenario, in which control over these technologies falls into the hands of people who want to use them to control the planet, or to enrich themselves at humanity's expense, would also lead to a devastation of our civilization.

I personally believe that the next great evolutionary step for the human race is, as Deepak has said, a step up top become a wisdom-based civilization. We should start teaching meditation and how to manage social conditioning as a fundamental skill, right alongside reading and language skills. Without that, the application of very powerful technologies holds the potential to cause devastating damage to our society.

Without that, we are simply going to become bigger unconscious monsters, lumbering around the planet either shooting ourselves up with ever more destructive weapons, or destroying our planet because we have no foresight and "frankly don't give a damn" what the the consequences of our actions are, as long as we are making money and gaining political power.

Can you imagine the technologies you mentioned beiong controlled by Halliburton and the military, and the public debate about it being controlled by FOX news?

That's where we are headed, unless people start demanding of our government to wake up, and we take back control from corporate lobbies.

Right now, everything points to the fact that these technologies will explode onto our society in an uncontrolled, very dangerous fashion.

This is because we, as a society, have never realized the importance of recognizing and dealing with our own social conditionings that promote fear, warfare, and survival of self, without regard for the consequences of our actions.

As you write, the Singularity- the supremely intelligent oneness- has always been here, will always be here, as it exists irrespective of time-space. It is the source of time-space. What is happening is that human consciousness is becoming aware of its true self.

So this perceived "chaos" is not "out there", it is simply the human nervous system close to overload because of the opening in awareness. It's a challenge for our species - evolve or become irrelevant. Singularity is not attached to any specific form... consciousness will continue to evolve with or without us. It is up to human beings to allow this intelligent "chaos" to transform our consciousness. We either let go and flow with what is, or we cling to the known form to the end.

We are not the form. This is the gem of truth waiting to be discovered in the chaos. We are not the transient, we are consciousness itself. We are the field in which all of this seems to arise. We are the very Singularity. It is us, we are it. This is a lot of perception to incorporate... so let's be patient with ourselves :)

Well, that was creative DK and I enjoyed your post. My own personal feelings are that a PC (machine) can never be smarter than us, unless we will it to be so. So if we all preferred to be computers and chips, etc., instead of flesh, then certainly it could become a reality. However, I do believe that we run the computers and machines, while using them as tools, as we grow and develop. One day, we will be able to do it all without computers and phones to assist us in our communications on a global basis. But right now, we have not developed our minds to perform all these tasks, nor do many believe that we are capable of such feats.

Trapped in the currents of the rivers of belief shall one continue to extend to them the staff at one's own peril or shall one let the “seemingly other” drown? If no truth and love is to be found in them then they must be fiction, and what worth is it to save a fiction when there is truth to be preserved?

For how long can there be a pouring out to a world that does not reciprocate much less celebrate and support the source of that given?

Not being inspired to write here lately other than this, for much one has already written for those that bothered to read; one shall gain new energy in silence, and then proceed to set the end of the current system of things in accelerated motion and usher in a new beginning from scratch, if it happens, then this is how it was supposed to be.

Nothing is for certain though, so expect the unexpected.

Today I was at a friends house. I noticed water dripping on her patio. I asked her about it and she said there is a leak in the roof. She left for a short while and while she was gone I noticed water dripping from the kitchen cealing.

When she came back, she noticed it too and asked me if I had noticed it and wanted to know when it started. I answered her that I did notice it, but thought it was something she already knew since she had told me that her roof was leaking.

I notice that things happen now much faster or in an instant. I think we are getting closer, but as long as there is still a gap in time...we are not completly "there" yet.

But to be correct we should say “individuals” and the fictions entertained within their minds as part of the institutions of Church and State, since being labels and concepts Church and State do not think and decide.

This is the point where humanity must overcome the ego barriers, to evolve and survive, and we know this has happened when I find support rather than resistance to the new truth balanced systems. If there is no interest and financial support then one would proceed to set the end of the current system of things in accelerated motion and usher in a new beginning from scratch, if it happens, then this is how it was supposed to be.

Perhaps this is the test of earth civilization, if it graduates it acquires the technology to travel far from the confines of the planet and join the rest of the civilization in the universe having reached the required level of evolution. Or it starts over, or perhaps a few persist somehow gaining the knowledge to do so being connected to the source.

Nothing is for certain though, so expect the unexpected and the reoccurring observation and thought “what an amazing coincidence”.

Change amazingly fast beyond comprehension and extraordinary evolution of consciousness, at least in some.

Perhaps the best advice to give anyone is to “grow a home garden”.

Of course the singularity is the essence of reality, but right now this world has too many individual existences seeking 'to get theirs’ at the Others expense, and I do not see this changing anytime soon.

We must keep hope alive though (just don’t talk down to this brother though k)! Damn! I never did get that mule nor 40 acres and they still blame me; self-inflicted and all! Just joking reverend.

There are no flaws on planet or in body to be fixed; the flaws are in their minds and the systems based on those fictions.

All were born pure into a world of fiction, and this world of fiction is about to be destroyed along with those that host it, such that new consciousness can bloom in paradise.

Although some have embraced the truth it has not been fast enough, that the billionaires and millionaires of the world stand still not funding divine ventures, many of them benefactors of ill gotten gains, spare me the fictions, while so many suffer, grants one divine permission to erase their wealth and the mechanisms to do so are coming in place, a clever plan requiring no force or legislation, the river will follow it’s new course.

The industries and professions seem paralyzed by internal ego impediments and clinging to disproportionate advantage and artificial economy. The board members should ask “what are we are doing to dissolve our organizations ego impediments?” What are we doing to be a part of the migration to the new holistic systems? Which of our profit centers are parts of the old systems? How can we create them around the new?

That they will not relinquish command and control to the One, leaves One with a single option, to take it without force of course but by using the gravity of the situation.

Their own ego and greed leads them into the cleverly set trap, where they meet with their demise.

That is the story line for now… I have seen glimmers of light… but there needs to be a brilliant beacon to stop what has been set in motion to trigger the meeting of our evolutionary requirements.

Well, empyrius, the way I see it:

The only brilliant beacon I know is my guidance inside, this colourful pulsating being that one could also call a heart. But it is not only inside me, I am also in it. All I can do is follow that guidance.

If DK would call that the Master or the unified field or the Supra Universal Consciousness, then I agree. But this pulsating being is also the core of the universe, the central sun from which the Big Bang originated.

Our telescopes are bringing us slowly but surely towards it. We only live backwards you know, we are spiralling towards the source we came from, although we believe we are drifting away from it. Only thing we living beings can do is try to live from our inspiration and let it be.
