Rain Drop
Raindrop
clinging to rusty
old iron bars.
splash,
one falls
to the ground.
born,
shivering,shining
another swollen pearl
bright oval,
swaying to and fro
at its tip.
water film,
reflecting
fleeting images.
unsteady world,
dissolving into nothing,
into everything.
of no consequence,
just another raindrop
trying to hold on
to rusty old
iron bars
in a moving train.

Lovely thoughts, beautifully written.
Thanks for brightening my Sunday morning.
Ramya,
I appreciate your writing pattern of less is more. Analytical writing uses many words and is complex. Poetry is simple and direct like cupid's arrow. Why? I'm thinking that is has to do with what's wrapped around the words. This wrapping of invisible force speaks to the heart and complements the mind making the whole experience round and whole.
Thank you for sharing your raindrop relationship.
Trish~~
