What kind of terrorist even targets the trauma ward of a hospital? I mean, for once in my life i'm speechless, and what is frightening me is that i'm beginning to stereotype and believe in the prejudice against a stream of thought that says there is a place in heaven for people who behave like this. There shouldn't even be a place on earth or in hell for such....

Morning Gayatri and Everyone,
So, it took a trauma ward for you to hit the floor with shock....they had me at 9/11 but, then, the school full of kids in Russia made me realize that, in fact, there was nothing and no one they wouldn't terrorize.
Heaven and Hell...hmmmm...
I tend to think that at the time of death we get a glimpse of the real deal about the who, what, when, where, and, why, of it all, if we haven't figured it out by then. Really, folks, can get pretty lost in this journey, pretty taken away with all the hoopla and let's face it we do not make it easy on ourselves.
But, I tend to think for one brief moment, after death, we get the view, unobstructed, and, I think, for all of us that view is so absolutely humbling that whatever mis-takes we have made, whatever harm we have inflicted upon another, whatever ignorances we have tried to cling to, are seen for what they are with a clairity that pierces our hardened consciousness and the sorrow is then released, the sorrow of mis-understanding, the sorrow of un-recognition, the sorrow of mis-taking ONESELF and calling them AN-OTHER..
after that one brief moment...the journey then continues...people like to end the story of life with the very neat and tidy heaven or hell concept, but I am afraid it is not as simple as the good going up and the bad going down....there is too much in the middle that needs attending to.
I tend not to think of a heaven or hell but of the work it takes to scrape the hardened plaque off our consciousness after our journey through this particular lifetime.
I think when Jesus said ...forgive them father for they know not what they do....he left out a very important part and should have added....or they know not who they are.....
a terror..ist act inflicts exactly what it is supposed to...terror and horror but I know that when that terror...ist is inflicting that terror on that other he is inflicting it upon himself and I can imagine the sorrow will be acknowleged at some point in that consciousness's journey.
There are cases where a parent has accidently caused the death of a child, say, leaving them in a hot car and forgetting about them, it has happened...and when I read about it I imagine the sorrow that the parent must be experiencing...the what ifs...what if I hadn't been so in a hurry that morning...what if?...but it is that kind of sorrow that I am talking about....
Really, I think, we, all of us, as a human family are dis-associated from living the truth of our true nature our true reality and that dis-association brings with it sorrow...because it is sorrowful to live a life's journey and not really get the punch line, so to speak.
So, I tend to think that the experience of sorrow is a much more potent teacher then the fires of hell, in the end..
have a great day ruth..
Hello again,
I guess what I am trying to say is that my emotional, spiritual connection to the terror..ist who is wanting to dismember me and his connection to me is at some level as intimate as the connection we have to our children. Whether, we can register, or recognize, or feel that connection or not makes no difference...at some level we are the same being slapping each other silly, outwitting each other, one-uping each other...starving each other, raping each other... constantly denying our very intimate connection and with that denial is sorrow, unfelt, unrecognized, lived, and nurtured until....there is only an ocean of sorrow to drink drop by sorrowful drop....
here's to awakening from the nightmare of separation...ruth
Gayatri,
How many evil stories can we tell? How many monsters are there in this world? When will humans get tired of the old dark drama?
The micro and the macro. We think a negative thought and it manifests half way around the world in a shooting. We say a negative word and it gives someone a heart attack. Are humans that powerful? Intention is. What is the energy behind one's thought, word and action?
Darkness is the absence of light. It would therefore be logical to turn on and turn up the light. What does that mean in practical terms? It means being a conscious guardian of one's energy through feeling, thought and action. If one is guarding one's own light one is also guarding light for others. This creates a safety net of protection.
Instead of focusing on darkness in the world inject it with light from inside out. That shift of focus begins with a tiny spark (I speak from my own journey out of darkness which is an ongoing moment by moment dance) and increases in depth and breadth.
Gayatri, don't despair. Give the world your dance of light! You are never alone in this uplifted expression.
Trish~~
Aloha Gayatri
Looks like your Ok:) You have found a place to express your thoughts and in reflection it is easy to stay traumatized. We keep stepping in to the old crime scene. We get caught up in justified anger, which steals our sanity. A Course in Miracles suggests when we give up attack thoughts we give being attacked and we are never upset at what we think we are. It is when you see the insanity sane, you start to feel sane again. The reflections in the mirror constantly change, the frame is always the same. There are two calls for love, one being from fear. Heaven is a state of attitude. love patty
This is the true reason for the bomb blasts
CNN-IBN has the video tape which shows bribe being offered to change last weeks vote that saved the Indian government seeking vote of confidence..
So in order to divert the investigation of this corruption against MMS they had to have not 1 but 2 bmb blasts..
Why now? Why after the vote of confidence? And wy after the CNN-IBN tape scandle?
The truth has got lost in the passion...
I think the terrorists win if we forget the last weeks corruption scandle...
Please pass on this message and keep the corruption debate alive.. Send emails to congress controlled media.. Tell them that U have not forgotten MMS government's corruption...
It is an act of cowardice to bomb the defenseless, no matter where, no matter who, no matter why. The people if one can consider them that who did the deed will probably not have the intellect to be able to understand this cowardly act.
As for heaven or hell being places and end points, they are more likely to be ongoing and continuous always within and without in each and every one of us. It is said that our thoughts make us either know a heaven or hellish state of being. As a man thinketh, so he becometh.
To me, hell is confusion and error, and heaven is truth and beauty.
You can not be peace and fight for peace at the same time. That is like serving two masters. We all desire peace, but are our thoughts/words and actions in alignment with that desire?
Aloha Gayatri and Everyone
Stepping into the crime scene again:) For myself, I feel judgement is hell. We know we will, die, just not when or how. It is part of the human experience. Justified anger is just as toxic as unjustified anger. It equates to the shoulds and coulds of why? Some questions only God can answer. Pray for Peace, be the change you want to see. You have to find the opportunity in the crisis. love patty
#3 Yay Ruth, I feel that 'connection' and its partner 'separation.' The clue for me is in the terrorist being both right and wrong. Who dares follow those threads to meaningful source?
Dear Ed,
Your words remind of of a wonderful series on television with typical English humour. I do not know anymore how it was called.
Remember one sentence though: "Are you free Mr. Humphries? Yes, I'am free" :)
Lol. Meike, I don't see the connection! (Yes Minister)
No, t'were not 'Yes Minister' t'were 'Are You Being Served' That makes matters worse... I've gorn orf you!
Ruthie darlin' sort this silly woman out, please ;)
I truly believe that if you are whole in yourself, there is peace in yourself and in your world. And then there are no terrorists that harm you in whatever way. You are served by yourself to be free and whole. Are you being served? Are you free?
It was a comedy series perhaps not aimed at that in that time, but what I have written above has become my truth. Silly woman? Perhaps the older the sillier :)
But with an undertone of seriousness!
Hugs, Meike, I'm sure we agree but come at it from different angles, both of us equally and seriously silly ;)
I do tend to rise from base and thus might say that death itself is the terrorist. It is rather ironic, to say the least, and in with respect for Gayatri's thread, that, in a ward devoted to ward off that ultimate terrorist, the human personifications turn up to finish the job.
Rather than be outraged as Gayatri seems, I want to reach prime causation. That is what I mean by suggesting we dare follow through to the implications as to why Creation or indeed Nature has allowed for this.
That's not to say that we humans can't ultimately transcend, but surely it requires all of us to go there. We are inextricably connected.
What Ruth presented certainly rang bells for me.
Ed :)

And I will keep this right next to it.
Thank you Mieke.

I really believe that until the world starts to shift in another direction soon we will continue to see senseless acts violence for political points. We need to call on leaders of the world and that includes the middle east to openly condemn violence but challenge their own people for peace making. The ultimate enemy of war is peace. We need to be just as creative at creating peace than we did for ways to harm and destroy. New change is brought on by new thinking.
