Dear Dr. Chopra,
In response to your questions regarding whether we are breathing or being breathed I would like to say that we are being breathed. We are patterns of energy created by the One Mind, Creator Source of all life as are all the galaxies, suns, stars, planets. We are microcosmic examples of the great macrocosmic Order of Creation.
There are new scientific findings which are based upon the study of sacred geometry and the golden mean (golden ration) of Phi. Knowledge of torsion physics and the study of the aether (the sustaining field of all matter) have brought to light new realities. The Russian physicist, Dr. N.A. Kozyrev has said, "Once we establish that all force fields such as gravity and electromagnetism are simply different forms of aether (zero point energy) in motion, then we have an active source for gravity and a straightforward reason for why it would exist. We see that every molecule in the entire body of a planet must be sustained by an ongoing in-flow of aetheric energy. The aether has a fluidlike nature which always travels in the spiraling movement of torsion waves. The ancient cultures referred to this great energy field of spiritual essence as the Cosmic Ocean.
We are all parts of the Grand Plan and Creative Order of the One Mind.
As the great physicist of our times, Dr. William A. Tiller, says: "What we see with our eyes comprises less than ten percent of the universe. The real power sustaining its architecture is the energy contained in the ninety percent of the unseen".
Best Wishes,
"Betsy" S.
Hi Deepak,
I think you made a good point with the question could I breathe if the trees did not breathe and yes we are being breathed. That triggered a thought I have had and written before..
There is a leaf floating down the river of life and sometimes it wants to go to the left bank and does, and sometimes it doesn’t. The leaf thinks it’s in control, but really it goes where the current of life is takes it or we might say the current of desire and the impetus of evolution.
Which evolved further…
We might think of this leaf as ego bound awareness, which doesn’t really have free will in at least one context. It does have free will though in regard to where it places it’s attention and it is free to think and believe what it chooses.
Well after a long journey and the gaining of wisdom and awareness it reaches the ocean an infinite expanse of water and when it sees this ocean there is a metamorphosis and the leaf becomes the captain of a sailing vessel, with unbounded awareness, a glimpse of the infinite, and a new degree of freedom.
With tiller in hand it sets it’s intention and the wind breathes into it’s sails and carries it on it’s journey. It is still dependant on the wind, and being breathed, it is subject to the whim of the wind and the direction the wind chooses to blow, so the captain must align with the wind if it is to journey to where it wants to go, which we might construe to be divine will, but at least now it can set it’s own course with intention and a greater degree of freedom.
Now referenced on Buddha .me
Hi Deepak,
Why is a baby crying at the same time? Breathing and crying seem to go together. If the baby does not cry, it does not breathe either.
To me, having given birth, that crying is the primordial force of nature. It seems that we are in need for something the moment we are born.
From the moment we are born we are captured in the forces of nature. If we are lucky we will be allowed to entangle from them in a natural way again. Perhaps that only needs breathing in and breathing out :)
All the rest is our imagination. And our imagination has indeed endless possibilities which give us endless way to play, while breathign in and out :)
Dear Dr. Chopra,
I'd like to add something to my previous posting No.2 in reference to the Cosmic Ocean which has been revered by ancient cultures.
In the Essene Community where Jesus lived and taught they revered the Cosmic Ocean. The Essenes conceived of the whole universe as a Cosmic Ocean of Life in which currents of cosmic power are continually uniting all forms of life on all planets and which also continuously connects man with all other organisms.
The Essenes considered Love to be the highest creative feeling and they held that a Cosmic Ocean of Love exists everywhere uniting all forms of life, and that Life itself is an expression of Love.
Thought was held by the Essenes to be both a Cosmic and a physical function. They considered the Cosmic Ocean of Thought pervading all space, containing all thoughts, as the highest and most powerful of all energies. It never diminishes and is never lost.
The Essenes viewed the Universe as a process of continuous creation in which man must take his part.
Best Wishes,
"Betsy" S.
I saw your posts on the "Does a New Start Have a Chance?" thread Betsy and I was going to respond but never did, but I had composed a little rant, no answers though cepting REVOLUTION! . . .:
I hear you Betsy; but what are we going to do?!?!
To destroy the U.S. war-making juggernaut we would have to take up arms, but they would quickly enough murder us; and anyway The Revolution will have to be a peaceful uprising of the people of this world because peace will “break out” in no other way: peace will never be attained with violence and bloodshed!
We could try to feed some starving Africans, and even help them to build universities, hospitals, and community centers, but of course first we would have to come up with the food and deal with whatever governmental and corporate entities that demand money, licenses, lawyers and more before we can even think of performing such altruistic endeavors.
Or just the local disfranchised we could seek to uplift, alas, that is if one is not the legally disfranchised, hence no power nor money to build a village of schools and tools, and aye even daycares, doctors, and dentists too, to which our impoverished, drug-addled, debt-riddled, probation-violation waiting to happen, or simply barely paying monthly rent, sisters and brothers seeking a new chance can flee . . .
Instead we are locked into a financially in debt box from which we may ne’er escape. Trite notions such as societal progression are discarded because “the right” sees no point and the working-class left is barely surviving, and now crime simply leads to punishment - loss of freedom and loss of money - , and helping the poor is a prayer and brunch on Sundays.
Justice has been commoditized; into behavioral modifying classes competing for county/state/federal funds to indoctrinate the condemned huddled masses into believing patriotic religiosity is the key to sobriety and being a “good” tax-paying citizen, 20 dollar silver dollars (11 + 9) show one’s “just” patriotism while being economically took, and welfare to ex-soldiers to act as guards is called “private enterprise,” when in truth it is simply parasitism, little fish cleaning the crumbs from the mouths of man-eaters that is, but such is the “justice” in fighting for the rich man on foreign shores, rewarded in violently guarding domestic immoralists.
Justice is simply local and national aristocrats (I just noticed several new judgeships “awarded” to the progeny of local well established land moguls around my neck of the woods), and their armed henchmen, constructing ever more laws and manufacturing ever more weapons and prisons, passing laws the working-class and poor have no hope of battling, and reaping the monetary benefits, all the while saying “we is good they is bad, and let us off now to Iran to plant yet another American flag . . .”
And the “good” Americakanners gladly go kill, while the anti-war crowd is deemed unpatriotic, and those who are just trying to economically survive hope their daughter/son will be the next Hannah Montana or American war “hero” . . .
Moral of the story: don’t be born into a continentally-bound poor family!
“Justice”?!? Tis a nice word . . .

this breeze does move my boat
as I drift
my oars now gone
possibly out on loan to rain soaked friend
the earth in it's wholeness
...............breaths
this breath does move my soul
as I drift
my spirit now gone
possibly out on loan to a playful friend
there is this moment when the wind does pause
the earth inhales
but there in that moment
that stillness
comes the chill
that runs up my spine
out through my finger tips
that moment
that very moment
yes of course the earth breaths
and we breath it's breath
it breaths ours
and everything that ever was
has created everything that is
everything that is will create
everything that will be
everything is everything
what else could it be
just doodling

Aloha Deepak and Everyone
Today my Client were talking about the little gecko whose throat balloons when calling its prey. My Client can no longer go out into her garden and now enjoys the view from her door way. With death approaching it too has its song, and there is nothing more beautifully than witnessing someone being breathed at the very lasts breaths.
We talked about the gecko and the food chain, and she shared her concern about being eaten. I shared that even stars eat each other. And maybe the word is not eaten but breathed each other, a force that is inner stream of a signal breath. What bliss when you take us to a galactic view, Mahalo! love patty
Aloha Patty
I held my grand-mother's hand and looked into her eyes as exhaled her last breath and I inhale my next. Still strong with her energy.
Thank you grandma. I love you

As I float in my bubble far out in space
I watch the stars
attracted by that primal force
they draw closer
and closer
until they're arms
full of fire
just touching
by then it is too late
they fall together and dance
and dance
and fall further
and further
together
they breath each other out
they breath each other
in
and me in my bubble
here to watch
to be mesmerized
by they're rays of light
that dance cross the dust
the remains
of other dancers
here in space

Yo grandma I bet your giggling bout now
Okay what's the secret of getting my face on this seesmic thing?
Hey derek,
So you have your video hooked up? Does that mean you can see yourself, just not on seesmic? And does your camera have a built-in mic or do you have a headset or hand-held mic?
I'm no expert, but I had some trouble when I first hooked my camera up, too. Maybe we can figure it out...
Shar
Hey Shar
I'm not even getting my picture on my computer. I have all kinds of recording equipment because of my music hobby, sound is not an issue.
I don't know if I have software on my computer to give me live video and I can seem to find Deepak's videos on seesmic.
I'm sure it's something simple and we'll laugh about this later.
thanks Shar
derek
Don't need no software derek, this darn web cam I got must be a 6 year old thirty dollar special, just "plug and play" as they say . . .
peace
Hey derek and Craig,
When I was having trouble with mine, I called the tech support number on the package the camera came in. I had a security firewall on my computer that wouldn't allow the camera's software to run. So they just removed it... I wasn't using it anyway.
But the thing is, even when the software was not able to run, I could still see myself, and the camera actually worked on IM. Like Craig said you don't need software...but maybe you do need it to install the hardware? So bottom line, does your computer recognize the new hardware you have installed? I think that's all that matters. I think.
I'd call the number on the box :)
Hope you get it going. Can't wait to see you and hear your thoughts. It's awesome to see and hear you Craig. The whole video thing makes me feel more connected. And Craig, you are so right, the nonverbal communication just doesn't always come through on the page. It's easier to misinterpret someone without seeing them and hearing their voice.
luv u guys
shar
Also derek,
I just went to www.seesmic.com. Once you log in, there's a button at the top "Search User". Click on that. Then type in deepakchopra. Then click on "view profile". It will play his most recent video and show you all his previous videos.
Peace!
Shar
Thank you, Deepak, for sharing your thoughts. I love the idea of being breathed by the One Spirit, Universe, Brahman. It feels good, my body feels good. I feel connected, whole... supported...
I like what you said too, Sharon, and it's great to see you on video.
Derek, I like your poems...it has the feeling I feel... I hope you get to read them on video too.
Love,
M:)

Yes this is quite awesome everybody! Don't forget to check out intent dot com; tis pretty kewl.
Indeed sharon (1) seing how how your thoughts dance across your eyes before you even speak them is quite kewl, or watching Richard's video number 6, his smile just brings such life to his words, or even seeing raz's daughter play with mom's hair as she speaks, and having now seen Aurora who has always been such a vibrant presence here at intentblog: it is all just really kewl!
Write a little here, vid blog a little there . . .
Now iffin I could just type without even using my fingers. I have experimented a little with my puters capabilities, but I have not those fancy 3 thousand dollar puters;
ahhh iffin I was only in the social class that writes without fingers (he-he).
God bless all
Hi Martha... thank you. It's nice to meet you.
Kate, your very welcome. I hope you can make it work.
Craig, thank you for that lovely comment. I sometimes struggle to find the words. I think in pictures. That's why I talk so slowly sometimes. I go through several words before I get the one that describes my feeling or idea, or the picture in my mind. Sometimes I don't find the word or words and just have to settle for something else. Sometimes the words just flow out. I love it when that happens.
Much love,
Sharon
Dear Deepak ,
I am very new to these concepts. My boyfriend is a full on believer in spirituality and does not believe at all in the existence in god. In contrast, I grew up praying and believing that there is god. Brought up as a hindu, I still knew that there was just one god and the way we perceived god was just because of the different cultures and upbringing. Anyways, my question is in regards to the sculptures and statues drinking milk during one phase. And occasions in Malaysia where there were holy ashes coming from Sai Baba's picture. Another recent incident is a Shridi Sai Baba's one eye opening incident. How would you describe these incidence? From my humble understanding, I feel that something is tried to be said. But then how does these incident happen. When i asked my bf for the answer.. All he could say is " I know the truth" and that irritated me... coz I want to know the explanation.
Thank you.
Kind Regards

hi derek, Craig and Sharon,
I am breathin
Wow! That's all I can say, as Deepak was intense and this video was wild.
So I immediately thought, hey, I'm going to start meditating again! It looks like fun. I don't know why it's been such a problem for me lately ... well, I think I might know, but it's okay. When I meditate, I just keep hearing about LOVE, so that's not too bad, even tho I hadn't thought I was as needed as I was when my dad died. Plus, I felt Spirit was interfering while I was trying to be tough again, so I wouldn't get hurt. But I can see that I can never go back to coldness and I just have to become wiser to deal with stuff. So being strong in this way is good and not weak, as I don't have to put up with wrong doing and can still stand up for myself and not be mean about it. So this right and good ... for me and love is alright. Well, love is beautiful and I just need to keep seeing it this way. ... just thing out loud, as I talk to myself.
Love, Char
