Ramya Sriram
Paper Boats
thoughts float,
bob up and down
like paper sailboats

in crooked,
rainfed rivulets
during monsoon

that diverge,
broaden,and
gurgle nothings

and sometimes
disappear into
potholes and drains

black marker erased
by the water,leaving
shades of soaked white

thoughts float,
bob up and down
like paper sailboats

and I dont know
which ones are yours
and which ones mine.

Ramya,
That's well worth a monsoon.

VIT...those are the days!

If you like the world of books, you will enjoy travel too...

MBA in India is not something I would prefer...unless it's an IIM, forget 99 percentile in CAT write GMAT (with possibly a year or two job experience), or GRE...bio has a great future in the US. America is not all full of tall buildings -- ask Sarah Palin, small towns and rural areas are the Real America! -- it is also a place to be if you love nature...lots of diversity to explore.

cheers

Ramya, nice words!

I enjoy floating on your blog...

I don't know if you'd posted this poem before, Ramya, but it seems as if I've read it before. It's lovely. So are the others on your blog. I like WaterColour best, right now.

Ramya,

Nice pitter patter
On heart mind

Simply said
Round and profound

We row our boat
Shore to shore

Keeping time in
Syncopated rhyme

Trish~~

Ramya, are you there?
Is it you, pointing ripples at us?

Something is sit on dark-switch
Please turn it off. Can you?

Sorry, if I miss of clarity
I am no-direction blind-sick

Is this hole-field, the white-beam of yours?
Is it you behind the quasar-acting?

Very beautiful ... is you or is it me :-)

I am the sunshine that gives direction to the boat.
I am the boat that floats within the river of grace.
I am the river that guides the boat to its destiny.
I am all of this.
I am.

Once
Upon your Time
Before kings
I rained
Floods of tears
Down drains
And children
Were not ashamed

Ramya, nice words!
I enjoy sailing on your blog!

Oh my first comment also got posted finally. Was not my intention to post it twice. However, it's worth two comments...
