This is a very interesting concept.. and I think it can really work...

This is not an easy vow though since it talks about non-violence even in the thoughts... well, I haven't really been violent since perhaps childhood, just casually fighting with my bro or cousins etc...but I do get angry sometimes if I see unjustice, so I feel I am not ready to take this vow yet.. I am making a sincere effort in this direction though.

One thing that really struck me from Eckhart's teachings about "peace" was that he says we want to have enemies and thats why we have enemies. And I realized on a very subtle level, it does exist within me.. I don't quite view the world as ALL are my friends. Not that I don't want it, but I feel, perhaps "they" don't want it. I automatically feel, ofcourse, some people are for me and some against me... not for any position, but then again on a very subtle level. Its actually been quite a revelation to me... and suddenly my world is turning from more of a competitive, struggling world to a friendlier one.

Deepak,
Rock on! Our burden is easy and our journey honest/pure joy. That doesn't mean the road is smooth. A warrior/hero/heroine journey is filled with challenges and healing opportunities.

As a conscious community we press forward doing our inner work in the outer world. And we have fun along the way. Thanks for the uplifting spirit!!

Trish~~
