Dr. Avtar Singh is author of the book entitled- "The Hidden Factor: An Approach for Resolving Paradoxes of Science, Cosmology, and Universal Reality". The book was motivated by his deep interest in pursuing a scientific search for reality, purpose, and meaning in the universe and life in it. The book integrates science, religion, and spirituality by forwarding a universal consciousness-based approach that resolves key issues dividing them.

Dr. Singh has appeared on several TV and radio talk shows covering wide range of topics related to science, cosmology, religion, philosophy, and consciousness. Over the last year several of his TV shows have been broadcast on Comcast Cable. He has Doctor of Science and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Earlier, he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. Professionally, he has been involved in state-of-the-art research and development in various fields related to science and engineering over the past 30 years. He has been a long-term member of key professional organizations including the American Society of Mechanical Engineering and American Nuclear Society. He has published/presented more than fifty papers in professional journals and organized/chaired technical sessions at professional conferences. He received the 'Best Paper Award' from the American Nuclear Society as well as several technical excellence awards from reputed employer companies.

Dr. Singh has also contributed and presented papers at the Metanexus and other interfaith conferences. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Singh has received several merit scholarships at the national level and doctoral fellowship from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology in recognition of his academic excellence.
