Suchitra Krishnamoorthi does many things.
"Creative Artist" or "Clueless Rebel" is how she often describes herself when forced to put a label on what she does.
She acts, she sings, she paints, she writes poetry and she's a mother. Having started her modeling career at the age of 15 to earn some extra pocket money, she made her Bollywood debut in the film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naan in 1994. In the span of the next few years she wrote songs, released music albums, travelled the world, had a baby.
Having quit the acting scene after her first film, Suchitra returned to the silver screen in the film "My Wife's Murder" in 2005.
Suchitra recently took to painting, under a spell of what she considers a blessing from Lord Ganesha. Having never painted or even sketched before, art has taken over her life and Suchitra has gone on to hold exhibitions in galleries within India and around the world.
