In one of his previous posts Deepak raised the question regarding the relationship between synchronicity and accident. Following are some insights from the consciousness-integrated holistic scientific perspective.

Something cannot be created from nothing - is the main thrust of the theories presented by cosmologists/scientists at the Crisis in Cosmology Conference (CCC) held at Port Angeles, Washington from September 8 thru 12, 2008. The conference was attended by more than fifty scientists from across the world.

Is the Universe (including life) a Purposeless Accident? Science of Purpose: Part 2

Accidents happen only in time. Most of us mistake the 4% visible matter in the universe as the entire universe ignoring the 96% of the invisible universe (dark energy and dark matter). Since time is a relative property only of matter, no more than 4% of the universe could be subject to time and possibly an accident; the rest majority 96% of the universe is eternal existence beyond time and free from any accidental uncertainties. Since time is a stubborn illusion (relative reality of matter) from the universal point of view, the accidental universe(s) is no more than an illusion of the materialistic mind or ego.

Objectivity of Consciousness

There is a widespread (mis)understanding that consciousness or conscious experiences are purely subjective. This (mis)understanding is a direct artifact of the subjectivity (disguised as objectivity) of the mainstream scientific approach limited to Object-ism or materialistic measurements alone.

Panacea to Pain and Suffering - A Holistic Scientific perspective: Part 4

The biggest miracle of nature is the capability of the human mind to comprehend the universal laws of an orderly cosmos. Once it is realized that the certain and eternal laws of the universe govern matter, human life, and mind, the path to alleviate suffering is illuminated. An in-depth understanding of these laws unfolds the path to a seeker liberating him/her from the dogmas and misleading incomplete interpretations of the incomplete material-only science and dogmatic religion.

The universe is a cosmos not a chaos or an accident (a blunder-full artifact of the incomplete quantum mechanics). The cosmos that includes mind and consciousness as fundamental entities beyond matter is governed by an orderly and certain set of laws. The relativities and dissolution of pain/pleasure and suffering/happiness are also governed and explainable by these universal laws without the need for quantum mysticism, metaphysics, or dogmatic religion.

Ego is founded on its illusory friendliness of the true self or consciousness. After all, it helps us in our evolutionary struggle for survival and/or dominance over others. It helps us accumulate wealth, power, and fame perceived as the successes of the material world.

Pain and Suffering - A Holistic Scientific perspective: Part 1

Evil is often (mis)understood as the root cause of pain and suffering, which are nothing but symptoms of the ego disease. Dogmatic religion has devised an illusive enemy – “Evil” to mislead humanity away from the root cause of pain and suffering. In order to understand the root causes and remedies of pain and suffering, one must understand the underlying universal laws that govern the universe and life in it.

Absolute Certainty or Not?

One of the widespread and mistaken interpretations of quantum mechanics (QM) is that there is an inherent uncertainty in nature that disallows existence of the absolute certainty in the universe. Quantum mechanics represents the inherent reality as a potential consisting of probabilities of various relative classical or manifest-able possibilities. Just like the sum of parts is never the whole, the quantum potential never represents the wholesome or absolute reality.

Universal or Non-Local Consciousness vs. Local Mind: Part 3 - God vs. Ego

Another common hallucination of the ego is to misrepresent God (universal consciousness) as a potential or collection of possibilities and probabilities. The God or universal consciousness exists absolutely as Eternity (Zero-point energy in the fully dilated space-time) and not as a mere potential. It represents the ultimate existence - the state of absolute certainty, non-locality, and non-duality.

While it may be true that the experience of universal consciousness, emptiness, or oneness may be indescribable, the holistic science may provide a verifiable and objective description that can be validated against the observations of the universe. The merit of such description is that it is as free as possible from the purely subjective pronouncements of the self-acclaimed experiencer or observer.

Universal or Non-Local Consciousness vs. Local Mind

Consciousness and mind are the most undefined or ill-defined entities. I will be presenting the paper entitled - "A Universal Approach to the Problems of Consciousness" accepted at the conference - Toward a Science of Consciousness 2008, Tucson, Arizona, April 8-12, 2008. The paper defines the universal consciousness as non-local, while mind is a local phenomenon since it represents the confined consciousness within the space-time boundaries of the ego built upon beliefs, convictions, and mindsets.

The Crucial Wisdom – “Who Am I?” Part 3

The ego or mind constitutes the false or presumed identity built upon the unconsciousness of the observer or person. Hence, the perceived realities and identities by a person or observer are mere projections of the ego thru the colored glass of its unconsciousness. So long as we identify ourselves as the manifested ego, the falsehood of our identity would remain leading to the uncertainty, doubt, and fear throughout our lives.

The Crucial Wisdom – “Who Am I?” Part 2

The biggest hurdles to realize the crucial wisdom – “Who am I?” are the boundaries of the prison of the ego built upon acquired beliefs, convictions, information, and knowledge of the manifested-only world. The dissolution of the ego is not elimination but dilution of the ego via merging into the vast and unbounded absolute Truth.
